As she stepped inside the camp boundaries, she automatically ran her hand through her short, multicolored hair. Dark blue eyes studied the area around her as she walked, and she paused as she noticed blood on the ground. Her shoulders were starting to hurt from carrying her backpack, but she ignored the feeling.
"Hello?" She called, trying to get someone's attention.
She nervously played with her tongue piercing as she waited for a response.
"Calm down, Jay... They're probably just off hanging out or at class or something," she consoled herself quietly.
Jay wandered around and came to a half-circle of cabins. There seemed to be a few people here, and she walked closer to them silently, like a cat stalking it's prey.
"Hallo, I'm new here. My name's Jay," she didn't realize that she had said 'hello' in German, but she did realize that she would probably startle them with her silent approach.
