E V E L I N A KLIMA
The air wasn’t too cold for Eve, she was used to the cold, often having her heat on a lower setting in the winter so she could say money on utilities. “It’s fine. You’re not going off on some prepared script, you’re being yourself. It’s nice.” Evelina said, trying to reassure Jeff. And she wasn;t lying. She despised guys who came up with a whole schitch about her being an alt girl and dyed hair with them acting super tough and manly. It put her off dating for a while, but with Jeff it felt natural and not like he was trying to be someone he wasn’t
Eve sighed a bit when he asked her if she had any siblings. “Yeah, two brothers, older. But they live with my parents and run the family business with them. I was supposed to too,” Eve paused for a second, laughing quietly to herself as she said tutu, “Oh, but I wanted space so I moved out. Little bit of freedom at the cost of, well, rent.” She missed her family a bit and would visit often, but genuinely enjoyed living on her own, her only issue being able to afford food and rent, even with two jobs.
Evelina almost tripped over Jeffrey as he stopped and took off her jacket. She was about to ask what was going on when she realized he was laying down his jacket for her. “Oh, thanks.” She said with a smile as she slowly sat down on the jacket, legs crossed. Eve just looked up and stared at the sky, it was like something she’s only seen in movies and TV shows; bright moon, and many bright stars illuminating the night sky. She always thought it was played up for effects, but it looked just like it now in front of her eyes.
Eve was brought out of her focus of just staring when Jeff spoke up, pointing out the north star, but calling it something else. She also followed his finger and saw the ursa minor and ursa major. “Hmm. I thought the north star was part of the big dipper, where’s that at?” Evelina asked, but then blushing as Jeff told her the ursa major was the big dipper, and the ursa minor was the little dipper, feeling a little stupid. “Oh! Where's pisces? That’s my sign I think, March 10th.” She quickly asked.
After showing her more and more constellations, even pointing out a planet, Eve was really enjoying herself with Jeff. Her head was resting on his shoulder as the two of them were staring upward both laying down completely, Eve’s back still on his jacket that was acting as a blanket. She turned her slightly and faced Jeff for a moment, thinking of something that was probably stupid, but she didn’t really care, this whole thing probably seemed stupid. “Hey Jeff?” Evelina said in a light whisper to get his attention to turn towards her. When he turned his head, she paused for a moment and then leaned in and kissed him on the lips, just for a second before pulling back. “Was that okay?” She asked, but then went in again kissing a bit more deeply this time.
