Vampires…. Trantor was ambivalent about this corp, the internally named, VRS group. A large cruiser had been floating, as representatives flew on a chopper, heading to the company. “Interesting…” the man said, his face looking at the cloud cover, as he asked her “Tell me, when was VRS a big power…” the man inquired the pilot, the rest of his team in states of sleep, from the long journey to the world.
“From a while back, when we were in the intervention period, sir,” the pilot, an android responded, “Our mission is to offer our services and weapons to the Hunters, as according to reports, they plan on eliminating excessive vampire based activity.”
“Ha,” the man said, his voice full of contempt “They really think they can do this, but this must be supported, they sent our cruiser out here…” He thought of the incident, his memories clear…
“Sir, we have borders… they hijacked the diplomatic vessel!” The cries of the intern were clear, “Why didn’t the cyborgs notice this!” the man shouted, as his console shorted out, and lights went into emergency mode, dimming the command area, “They infected them! Marines can’t handle this, we aren’t a warship, and the nearest ship is hours away…” The man pulled out a shotgun, saying, “Then we fight until they get here. Let’s move out!”
As he returned from the memory, the man shighed, looking for a pack of his stimulants. They were no where to be found. His stimulants were one of the few things that he could rely on, but they weren't in his jacket.. “Vampires…” he said, “Cursed dead….”
Estimated time of arrival is twenty minuets, sir,” the android said, “Anything else..” she said ,her sensors canning an increased tension. “Nothing else, just take us there,, these clouds are creeping me out…" The first chopper, and several other escorting craft flew in the air, the sound of the flying machine clear to anyone in a ship. If they looked closer, they would notice human sized flyers, flying alongside the chopper. The eternal pursuit of profit was never to be stopped, for that was the way of Trantor.
