Falcon looked around the embassy with a single glance, her eyes flitting over all the objects only once before her gaze returned to M'Kama's back, where they had remained for most of the duration of the last several days. The more time M'Kama spent with Falcon, the stranger she seemed. He'd never seen her sleep or eat, and she'd never removed her mask. When he'd looked at her, she always seemed to be watching him, her golden eyes never blinking, and a small smile always upon her lips.

M'Kama would have found this more unnerving if it hadn't been for not only his instincts but his cards telling him that his new companion was not a threat. Perhaps she was actually just part bird... stranger things had happened.
