Serafina felt like her body was on fire and at this point, she didn't have a clue how to react. Her mind was buzzing and it felt like it was going to explode as it couldn't keep up with all the activity within her body, but with a sharp intake of breath managed to push her legs forward.
With the mention of a hospital, Serafina quickly looks up at Akiyo and shakes her head. A hospital would not do her any good and rather more questions would arise which she didn't have the time nor energy for. Serafina had only used the hospital as an excuse to the man she had met earlier as a way to explain her situation but by no means was she going there. As she opened her mouth to reply, the cuts on her back were starting to burn causing her to releases a quiet groan.
Is this what every Angel experiences when they fall? she thought to herself because this is not what I expected.
Slowing down Serafina forced herself to straighten up and come to a halt. Looking at Akiyo she gave a small smile, she must be curious enough to help me, that or just she was a lot kinder than she had first imagined.
"So here's the thing, I can't go to a hospital..." Serafina glanced over at the people walking past who seemed to not really care about the two women. "Its complicated and I much rather just handle this discreetly if I can." As she bit her lip she sighed, adding "If I knew this was going to happen I would have worn a combination of purple and green".
Hoping Akiyo was getting what she was implying, she felt herself getting more and more lightheaded. "This bleeding thing really is annoying, how do you guys handle it,"she mumbled under her breath.
Shaking her head to herself, she sighed at the thought of having to learn all about being human rather than simply observing them from above. "I'm Serafina by the way, nice to finally meet you," she finally answered.
