“Yeah, I was just... upset,” he seemingly replied, causing Trinity to frown. He looked at her, making Trinity cant her head slightly. It took her a bit to realize he wasn't talking about today but yesterday's drama. She pursed her lips looking away. She didn't need any guilt setting in right now. Trinity had given her apology and meant every word.
“I'm sorry I was an ass. I don't get angry often and when I do... It kinda just implodes.”
“Join the club,” she commented. Trinity sipped on her water to keep herself quiet, looking away innocently. She didn't say it to be bitchy but point out that he knew how hard it was to keep anger caged.
Wes shifted away slightly motioning to her. “By the way, I don't know if you have met. But this is my...” Trinity perked up a little. She'd love to know what she was of his. But Wes seemed to have second thoughts with a laugh. “Trinity. Trinity, this is Iliana. I met her the other day when I befriended a rabbit.”
Trinity smirked and lowered her head. “Of course you did,” she muttered. She tried not to be too taunting in front of his new friend but couldn't help herself. “He's a modern-day Disney Princess. We actually met similarly. Post minotaur taming.” She smiled. Wes certainly had no story that started with a salad.
Trinity snapped herself out of her reflection and fondness for how they developed. She held out a hand to Iliana. The girl looked a bit breakable and timid and Trinity knew she didn't have the most friendly vibes, particularly next to Wes. “I promise I'll be gentle.” Trinity winked playfully gesturing to her hand.
Wes sat by her. “How have you been enjoying the party?” Trinity wasn't watching Wes but no doubt the question was directed towards Iliana as they had not long come out of the closet together. “Hoping to get your chance in the closet?”
She grunted but sat up straighter looking to Iliana. Majority of the camp wanted to get in the closet, and half of those attendees wanted it to be with her....Wes. Protective and territorial as she was, Iliana didn't seem like an Eve so she was at ease as she could be regarding the subject.
“So what's with the secret code messaging?” Trinity nodded to Iliana's tablet. “Are you sick?” she asked, without any snark or sarcasm. It wouldn't be a bad idea when somebody came down with a flu or laryngitis to type their messages to everyone.
“Which God or Goddess do you belong to by the way? As a warning, the minute I know, I'll start questioning how your powers can be used for war.” She laughed to herself while her company may find it less endearing and humourous. If that were to be the case, she'd ditch the water and return to the beers.
She stifled a yawn behind her hand feeling the exhaustion catch up to her. She hadn't slept well last night. Even when she was about to retire for the night, she'd rather it not end so dull and with another speech (or letter) of how violence wasn't the answer. Trinity was tolerant of Liam because he was blood but this Iliana wasn't.
