As Leo stared out the windows of the ship, his mind began to wander as he did not find himself occupied with anything at the moment...Memories of his childhood...Now those were some sweet memories...He gave a soft sigh as he gazed into the clouds. "Man...I still remember the time I got interested in cooking because of my mother...Now that was an interesting experience." He laughed to himself as his head wandered back to when he was but a child...And when parts of his body was not mechanical...

It was a warm summer day, he could remember it like yesterday. Although his love for engineering was already strong at this time his passion for cooking was ignited at that time. He was sitting around the table, and his mother was making some toast they had finally obtained after waiting patiently for the moment to harvest crops and turn the...'wheat' into bread and finally it was being cooked into toast on a pan.
The smell of butter filled the air as Leo waited with bated breath at the table while his father was watching the Holo-vision set and watching the news. Soon enough three sets of plates arrived from his smiling mother. "Everyone's favorite toast! Enjoy!" She exclaimed happily as Leo's eyes sparkled, marveling the toast. Buttery looking, nice and toasted no doubt capable of producing an audible crunch once one bit into it...The food of the breakfast gods...And he was finally going to eat this legendary food!
The little Leo picked up his toast with his hands, the smell of the toast getting stronger...Nirvana was within his grasp and he bit into it...However the mood entirely changed as the sparkling eyed boy looked disappointed. "Its burned...You have failed the breakfast gods mom..." Little Leo stated as his mothers rosy attitude immediately changed as she gritted her teeth and suddenly stood up and grabbed Leo's toast and shoved it in his mouth. "It's been 5 years since I last cooked toast! We don't waste in this house anyways! If you don't like my cooking then cook yourself and lets see if you have it easier Leo!" She stated as Leo was struggling with burnt toast in his mouth...
And it was from that day Leo vowed to never upset his mother, and to become a better cook than her...

"Ship command to Leo...You awake in that head of yours?" The sound of Qiqi caught his attention as he was pulled from his thoughts. "Sorry about that Miss Qiqi...I was absorbed in my thoughts about the past. Do you need me to meet with more people?" He nervously scratched the back of his head as he had just ignored his manager absorbed in his thoughts. "Well at least you apologized. No, if you're absorbed in your thoughts to the point that me calling out to you did not register what I said, you should retire for the day. We have a day of training and appointments tomorrow so I need you at your best for the week to come. Come on." She dragged him onto his feet as he nodded.
"Thanks Qiqi...I should sleep indeed. Long day tomorrow so I'm going to put my 110% into it. I'll see you in the morning at your office or...When you fetch me..." Leo pondered as Qiqi spoke up. "Meet me in my office tomorrow. You know the way by now." She replied as she walked off.
Yeah...A good night's rest seemed like a good idea. He would soon leave the bustle of the party and head to his room. There he undressed from the fancy clothing he wore and folded them before flopping on his new soft bed...Sleep came quickly due to this.
