Here are the specializations available, also known as classes if you're more comfortable in referring them in that light. I've restructured how they worked, rewriting some of them to incorporate changes that were made when I dropped a number of specializations from the original.

Combat Engineer
The Combat Engineer specializes in defensive fortifications and demolitions, and a majority of Combat Engineers recommend shotguns over other weapons as their personal weapon. Each is armed with the knowledge and equipment to set up sentry guns and barricades to fortify positions, fire rockets out of his suit, and lay down traps and explosives.

Covert Marksman
The Covert Marksman undergoes extra training with their DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle), each rifle custom built with the operative's strengths in mind. They are trained to be more accurate than the average operative and thus, capable of pinpointing weakpoints on a targeted hostile. Their suit is designed with advanced stealth technology allowing the operative to appear invisible to the naked eye while idle and moving, but their forte is the capability to fire Mono-molecular Wire shots (MWS) to deal incredible injury to hostiles.

Crowd Control
Those who opt in for crowd control often have equipment suited to take on multiple hostiles at once, such as flamethrowers or light machine guns, and extremely rarely, specialized melee weapons. They focus on support and excel at area defense and thanks to the use of their specialized equipment, which grants them and/or the team bonuses when they are set up. However, due to their short-mid range weapons, they are generally lack any reliable form of weapon to engage long-range enemies, making them best suited for tight quarters such as choke points.

Demolitions
The primary mission of the Demolitions expert is to blow shit up. He is responsible for advanced demolitions and the use of his multipurpose rocket launcher (MRL), which is used in conjunction with his AEGIS suit.

Field Medic
This specialization focuses on making sure their squad is physically fit for their job, keeping them healthy and stable, and curing any advanced injuries or wounds. By using top-tier equipment, the Field Medic can heal most types of ailment as well as "reviving" fallen comrades.

Heavy Ordnance
The Heavy Ordnance focuses on maintaining a wall of firepower. Nicknamed "Ogres" by their fellow soldiers, they're often viewed as a walking tank, providing heavy fire for his team to take out medium to large targets. He specializes in the deployment of his Blast-Field Gun (BFG), which delivers massive amounts of power and has a large damage radius around targets to make up for the weapon's slow firing and reload speeds.
