Stella the Naga(Open)

Stella lounged lazily in the large tree on a branch as she watched the jungle’s floor. Her topaz eyes scanned the floor carefully. Her black pupils resembled slits. She noticed mice run from bush to bush trying to avoid vicious predators. Soft laughs escaped her lips when she saw a hawk dive in and catch a mouse. She closed her eyes as clouds moved away and the sun hit her golden skin. A smile appeared on her rosy cupid lips. She opened her eyes when she heard a tree branch crack from the ground. Stella glanced down and saw a tiger walk by the tree. She stayed silent and still as it walked by. The last thing she needed was to get in a fight with a tiger. Stella waited until it was safe before she uncurled her tail from around the thick branch.

Just above her bottom and crotch was where her tail began. It was the tail of a snake. It went from smooth skin to smooth scales. She had covered her tail in aloe earlier that day as it was shedding. The aloe helped with the itchiness. Her golden tail was turning into a red, white, and black multicolored one. ‘I need more aloe,’ she mused as she came down from the tree. Stella slithered over to a raging river that ran through center of the jungle. There were aloe trees all around the river. She slithered up the tree as she wrapped around the trunk. Next she ripped a few green aloe leafs off and slithered down the tree. She sat on the wild grass with her tail spread out in front of her. She hummed to herself as she squeezed the aloe gel out into her hand. She rubbed the gel all over her tail.

She did this until she had a thick layer of the gel covering each and every scale. The irritating itching subsided for now. She coiled underneath her as she sat up straight. Next she leaned over the river and cupped water into her hands. After she took sips from her hand. Stella tucked a loose strain of her silver hair behind her ear after she hydrated herself. Her hair was very curly and the tips of it touched her hips. She had her hair braided into two tight braids against her skull. She tied each braid a black ribbons when the braid reached the top of her nape. The hair after the ribbon was loose and in front of her to covered her breast.

Quickly, but thoroughly she washed her face and upper body. There was no point in cleaning her tail until she had finished shedding. Stella placed the remaining aloe leafs under her left arm. She licked her lips with her black pointed tongue as she slithered back to her cave. Her cave resided behind a raging rocky waterfall. ‘Hmm, I wonder if I should eat some fish today…’ she mused. She looked at her black pointed claws as other thoughts began to enter her mind. Stella may not have looked like she was very aware of her surroundings, but she was. Her eyes would glance around barely now and then. Though, she mostly just listened to all of the sounds around her. Including, she took deep breathes to get a good sense of everything around her.
