The walk from the apartment to the stakeout point wasn't all that terrible, nearly just a few minutes spent walking throughout the darker lit parts of town. Erin keeping her eyes on Markus as he walked a few feet away from her, keeping distance and acting as if they didn't know each other. Keeping suspicions down was priority number one. Something that they both agreed upon, when it was time to work on a mission, they both took it equally serious as the other. Once they finally arrived to the area that Lucian had give them coordinates to, it was simply the waiting game.
Thankfully, not even fifteen minutes later after arriving, they both got a text at the same time alerting them it was safe to make their way inside the building. Looking across the way, Erin nodded in Markus' direction. Even within the shadows, she knew where he was. A smirk came over her face for a moment, and the two worked in perfect sync as they vaulted over a tall fence that outlined the outer-walls. Getting inside wasn't as difficault as one would have expected, after tampering with the key-pad for a short few minutes, Erin had managed to get the back-door to unlock with a small click and the door opened. The both of them slipping inside undetected.
Silently, Erin stood inside one of the hallways, right arm raised next to her head as indication to Markus to wait and listen. The hallways were entirely silent. Too silent. Even after hours, this place seemed all too quiet, and she didn't like it. Erin slowly turned her head to look at Markus who was barely two feet away from her, and immediately on que, she saw someone come around the corner down the hallway. Within seconds, Erin reached into one of her boots, and sent a throwing knife directly into the security guard's neck, his body collapsing to the floor with a soft thud, and watched as a pool of blood began to puddle around him. "Well, that wasn't pleasant..." she muttered softly, looking at Markus for a moment. Her eyes scanning him over. Even with the mask on, she could tell he was nervous. "Don't worry, pretty boy. We got this. Let's just go get your boyfriend, huh?" she jeered, before turning around and headed off int he opposite direction to meet Lucian in the lobby.
Rounding one of the corners, Erin skidded to a hault, the sound of her boots screeching across the floors. "Evening, gentlemen-", Erin chuckled awkwardly as two large security guards had been rounding the same corner as her. The larger one on the left quickly went to grapple her, which Erin easily dodged out of the way as she side-stepped pushing off against the wall. The other went immediately for his gun by his side, which gave Erin enough time to use her leverage as she pushed off with her legs, projecting herself enough into the air as her feet pushed from the wall, to wrap her legs around his neck and brought his body down with her's. Hearing a satisfying crunch as his body hit the ground. Erin had looked up just in time to see the other security guard being brought down to the ground as shadows encompassed his head and upper torso.
"Always coming to save the day, huh Hero-Boy?" she chuckled, accepting Markus' hand as he helped her back to her feet. Playfully patting him on the shoulder, "Let's go find our boy, hm?" she motioned her with head as they made their way down the hallways, making sure to be careful as they made their way to the lobby. A few short minutes later, they found themselves entering a room that opened up more than the others. Lucian entering the room shortly after they did. "Yeah no shit, sherlock. Could have used the heads up before I immediately put a knife into one of their necks." she retorted. Erin sighed a bit, re-adjusting her plane black mask after a moment, "So, what exactly are we looking for here?"

Staking out the place had seemed to go by faster than normal. Whether it was because Markus knew he had someone he could rely on, or just because it didn't take very long for Lucian to message them. He wasn't sure, but it was nice to be working alongside someone he had hoped to meet up with again, after so long. Part of him felt like it was like old times all over again, but another part of him couldn't help but feel guilty, seeing as what happened last time they were together. But he didn't want to focus on that now, it wasn't why they were here. They had a mission to do after all.
Markus followed behind Erin as she made her way over the fence, and shortly made her way into the building. Finding them both in some kind of corridor, must gave been a way of keeping whatever they had, further inside the building. Which was what they needed. He rolled his eyes as he tried to think of where to even begin. That was until he saw Erin throwing a knife to their right, seeing as a guard rounded the corner. "Yeah I-Wait what?" his eyebrows furrowed in confusion, as he automatically thought she was asking if he was okay. It took him a moment to register what she said, "He's not my-Hey wait for me!" he called out as he quickened his pace to catch up to her as she rounded off a corner suddenly.
The next thing Markus knew, was Erin taking down one guard, and another practically falling ontop of him. Markus pushed him off, and reflexively sent a covering of shadows over the mans upper-torso, quickly incapacitating him soon after. He looked at Erin with a worried expression on his face, even with the mask on, he'd know she'd be able to understand his worry. "It's what I do best." he retorted back, helping her to her feet and the two were quickly off once more looking for the lobby to meet Lucian.
Shortly after, they found the lobby and Markus found himself sighing with relief as Lucian entered the room shortly after they did. "We're good. Took out a few guards on the way in." reconfirming Erin's first statement. "Think it's simply to find anything at all, really. Any proof or direction of their plans at this point would help, than anything else. If we can gain a leg up on them, then we'll be more than fine." Markus stated plainly. Looking at Lucian once more, "The further we stay ahead of them, the better our chances are for us." he said softly, thinking to himself for a moment. All they needed was something, anything at all at this point would help them and they were growing desperate. And as much as Markus didn't like to focus on that, he knew they all knew that at this point.
