Trisstana wasn’t sure what to make of this woman, there was something familiar about her, but wasn’t sure exactly. She grabbed the rest of her stuff as the woman talked, introducing herself as Zada, and a mermaid. Though Triss let out a slight chuckle when this Zada talked about not seeing ‘another like her’ in a long time, along with the quick smile that the mermaid then tried to hide, it was cute. Being mistaken for a mermaid wasn’t a rare occasion, but it still made her laugh whenever it happened. Though she was curious about a mermaid being inland too much.
As Triss got to Zada she slowly circled her, examining her. Triss hadn’t met a mermaid before and was little intrigued about her, though at the moment she looked like a normal human. She could tell there was something magical about her, a bit of an aura that seemed to want to pull Triss in, though if she was being honest she wasn’t sure if that feeling was from her being a mermaid or because of her natural beauty and attractiveness.
“Hmm. Havn’t met a mermaid before, let alone one so…” Trisstana trailed off as she ended up back in front of the mermaid. “Oh sorry, don’t usually spend time talking to beings, need to work on my manners.” She said as she held out her hand. “Name’s Trisstana, Trisstana Glasser. And I’m not a mermaid, I’m a nixie. Sort of like your freshwater cousins.” Triss smiled as she introduced herself. It was nice for once to be greeted a being who wasn’t immediately feared of her or hostile, especially someone that would understand her like a mermaid
“Anyways, I’ll porbably head into whatever town is here; pick up a few things, drag a meal into the water, maybe spend the night. Is there somewhere for me to stay? Possibly with a slighlty large bathtub?” Triss talked as the two headed towards the town, Zada leading. Though she was surprised to hear that this town was actually Greythorne. “Wait, like the Greythorne? I thought this town was being attacked.” She was a little upset hearing it was Greythorne though, meaning less of a chance of her feeding on an actual living being.
