A small smile creased her lips when Madison had begun her usual ramblings, it was an all too common occurrence for her, especially when she was stressed. Mainly involving family and well, with Graduation it wasn't so surprising to see her even more so stressed. She casually nodded and gave a small smile under Madison finally caught herself, and apologized. Jordan simply waved her off and shrugged, "It's no big deal you know me. I'm used to your rambling." she said with a teasing tone and a small wink. Jordan groaned slightly as she tried to get comfortable in the oh so ever uncomfortable seats, the fake leather creaking under her weight until she got comfortable. "It was the usual. And unsurprisingly uneventful. I had a few things to do this morning as well as take care of a few things, but I managed to get it all done. So uh, it's been a day." she said with a sigh as she relaxed a bit in the booth, until she heard a voice that was rather familiar speak up.
To her surprise it was the new girl, Guinevere, she was an interesting individual to say the least. Sure they didn't really know her past the name tag and small talk they've made since she moved to the town. But she was always nice enough to them and always wore a smile whenever she saw them. Jordan smiled and perked up slightly as she asked if it would be the usual, "Yes please. Thanks, Guinevere." she said with a small smile. Her thoughts were dragged away as the thought of food finally hit her, as she really hadn't eaten at all that day as she had been too busy to. The thought of getting what she normally had made her state of hunger even more noticeable. A stack of the house special pancakes and bacon strips with a coffee made her smile a bit more so than usual. After a busy workday food always tasted and smelt better than they normally would.
"Also, before I forget. Before we leave can you get two bottles of the lemonade? Kate's been asking for it a bit as of late and I feel guilty not bringing her back any." she said with a small smile and awkward chuckle, as she hated being a bother, but she couldn't really let down or disappoint Kate by not bringing any back home.
