Celeste was sitting in her guest room when Ophelia came bounding in, seeming panicked. "Leave? Already? But I just got here?" She drummed her fingers against her thigh in thought. "I don't want to go back," Celeste whispered. "They just... treat me different." She shook her head, "but if King Messiah is after me, I guess I don't have a choice." She stood, taking off her pajamas and putting on her dress. "Ophie," Celeste placed her hands lightly on Ophelia's shoulders. "I'm taking Echo with me. I want you to bring that little girl, okay?" Celeste had been able to sense it in her of course, they all could now that Alice's powers had awoken. "I want to prove to my brothers that I can do this much at least. Promise me, you'll bring her, okay?" If Messiah got his hands on an Oracle, he would be impossible to take down.
Alice was shaking, she was afraid. She had never had someoen intercept a vision before, she didn't like it. "I don't want them anymore," Alice whimpered, it was clear that she was upset. That was one emotion she had no trouble with. "It's alright," Baron Pierce attempted to reassure her, but if Messiah had his own Seer that could intercept visions,t hey would need to figure out how to stop him. "Maybe... wave length?" Echo suggested. "I don't know about all of this seeing stuff, but maybe you can tune it so Messiah's Seer can't operate on your frequency?" Alice sniffled, wiping her eyes. "She doesn't know what that means," Cal pointed out. Alice had never seen a radio before, much less knew how frequencies worked.
"We're going to try and keep it from happening again, don't worry." Baron Pierce attempted to soothe Alice's worries. Her stomach growled, she was hungry. "Why don't we get you some breakfast? I think we could all do with some food." They were relying on Ophie to convince Celeste to return to Heaven. "Does that mean Ophie is gonna leave us too?" Sonata asked, clearly worried. Everything was going downhill so fast. "Unfortunately, I think Ophelia will have to leave for the time being, for the sake of our safety." Baron Pierce did not want to have to leave everything behind, he would simply have to prove his loyalty to Messiah once more. He placed Alice in her seat, she was still stressed from her experience in her vision.
"Try to eat something," Sonata said softly, "okay?" Alice nodded, picking up her fork. "Okay," she said quietly, not releasing her grip on Dog as she stabbed her eggs with a fork. She wanted to eat, but her stomach was flip flopping, she felt as though something bad was going to happen. Alice swallowed hard and reached for her juice. "You don't think he's going to come here, do you?" She asked worriedly, not wanting to see Baron Pierce again. "No, I'll go to him, don't worry." Baron Pierce tried to assure her, but Alice was still afraid.
