The day had rushed by for Lilian, stressed as she was, and before she knew it the time had come for her to gather up her costume and head out. After putting on her under layer, she bundled her helmet, jacket, armor, and tools into her arms and headed to the garage. A black luxury car was waiting for her, with a modified autopilot system in it, one of her pet projects. She opened the trunk and tossed her bundle inside before getting into the driver's seat. The garage door opened and the car began to drive itself to the nearest coffee shop; it was going to be a long night.

The car slowed to a stop in a dark parking lot, several security cameras were positioned so that they could see the entire lot, and Lilian used them to make sure no one was watching her. She got out of the car, retrieving her bundle from the trunk and putting on her costume. Most of the outfit looked like it could have been worn by anyone on a cold day, long pants and a heavy peacoat that almost reached to her knees. The only thing that stood out was her helmet, which she hoped the normals would mistake for a motorcycle helmet.

It was much quieter out here, but not quite silent; the buzz of dense activity had faded as Lilian got further out of town. It was an outrage really, to think that she had to come all this way because someone had the audacity to blackmail her; the fact left a bad taste in her mouth. Her began car drive away to its next destination, and with a heavy sigh, Lilian wiped the camera feed for the past hour and started making her way to the warehouse.

She had briefly contemplated having a drone survey the area before arrival but dismissed the notion as excessive. From what she'd heard there were others she knew that would also be here, and that should have been insurance enough. Worst case scenario, she had brought along a handheld laser capable of a few different functions, and a stun grenade. Her original plan was to bring a gun, which seemed obvious, but the chances of accidentally hitting the wrong person made her rethink that. The quicker she was, the less likely someone would see her and have unsavory questions for her, and with that thought in mind, she quickened her pace. The fence around the warehouse had fallen away in places, and Lilian chose a decent sized hole to sneak through.

A few friends were supposed to be here tonight and Lilian hoped to find a friendly face before this whole fiasco went down. Though hidden by her mask, a small frown crossed her face, "Assuming they even decided to come..." Her voice came out weirdly modulated by her helmet, echoing quietly off the walls of the abandoned warehouse.
