Markus had simply rolled his eyes and sighed at the comment that Lucian made. He strolled over and hoisted Lucian to his feet and helped him into the bathroom. He sat him down as he started the water and made sure it wasn't too hot or cold for Lucian, and helped him in. Markus made sure that Lucian had all the privacy one would need, as well as making sure that his wound was treated and cleaned properly. After the bath he gave Lucian some warm clean clothes to get into, as well as getting some pain medication and helped him up into the room. After making sure that Lucian was okay and fell asleep, Markus took a shower for himself and finally went to bed, leaving the apartment a mess until morning. Markus fell asleep on the couch again, and when he woke up the sun was already in its midday position, meaning it was already well passed noon. He groaned as he woke up, slowly sitting up and rubbed his eyes. Everything hurt, but he didn't care. He downed two more pain killers and once the pain medication kicked in he started making breakfast for the two of them. Once everything was done he put it all on a small tray and carried it up into the stairwell and then into the loft that lead into his room. Lucian was still asleep, which wasn't too surprising to him considering what he had been through that past night.
He sat the tray down on the table next to the bed and gently nudged Lucian's arm. He had food ready for them, as well as a cup of warm coffee with two pills on the side for Lucian to take when he woke up. Something to help keep him warm, as well as wake him up a bit was something he knew Lucian would probably appreciate. He knew he'd have to get something later that day that Lucian likes, he'd have to ask him. But now they just needed to get some food and collect themselves. "Luc?" he asked softly, making sure to not talk too loudly, the last thing he'd want is to make Lucian's headache worsen, knowing full well by now that Lucian usually woke up with a headache.
