The gate to the Untouchable Tier loomed before their eyes. While the Gate of Hope guarded the way to the Blossom Tier, the Gate of Fortune was what laid between the Untouchable Tier and the Blossom Tier. It was gilded with silver and gold, and shone in the evening sky's light. The Gate Knights saluted Heron as she approached the gate, Aya a stuffed animal in her arms. "Knight Captain Heron, what brings you here?" The Gate Knights asked, though one looked a bit similar. "I'm making this girl my squire, Mitchy, but keep it quiet." Heron bore a sly grin. "She'll be my little surprise for King Azel." Mitchy stared dubiously at Aya. "That little girl, a squire?" Heron nodded excitedly. "She'll be a diamond in the rough, I just gotta polish her up a bit!"

Aya still didn't know why Heron saw any potential in her. She was just a useless squid that no one cared about. She wasn't even able to make her house a happy one, was she? "Here, this is where you'll be staying until you heal up." Heron said, taking her through the Untouchable Tier to a backalley estate hidden away from plain view. "I'll make sure to call Corren so he can come take a look at you. Make sure you heal up quick so I can start training you, alright?" What could she possibly accomplish? "Aya's a bad girl, Aya's not good for this." She couldn't even move her arms, let alone hold a sword. "Trust me, anyone trained by Heron Cherubim, the Fang of Ashia, will definitely become great." What made her so confident? Even as she slammed the door open and quickly kicked the door shut, revealing Itward and Cress on the other side, every move Heron made was with confidence and purpose.

"I'm gonna get Corren to take a look at Aya. Her father messed her up pretty bad." Aya was placed on a couch and she winced, the movement hurting a little bit. Her limbs wouldn't work. Itward was here, was he going to hurt her again? Was this all a trap? Itward moved his hand towards her face but she flinched and looked away trembling. "I was just brushing your hair out of your eyes." He muttered, scowling down at her. She was still afraid of him after what he did to her. He turned her into less than human after destroying her secret treasure. A girl without a secret treasure can never make a good family, that was obvious for all to see.

Aya made a face at Itward then decided to try to ignore him and look at Cress instead. Heron had already run off on her own somewhere, no doubt she was called back to the Palace for some reason. ""Hello, Cress! Aya is here!" Was Cress being hurt by Itward? Did he stil lwant information? "Mr. Cherubim, don't hurt Cress anymore, you can hurt Aya instead." He shook his head. "I'm not going to hurt you, you don't have any useful information anymore." His holophone went off. It was most likely Princess Narisia, wasn't it? "I have to take this." He said after looking at the caller and went to another room.

"Can Aya be Cress's knight?" The squid asked. "Even if Aya is broken like this?"
