Snippet #2818775

located in Jefferson, a part of Small World Life, one of the many universes on RPG.

You stand at the entrance into Jefferson, a road leading off of the freeway. You hear a car go by as you take in the scent of the wind which rustles the nearby bushes.

Ace stepped out of the faded yellow cab lightly, facing her old hometown Jefferson. She had asked to be dropped off where the freeway segwayed into the main road, thinking the air would help calm her nerves. The driver had agreed- barely anyone left or entered town around this time of year, anyways. The roads were empty as the sunset bathed her in golden light. Her hair flew wildly though restrained in its ponytail, her face cooled by the mid-winter breeze. The beige coat and grey turtleneck she was wearing kept her warm as she walked into town. Suddenly, something landed on Ace's nose. It melted on contact, but its peers drifted down softly, gathering as fluffy white snow. Ace took a moment to capture this scene. Despite this being a common occurrence in the city which she lived in, it was rare around Jefferson. Behind her, the taxi rumbled and drove away. She closed her eyes and smiled, letting out a little chuckle. It was good to be back home.
