Lucretia walked up to the bouncer, pulling her coat tighter around her. It was raining. It was always raining here. The streets lights had been smashed long ago, the only light the flashing of the "Nox Macabre" sign above the door in bright pink neon. The streets stunk of blood and human waste.

"Lucretia," he greeted, looking down at her through beedy eyes. Duke was large - not fat, just large and looming. Tall, big shoulders, wide hips, and thick skin. He was smoking good ol' tabacco, the cigarette dangling between beefy lips.

"Duke," she said, smiling softly, but not meeting his eyes. He grinned, flashing fang, and stepped aside so she could go in.

"Such a good girl," he praised, patting her on the head. "So submissive," he continued, chuckling darkly. She ignored him, walking into the club. The Holy Item check girl didn't even glance at her as she was busy dealing with the customers.

Lucretia went into the locker rooms, hanging her coat up and putting her gun, knife, and shoes away. She smiled, giddy, and walked into the club, wondering who her first customer of the day would be. Lucretia was a bloodwhore for Nox Mortem; she served the vampyre customers fresh blood on demand - straight from her body. But she was hoping today would be her lucky day, that she might find a Master willing to take her in.
