A deep sigh escaped her lips when Madison began talking about how she finally had proof it wasn't her overactive imagination or even an obsession. Now someone else has seen it, with her and couldn't lie about seeing it. Slowly she nodded with a deep sigh, "That I can't deny..." she said rather somberly. Part of her knew that Madison was telling the truth, that there was something else living in this town. But large wolves weren't uncommon, right? Shaking her head she sighed, looking over her shoulder as Madison began rambling about having to go back for her mom and warn her, if not at least stopping her of going into the woods for another search. In the past recent years, Mrs. Pines had taken it upon herself to personally go out and do daily to weekly searches around the woods. Mainly as an extra safety check for the people as they tended to make a short cut through the dense woods. Jordan sighed as she gently cupped Madison's face with her hands, steadying her as she attempted to calm her down. "Are you even listening to yourself? They didn't attack us, and what can we do? Be even more paranoid and-" she took a deep breath as she let go of her face and sat back in the driver's seat. Taking a moment to collect her thoughts.
Madison was right, she knew that much. They deserved to know that they saw what Madison's mom had apparently seen all those years ago. There were things out in those woods, they never felt right or normal to any of them anyway. Thinking it was simply the feeling that the town itself had. But it always felt like eyes were on you when one walked through those woods. Never seeing who or what was watching you, but you could feel it. Those eyes staring and watching your every move from their perch. It was that same feeling that she felt when the wolf-like creature locked eyes with her. It wasn't dread or fear, but more so curiosity and a strange calmness overcame her. She looked back up as she put the car in reverse and made their way back into town, "I fucking hate it when you're right. Ya know that?" she said softly as she gave her friend the side-eye before taking off back where they came. Part of her knew this was what they had to do to let them know that something possibly dangerous was in those woods, but it also felt wrong. She didn't know why, but something about this felt off and wrong to her. Those creatures didn't radiate a dangerous or deadly presence, but something was off. That was simply the only word used to describe how it felt, anything else felt wrong to her. But, getting this done would not only help her mother, but would possibly get Madison to let it go a bit, or it could possibly only accelerate it, but there was only one way to tell. They'd have to go and let someone else know, someone they could trust and not think that they were crazy.
