Image"Two hours, huh? I think that must be a new record" Guinevere joked as she scribbled Madison's usual order on to her small steno pad before turning her attention to Jordan. At the mention of Kate her face softened to a small smile and she nodded. The youngest of the Ley'co girls was truly a delight. Gwen always enjoyed seeing the young girl come in as she always had a smile on her face. She always made sure to bicker to the cook about making sure she always got extra chocolate chips on her pancakes. "Of course! And tell her I said hello, would you? I have a stack of pancakes with her name on it" She giggled slightly before slipping the pencil back behind her ear. "I'll be right back with everything" With that she turned away from the table and walked behind the counter ripping the order sheet from her pad and hooking it to the cook's line.

A waitress job was not something Gwen ever saw herself doing - even when she was human. Yet now, she wouldn't give it up for anything. It was the closest she'd got to feeling normal again. Of course, she'd dread the day when people began to notice that she wasn't getting older anytime soon and she'd have to pack up and move towns again. The vamp had become quite accustomed to Bear Point, maybe even as far as fond of the place. She'd miss it for sure. Gwen hadn't even realized how much time she had spent dazing off into space when the small little bell chimed and Martin placed food up on the counter. She turned around flashing him a smile as she grabbed the plates, "thanks Martin" but faltered when he held on to them. "Hey, I was wondering if you-" "Sorry Martin, I'm busy tonight. I really appreciate the offer but Mrs. Gardner needs someone to watch her dog" They had this conversation at least once a week. At first Gwen treated it as innocent and flattering, but now it began to irritate her. "Again? But didn't she have you watch him last week?" She forced a curt smile tugging slightly on the plates. "She's a busy woman Martin". "She's seventy-three". "Bingo nights are all the rage these days", Gwen gave it one final tug and he released his grip, "maybe next week" she called over her shoulder as she approached the girls table. That's what she had said last week.

"Alrighty, sorry about that. I have a stack of Joe's special with an extra side of bacon, and a coffee... and one order of French toast with fruit and a coffee Pine's style" She said with a smile as she placed the food in front of the girls. "The lemonades are packed and ready to go when you guys are finished! Can I get either of you anything else?".
