|| Countdown to X Day|| Sound Horizon ||
Ophelia ate quietly with Alice at her side and Sonata seemed a little pacified as well thanks to that. Cal had went off an abandoned them to go socialize with the fae guards, but if he was having fun Ophie supposed she didn't mind. It was better than a depressed Calciferous or a discouraged Calciferous after all. Was he doign the right thing by befriending the fae folk? Ophie didn't know, but angels always did look down on the fae. They were flighty, they could never be trusted, they weren't the type to honor agreements or contracts. They were controlled by emotion and whim, they were simply too different from the civilized structure of living that angels were used to. At least Alice seemed to like the sandwiches.
"Hopefully soon she'll leave." Sonata made a dirty expression, and shook her head. Baron Pierce suddenly called out to the three Baronlings that they needed to go out and collect points. Ophelia nodded, having had an itching feeling in the back of her stomach the whole time about that. She and Sonata were still at zero after having been defeated by Feodth thanks to his benefactor's drugs. Calciferous was doing okay though, having a good amount at 22 points. "We haven't gone out as the three of us in a while!" Calciferus seemed excited. "Let's get ready and go, there's points to be gained for all three of us!" He rushed the girls as they finished their sandwiched and were almost dragged away from the picnic mat by him. Would Alice be okay with just Pierce to keep her out of the fae's clutches? Ophie only hoped Monaka didn't have a plan to trick Pierce and steal Alice away.
Together the there Baronlings went about a tour of Amiens, trying to do as many good deeds as possible. Ophie's wings hurt from having to save so many kittens from climbing trees, and Cal was always happy to help old ladies cross dangerous streets. Sonata simply spend hours reorganizing books in the local library, making sure it was all in good proper order according to the Dewey Decimal System. Once the sun turned orange and overcast, evening was about to begin. "Let's head back. We some points today." Sonata said, flashing them her tag, which read eight points. "I have seven." Ophie added, hoping it would be enough for this week. "You two should cheer up. It's not often you get to meet fae." Cal had a bit of a grin on his face.
"But she-" He shook his head with a smile. "Everyone makes mistakes. I'm sure Monaka didn't know what kind of person Baron King Messiah was when she made the deal with him." Ophie shook her head, her wings tense against her back. "It's not a simple mistake, Cal. I think she genuinely doesn't care much about Alice at all." Her eyes narrowed, a crimson glow coming from the irises. "She never considered Alice's opinion, even once." "I don't like her seducing Pierce." Sonata grumbled, upset. She saw the hearts and didn't like what she saw. "C'mon, it's not that bad. Let's go back to Amiens now, okay?" Cal had a big grin, wanting Ophie and Sonata to be happier, like they used to be.
