Lana smiled, the Aelfdene family as the town's only fae family were always helping out when it came to anything related to Mother Nature. She decided last minute that some flowers would be a good gift to send to the Bussard siblings alongside whatever Seraphina was going to bake. Lana quickly decided on a bouquet of white cut flowers, including lilies, white roses and orchids to symbolise sympathy. Although she wanted to pay for them, the florist laughed and shook her head, not charging her as a form of thank you for the help.
With the bouquet in her arms, she walked only a few doors down to the bakery, immediately being hit by the smell of fresh bread and pastries. It doesn't hurt to get a few treats right?
As she quickly grabbed the baking goods that her sister asked for, she leaned down to look at the display that carried all sorts of pastries and baked goods, wondering which few to get. "They all look so good, I need to come into town more," she said quietly to herself.
Lana's head was up in the cloud as she was struggling on what to pick when a husky voice next to her spoke up, making her jump a little. As she turned to face the voice, she felt herself getting goosebumps on her arms and took a step backwards. If her memory was as good as it she thinks it was, the man behind the voice was none other than Tristan Bussard, and he was asking advice for what to get for his sister, Micaela.
A few moments passed as Lana's head was filled with messy and disorganised thoughts on how to go about the situation. She felt anxious that was for sure, but only because he was human and she had a negative physical reaction towards them.
"Oh well, is she a fan of sweet things?" She motioned towards the chocolate croissants, "They do really good fruit tarts here as well which she might like?"
