Chris blinked as he listened to his friend's babbling talk as he ran for it. Chris looked horrified when he finally managed to decipher that the men were trying to kill him.

His mind immediately sparked into action. "Malcolm! Right through them, stay with Nobbs! Take him to the hotel!"

Malcolm didn't even acknowledge his master as he bolted through the men knocking them over. (He's with you for now, you have control of Malcolm)

Chris strode over quickly to the still recovering men and put his walking stick to the throat of the best dressed man.

Chris spoke in his most menacing voice, it usually didn't work, but when two prongs are digging into your throat with even a child towering above you, it became quite effective. "Speak now, speak quick, and pray I like what I hear. Nobbs said you were trying to kill him. Explain!" he barked out.

The finely dressed lord explained of the contraption while his men slowly circled around them. "Stay your hand or your master dies."

He turned back to the lord.

"Idiot! You should have tested his skills with machines or hired a partner for him. Your loss is the result of your own brazen incompetence." He stepped away from the man and the others circled in. With a flash of his stick he touched the end to a metal pole next to him leaving scorch marks on it's surface.

"You can try me if you want, but I guarantee, you won't walk away from it."

He watched them silently.
