|| Fight Song|| Rachel Platten ||
Here, they were here. Alice heared their voices, they were just outside. "What's wrong?" Yui asked, assuming it was a problem with something else. "M-my family," Alice whispered, hugging Yui's arm. "You have a family?" She asked excitedly. It seemed that they had arrived. "Ari!" Yui ran to her, happy that her family was home. Alice could hear their voices in the hallway, she wanted to see them, but her legs were shaking. It seemed all of Yui's family was here, as well as part of Alice's. "We don't want to fight you," Cal said cautiously, his hand resting casually on his sword. Alice wanted to go home, she wanted to be with them, but Aria was suddenly blocking their path. "Yui, take Alice to the other room." Ronan said gently.
"Home, I want to go home." Alice said quietly, her hands balling into fists. "It's okay," Yui said softly, taking Alice away, as promised. "You'll go home, I'm sure Ari and Ronan just want to talk to them." Talk with their fists, Alice thought as Yui took her to the bedroom once more. Someone was waiting for them, "Leo, when did you get here?" Yui took Alice to the bed, the two of them sitting down. "I came for your three month checkup, but I guess you made a friend along the way that needs a checkup too." He frowned, "I've never treated a faerie before." He said contemplatively, "But I guess it can't be that different from a human." He listened to Alice's lungs, noticing the sound right away. "It sounds like there's fluid collected in there, don't worry, with a course of penicillin, it'll go away quickly and you'll feel much better."
She blinked up at him, uncertain as to what that meant. "Don't worry, you're going to be just fine." Leo pat her head, Alice clutching the toy dog that Yui called Ronan. "Penicillin is a natural antibiotic, so I think with your faerie body, that would work best." She nodded, she didn't know what that meant, but if he was a doctor, he probably knew what was best. "Do you think I could get a little bit of blood to confirm what I think it might be?" Alice nodded, holding out her arm. She had learned a long time ago that resisting was futile. "Wow, take note Yui, I wish you were this obedient." Yui stuck out her tongue in response, watching warily. "Wow, your blood glitters like mine!" Yui got a bit too close, recoiling when Leo swatted a hand at her.
In the other room, there was yelling, Alice didn't know what was happening, but she was hungry. "Alright Yui, your turn," she recoiled, blanching. "Don't worry," Leo assured her, "no needles." She stuck her tongue out, but unbuttoned her nightgown, Alice taking a peak. her skin was shiny, almost unnaturally show. "I call it ena," Yui swung her legs, noticing that Alice was watching. "I can breathe underwater with it." Alice's eyes widened. "You're a mermaid?" She asked quietly, still holding onto the dog. "No," Yui shook her head. "Just a light bearer," she smiled, but Alice had no idea what that meant.
