He nods, ignoring her having taken the sand timers. They were nothing but clocks, and replacements that tell the same thing would apparently grow back at the Chamber of Fate.
Although, he felt terribly guilty for bringing it up.
"A true Dark..." he kicked that one around in his head for a minute. "I guess I underestimated just how strong the twin bond is... I look at that man and see the same devotion to his sister as the bond between parent and child."
Her last words make him nod. "Defending people is part of the job I've been doing for my whole life. I've made my obligations. All that's left is to put them to action."
This brings a grin to his face, his mind back in business. "First thing we need to do is get a safe house. Neither of our apartments are safe anymore, and that bar sure as hell ain't any better." ”
