The city blurred by as Shawn looked in the rear-view mirror. His opponent was right behind him, trying to pass him up. Shawn pulled into the next gear and the car jerked forward. His opponent pulled out in front of him from the side. Coming up from behind him, Shawn began drafting his opponent and when he change position, he made his move. Shawn put the mustang into last gear and lifted a glass lid. He quickly pushed the red button and his car jolted forward. Passing his opponent, Shawn pulled into first, as they crossed the finish line. The other race cursed as Shawn got out of the car. He saw his uncle by a car. Walking over there, Shawn noticed three men walking over to his uncle. His uncle looked at the first man and said something. The third man punched him and the second man grabbed him and pushed him in the car. "Hey!" Shawn began running to the direction of the car. "Hey, Cops!" Shawn stopped and saw the red and blue lights over the horizon. Shawn ran for his car but as he neared the car, a cop pulled up beside it. Shawn dove over his hood and ran in a new direction. Shawn ran into the alley and climbed up on the roof, by the fire escape. The cars drove below him, with no acknowledgment of him. He had evaded but lost his money. And his car.
