Price grinned at Arubak, shaking his head slightly as he chuckled. "I understand fully well how things work here on The Rock, but I believe 'compensation' is a poor choice of word for what I intended to offer. Compensation implies a one time deal, an immediate exchange of one thing for another. What I had in mind was actually more long term."

There was a pause as Price reached into his jacket pocket, and shortly after produced something small and metallic in his hand. It appeared to be a small, strange mechanical part of some sort, but it was a golden color, perhaps made of brass. On it was an inscription of a logo and a name; Price Industries.

"You see Mr. Arubak, I am, or rather was, an industrialist by trade. Made machine parts, ship parts, weapon parts, and some of the finest steel to ever be used in the galaxy. For various reasons, my business is no longer in operation, and I have been self-exiled here to The Rock. When I came here, I didn't expect much except to survive. But then I came across your little community, and it proved to be just what I needed to help me out with this favor I have."

Price leaned forward in his seat, fingers brought together in front of his lips as his elbows rested on his knees. "What I need is quite simple, just a bit of 'laundry', you see? I need to be able to lose a copious amount of money here at your casinos, and then shortly afterwards win it back, preferably in different currencies from what I lost. And, well to be fair it won't be me winning back the money, but some of my old employees. To make a long story short, they've been very loyal to me, and this is, for them, essentially severance pay. My way of rewarding them for their years of loyal employment."

Leaning back once more, Price pointed to the mechanical piece now on Arubak's desk. "And that there is what I am referring to when I speak of something more 'long term'. I don't know what happened during the battle outside of the town, but evidently things are becoming quite dangerous on The Rock right now. What I'm offering you is a way to find yourself a little safer, and perhaps a little richer. I want to start a factory here, producing machine parts, the best steel you'll ever see on this planet, and weapons to better protect the city. Anything you don't use for yourself or the city? We can sell it to other parts of the planet, making quite a tidy income. And I want to do this as partners Mr. Arubak."
