She was lost in thought about how she’d do just that when she realized Sayaka had stopped speaking. Layla stayed silent for about a minute to think. She of course had to respond. She wouldn't let Sayaka think she cowed her. A smirk slowly appeared on Layla’s face as she stared down at Sayaka. Amusement twinkled in her eyes.
“You poor little thing, I think I get it now,” she paused to tilt her head in question, “Are you obsessed with me? Is that why you know all the gossip that involves me? Is it why you keep up with even my current love life? Are you mean to Chiyo because I spend time with her instead of you? They do call jealousy the green-eyed monster. Are you a monster because you are jealous? I would say you could join the Supernatural Club to spend time with me, but you’d need to beg to join. Before even that though, you’d need to beg Chiyo for forgiveness...on your hands and knees and everything, maybe a few tears to show you mean it.”
At the thought of Chiyo, she remembered the main issue still remained. She still did not have Hoshi. It did not seem as if Sayaka would be giving Hoshi back either. Most importantly, it seemed the threat of going after Dosei was no good or Sayaka was trying to make it seem that way. The bully gave her another idea about how she could threaten Dosei. Expulsion. She had more to say first though.
“You should know, I don’t need to meet Dosei's standards to give him a day he will never forget. He could even refuse, and that is fine. I have never forced and never would force anyone to be with me. I’d be please if Dosei was never with you though, which I could make happen. I could tell him all the awful things you do to Chiyo, and if he doesn’t care, you two deserve each other,” she said with a shrug. She crossed her arms now as her smirk grew.
“Although, I’d still be unhappy with that result. If you really insist on not giving Hoshi back and leaving Chiyo alone, let me ask you something,” she paused for the potential of dramatic effect.
“How would you feel if Dosei was expelled because of your actions?” she asked, keeping her voice to a whisper now. Layla wouldn’t bother to tell Sayaka that Yuudai was really why her first Night Class crush was expelled. It was hard to change people’s minds about what they already believed. It was harder to make others believe that you didn't do something as well. Although, if pushed, she could work with Yuudai to get Dosei expelled. She was a person who always tried to keep her word.
