Gamble closed his eyes as Darius spoke, sensing the feelings of failure on the demon's words, a frown coming to his features. He felt a great pull to simply rush forward and give assurances that everything was fine, that there are nothing to apologize for... But he resisted the urge and took a deep breath, trying hard to speak in a firm yet caring tone, that way he imagined a Master ought to sound... How successful he was however, he was unsure.
"Darius... You can't be with me every minute of ever day... If I fall over in the street and you aren't there to stop me, would that be a failure as well? No, of course not... I know that you wa-" He swiftly corrected himself. "-That your duty is to protect and guard me, and I'm thankful for that... And if there is ever a time when I'm worried something bad will happen, then I will call for you... Alright?" -c-
