Jordan listened silently as Madison spoke, the two taking bites and sips of the food they ordered every now and then as they conversed. A small smile formed on her face when she said that they'd stay in contact after she left and that she'd keep her up to date on all of her escapades and adventures, especially those books. Shaking her head she chuckled softly, it was genuine and one of the few times she was actually happy was when she was with her small group of friends, as well as the diner. It had always been a place that they had gone to, from when she was young, to being a common hangout spot for the gang and families as they grew up. "Just promise to not have too much fun without me, got it?" Jordan said with a smile that soon faltered slightly, as she thought about the reality of not being able to see one of the few people that made her life better every day like she used to. Shaking those thoughts out of her head, she suddenly propped up as she remembered something. "That reminds me." she said as she dug into her jacket's pocket, and pulled something out in a small black box and placed it on the table in front of Madison.

"I almost would have forgotten to give it you before graduation. I know it isn't much, but it was the best I could afford at the moment." she said with a small smile as she opened the box, revealing a small, silver locket with a small silver chain. "I know it isn't much but, I figured it was better than nothing at all. Consider it a good luck charm for going away, as well as reminding you about all of us back here in Bear Point, since I know you'll be too busy living it up in the city and forget about all of us." she said with a teasing wink. Soon after they had finished there food and paid the bill, and collected the crate of lemonade for Kate as they thanked Marvin and Guinevere again as they left, "Thanks again, and see you sometime. Gwen, Marvin." she gave the two a friendly smile as they headed out the door.

After unlocking the door to her truck, putting the small crate in the back compartment she closed the door, stuffing her hands into her pockets as the cold winter air blew passed them. It was only getting colder, which wasn't very surprising as there were still some patches of snow here and there on the ground, seeing as winter and spring were usually the longest seasons in this old town, tending to last far too long for some people's liking. "So, do we go on an unknown adventure and see where the road takes us, or become mole people again by retreating to the Pines house, or do you already have other plans, Madds?"
