It seemed that Winter wasn't a fan of old horror movies, which was where Elise's roots were from. She was a quite emotionless little girl before being taken in by his father, so it made sense why they cast her in those kinds of roles. She branched out more after going under Jeralt's wing, though, and up until the explosion, continued to improve as an actress. There were many who grieved as the Black Eagle pulled out of public life, retreating from all eyes and ears. It was odd how destiny worked though. So Winter Matsuri had been involved in the terrorist attack four years ago as well? "Well, I'm glad you survived then." He said, unsure how to feel about this development. "And now we can be friends!" Claude was good at making "friends", but he wasn't very good at making friends. He was well liked and popular, but tended to keep people at a distance at school.
As Vincent drove them up the gladed hill and the gate opened, Claude remembered something from earlier. "Wait, wasn't there something you wanted to ask me before I interrupted you?" He asked with a little frown. It wouldn't do to talk over a potential friend this early in the friendship, that's a good way to scare someone away. As usual Claude went in, Vincent looked as if he wanted to help Winter walk - and Cynthia was very much delighted. "How do you keep knowing when Winter's coming?" Claude asked as his mother cheerfully greeted Winter as if she belonged here as well. "Oh, I have Vincent tell me so I can make sure I'm putting my my best face for you!" He grinned, twitching a little. "You don't have to do that, mother." Cynthia chuckled and then invited Winter to stay for dinner again, if she would be permitted to.
Elise was as disagreeable as always, but that was nothing new. Claude pulled her out of her room. "L-let me get dressed at least! You big clod, Claude!" He sighed, shaking his head. "It's fine, it'll only be a practice run, it doesn't matter if you're dressed up or not." She scowled, grinding her teeth as she clung to the big cow plush, nearly as big as Claude's torso. "A-at least do my makeup a bit." She wasn't going to get to hide behind Mr. Stuffles this time, so she wanted a little makeup done to hide her ugly scars that no longer existed, but no psychologist or anyone was able to convince her that the plastic surgery was a success.
After Claude did a little makeup to satiate his troublesome half sister, he handed out the speeches to introduce the Triangle Identities Calculator, as Elise so lovingly coined the product. "Here, I organized it so that I'll start it, Elise will have a small part in the middle, and Winter will be the strong finish we need." Claude said, showing them the marks he made to signify who would speak what. There needed to be a little adjusting here and there to make the script fit the slide show. "U-um... is the slide show ready... for the practice?" Elise asked, fiddling with her fingers in a nervous tic.
