ImageAurora turned in her chair next to Jaiden to dress Alex, "Sounds prefect. I'll keep an eye out for you two" She spoke with a mischievous glint in her eye. It was slight, but nonetheless there.

Turning back to Jaiden, her heart melted at the thought of the animals missing her. "Oh of course. I'm getting so close to understanding Melvin. It's really on the tip of my tongue. Who knew hedgehog was such a difficult dialect?" She spoke with a slight giggle. Her Zoolongualism was definitely rusty as she hadn't used it in years but she tried practicing whenever she was over at Jaidens. Raising an eyebrow at the witches' comment about the flowers Aurora grinned. "Plans? You know I'm all ears, you think it- I can grow it".

The fae's attention was promptly stolen at the words, strawberry and tea, her face lighting up like a child of Christmas. "Phoenix, this smells" she took a small bite of the muffin in front of her, "and tastes delicious". Rory was graciously enjoying the tea and muffin in front of her, after all sweets where a fairy's weakness.

Unfortunately at the mention of hunters, her face suddenly turned ashen. It seemed that the rather chipper one of the group suddenly became the quietest as the others discussed the possibility of hunters in Greythrone. She absentmindedly picked at the muffin wrapper to distract her mind from straying to places that she didn't want it to go. Hunters were always a touchy subject with Aurora, for obvious reasons. It was as if the mention of them turned on her flight-or-fight response. The anxiety from the others were slowly seeping towards her like a thick cloud that left a bitter taste on her tongue.

Aurora suddenly stood up from the table, a cautious yet weary smile on her face. "I'm sorry, I'm just gonna - get some air. And check on the flowers, they're looking a little wilty" She looked towards the cart of flowers near the door, that looked exactly the same as they did when she brought them in this morning. She quickly dashed towards the door opening it, a small squeak coming from her lips as she ran smack into someone who happened to be walking into the cafe. Aurora slowly lifted her eyes to the tall form who stood in front of her immediately noticing his piercing blue eyes, and the coldness that seemed to surround him. He was haunting. "I'm terribly sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going and-" She stopped mid-sentence as he placed a hand on her shoulder freezing her in her tracks. "It's alright, no trouble really." He offered her a smile but it didn't quite reach his eyes. The man stepped aside and Aurora took the opportunity to slip past him out on to the sidewalk taking a comforting breath of fresh air. She instantly felt better. Still, she cast a weary glance back at the stranger watching the door close behind him.

Cas wasn't one for cafés. Especially not busy ones. But he had seen a few flyers around town in the week that he had been there and couldn't help himself when he saw 'homemade jams' listed as a product. His damn affinity for blackberry jam. It got him in more trouble than he ever could've imagined.

For one he nearly squashed the girl at the door. A skittish one at that, her thoughts were bouncing off the walls a mile a minute. He had met a few with a mind like hers. Most likely a fairy or nymph. After a century he seemed to clump them into synonymous groups. The angel cursed himself for the unwanted attention he had already gathered for himself. As there were more than a few eyes on him. He ran a careful hand through his blonde hair, surveying the inhabitants of the cafe before making his way up to the counter. Cas searched through the menu and his eyes lit up slightly as he saw a near perfect blackberry scone sitting in the display case, as if it had his name written on it.

Casually leaning against the counter, he turned back into the café. All the inhabitants seemed busy, happy. It was one thing he seemed to like about Greythorne. Maybe, perhaps, why he was still here. Cas was on his through BC and the town had been the only for miles. It was merely supposed to be a stop, a day or two - which had easily turned into a week. He reminded himself it wasn't like he was in any big hurry anyway, but the longer he stayed the more chance he had to meet people, to make friends, to make mistakes. He'd learned it the hard way.
