Lu Cai doubted that himself, that he would be a good King. Having been kept away from the politics, he felt like a fish on the land. Dragon in his mind patted his head and simply pointed at something that he had been figuring out on his own for years. If politics was truly of how he had been treated by fellow royals and others, then he would be very good in this. The hidden cunning side of him wasn't afraid of games, and Lu Cai somehow knew that his good nature was going to be used in one way or another in the near future - even if it was for Lu ZhenXi's pranks, it was still a training of sorts. At least Little Lu had said that to him once - ZhenXi was doing all of this to sharpen Gege Cai's fangs and it was probably working.
"Who are talking to you?" He questioned, then quickly added while washing Rou's visible skin with different kind of medicine and spring water, plus from time to time switching the cloth on Rou's forehead. "If ZhenXi managed to pull some kind of magical trick on you to go mad, I will do a lot more to him than just kick his ass..."
Visibly pouting, of course over the fact that his precious Rou Rou was feeling weak and was sick, Lu Cai suddenly heard Rou's words and blushed darkly as soon as he realized what the other one had just said. He himself had forgotten the kissing insident earlier as per request, and forgetting even about the request, he didn't know what to say as Cai was sober now.
"I doubt it, Rou Rou," he muttered to himself, still continiuing to tend to his friend.
