Harry was sitting at his bed, posting some images he had just finished the night before. He liked drawing on his computer, so much so that his parents had bought all of his digital art stuff. It was nice of them, but really it was probably more of an encouragement to go into fashion design, like his mother. Harry wasn't interested into that. He was more of a comic artist himself. He was a bit clueless when it came to fashion styles and trends. In fact, his friends are the ones who pick out most of his clothes in the first place.

There was a knock at his door. "Come in!" Harry called out. The door opened, letting in his mother, who was dressed in her usual slim blue work outfit, and his father, who had on his business suit. As usual.

"Harry, there someting we need talk to you." The mother said in a heavy chinese accent. Both parents were immigrants, so chinese was their first language.

Sitting up on his bed and setting aside his computer Harry gave his full attention. "What is it?" He asked.

"This may come as shock to you." The mother began. "Before you were born, your father and I met with the other parents of your friends. We all agree, and say that you all marry with each other."

Harry sat there, shocked. "Wh-what?!"

"But that good, right?" His father interrupted. "You all close friends, no problem for you right?"

"That's...that's not the point dad!" Harry protested. "Why didn't you tell us this earlier!? Do the others know?!"

"Well, we all talk, and decided now is good time. About now your friends should find out." The mother explained. "It seem, you need time to think about..."

"Wait! Who is it? Who did you marry me with?" Harry asked.

The father thought about it. "Ahh, who was it...was it Jessica?"

"No, no! Annabeth you!" The mother snapped. "Will this be problem?"

"Well...I mean, this...why?!"

"Why? Why because we want good blood in family only." She replied simply. "This good for you, you friends with Anna for long time, so I see no problem." She went on, walking around the room. "Plus, we give you good things, you live in good house because of us. Why this one thing you won't do?"

There it was. The guilt trip. Harry's mother was infamous for that. "I-I didn't say..." The mother, saying she had an appointment, simply told him to think about it and left the room with her husband. Think about it...? What bothered Harry the most, wasn't the secrets the parents kept. It wasn't the complete disregard of his feelings or his say in the situation. It wasn't even the fact that it was most likely his mother that pushed this arrangement, since she was a very strong traditionalist. No, what bothered him was that he was going to marry, without telling anyone the one thing he couldn't tell even his closest friends, not knowing what anyone else would think. Harry was homosexual.
