|| Countdown to X Day|| Sound Horizon ||
Occasus went to go complain to Baron Pierce about the treatment and safety of animals in his territory, and in the meantime Ophelia was made to sit next to her friends - if angels had such. There was a sudden pain in her chest, a pulsating. Something was wrong, but she didn't know what. What was this feeling? She never felt it before. Was this what her brother was talking about? Was Laertes in danger somewhere? She sure hoped that that wasn't the case. "Bye." She said curtly to Fae Queen Monaka as she made her leave, but didn't pay much attention to her. She pulled at the throbbing pain on her double ringed halo. It was pulsating. "What the heck, is that your halo?" She nodded grimly, staring up at it. "It has two rings, because I'm an Angel Knight." A class higher than the average knight, but not an archangel like the Angeal family, who had triple rings.
The pulsing only got more painful as Alice asked her a question that made everything made sense. Celeste? Every angel knew Celeste. Some demons knew of her too, but only demons who were around in the Tower Society during the war two hundred years ago. "Ce-Celeste? On a beach today?" She gulped, her heart pounding in her chest, trying to break out of her ribcage. "Where? Beach? Which beach?" She gripped Alice, terror in her eyes. Why would Queen Celty be here? Why would she go to Earth? Was something wrong, did something awful happen? "W-hey. Calm down a little, Ophie." Cal said with a chuckle. "I'm sure it's just-" He didn't know, he wasn't one of the ones in the inner circle who was informed.
"Alice, you have to tell me where she is. Please, this is important." Queen Celeste, in her broken mental state after losing her wife and lover, Queen Kitra, coming down to a demon-infested Earth. There weren't many demons around who were as kind and wonderful as the ones here in Amiens. Even Anguis and Ayna turned into decent guests, though eventually even they would have to return home to Hungary with one another. "Because that's-" She fell silent. She couldn't say it, she didn't want to say it. She didn't want to tell these demons and the fae that the most important person, the Queen of Hell and angel of Heaven, was down on Earth. She needed to go to her. She could feel every cell in her blood screaming at her to go to Celeste right now.
Sonata put an arm on her shoulder, frowning. "Whatever it is, I'm sure it can wait until after tomorrow." Sonata's voice was oddly gentle. "Remember, we need to rest early tonight to be on time for the tea party tomorrow." The tea party where Baronling Feodth would be eliminated from the running, yes, that was important, but not as important as making sure Celeste was okay. "I have... to find her." Ophelia said quietly, her red eyes glowing as she made her halo invisible again. "As soon as the tea party ends I'll go get her."
