As Aya drifted in and out of consciousness and wakefulness, Heron and Corren were hard at work trying to fix her up. The Mend-X would be able to fix her arms, but the problem with her legs were specifically in her hips, her pelvic bone was partially collapsed so it would have to be replaced. Corren used special imaging technology to send back to the labs. "I'll make a replica of her pelvis and I'll have to come back at a later date to do the replacement operation." He was only a medical student though, but he had enough experience in the field to be at least know how to do things, guided with books and manuals and advice from other doctors who weren't as charitable.

He did as much as he could and then decided that was enough for now. "Once I have the replacement hip ready, I'll come back." Her rib was mending for now using a special compressor that she would have to wear that would insert temporary machines to help mend the cartilage connecting the rib to the spine, and her arms - specifically around the shoulders - were healed up using Mend-X's cream. "What a mess." Heron shook her head, displeased by all of this. "She won't be able to walk for now, so tell her to just rest up and recover her strength once she wakes up." The crimson knight nodded with a grin. "She's a cute girl, I'm sure she'll be obedient for us." Once Corren left, Heron decided that she had a brilliant idea.

"Cress, let's go and do something fun! We can enjoy a great night on the town." The crimson knight washed her hands after moving Aya to the sofa where she would sleep for now. Itward needed to return to his mansion because Nio was still waiting there, and they didn't want to alert this building to the Queen or anything. Was it bad for a knight to be working with people conspiring against the Queen? She made a knightly vow to serve Queen Narina when she finished her training and was knighted. But with how pretty Cress was, how could anyone say no to the little spitfire of a princess, the exact opposite of elegant Nee, who acted like a winter breeze, cold and brittle.

There was a place was a beautiful view that Heron wanted to show to Cress. She never saw Lake Asphodel yet, right, with it's glimmering surface like a crystal, or it's layer of mist that rested atop the water's edge? "Let's go, it's a beautiful night, almost as beautiful as you, princess." Itward made a disapproving tut, but Heron took Cress by the arm, taking her to the wonderful outside. Crickets were singing, the moon was gleaming overhead. Heron lead Cress through the town until they found a set of silver stairs rising upwards. "This is the Silver Pavilion. It's my favorite place in all of Ashia." Heron grinned, pointing to the view of Lake Asphodel, breathtaking even now.

After letting Cress enjoy the sight, it was time to take her back to the house before she returned to her flat and had to get ready for work. On the way back she heard stray gossip. "Did you hear? Apparently Princess Narisia was taken in for emergency care! Someone stabbed her!" She heard someone say. "I heard she was killed!" Another gossiping woman whispered in a gaggle. "What?" Heron stiffened, did something happen to the Princess? "Killed? Tell me what happened!" But as she yelled the two gossiping women rushed off, startled by the sudden Knight's exclamation.
