His complexion is quite fair - he doesnât tan well due to his heritage, rather, he burns no matter what he does to try to prevent just that. His hair is an oddly bright color of red, but not too much so that it could be considered an unnatural color of hair. It is some what curly, and long enough to go a little past his ears. As for his eyes, theyâre what could be considered an âice-yâ blue color. All of these characteristics come together quite nicely, as he is thought to be a very handsome man. He has a certain rugged look to him that some women just find irresistible. Tanzerâs body type is certainly interesting; He has a certain amount of bulk to him but due to his height his muscle distribution he doesnât look as muscular as he actually is.
Character History - Tanzer is the son of the Renowned Christof Schöpfung - a revolutionary scientist who helped in the development of various personal troopers. Unfortunately for Tanzer, the man was a raving alcoholic. Shortly after Tanzer was born, Christof got quite drunk and changed his name from Franz Schöpfung to Tanzer Zerstören... which, much to Tanzerâs misfortune, means âDancer To Destroyâ. His father thought it was hilarious, but later regretted it (but did nothing to change it back). Tanzer hasnât bothered to change it back him self, but plans to one day.
Regardless, Tanzer grew up around P.Ts all of his life. He even began helping his father test them at the tender age of thirteen, despite how dangerous it was. But he was confident that his fatherâs machines would be fine, and luckily for him, they were. Tanzer quickly became quite a good pilot, and upon trying to enter the military received perfect results on his exams. Once discovering this, he changed his mind about actually going through with joining.
This was probably the best decision he could have possibly made.
He and his father began to create various P.T.s together, which were never released out side of them. Many of them were scrapped for being what his father would call ânutzlos ScheiĂeâ regardless to how powerful the machine it self was. Many great things were destroyed just for not living up to Christofâs expectations.
Until he got his hands on a Gespenst MK-II. This would become Christofâs final creation, and his masterpiece before his unfortunate death.
Tanzer took the machine his father and him self made, and named it the Gespenst MK-II BLITZ
Route - US Route, at least for the moment. Tanzer wanders quite a bit.
Mech:
Name: Gespenst MK-II BLITZ
Height: 22.3 Meters
Weight: 78.1 tons
Piloting Method: Direct Motion System
Appearance: I am GOD AWFUL at describing parts of a mech unless I do it one piece at a time. So, youâll have to tolerate this.
Head Piece: Your typical Gespenst head, except this one is pure black. Around the visor part of the mech, golden, out lining it completely and making a small design around it which looks quite nice. The gold moves up making a spike in the forehead on the mech, and onto the bits of âearsâ of the mech, if you would call them that.
Torso/Shoulder Peices: The shoulder peices of this mech are black, blue, and gold. For the most part, it is blue in the center and bottom, with black lining the top of that, and gold just over that as a nice lining. The torso of the mech has a similar pattern, except is mostly black with bits of blue on the side which are outlined by the gold. There is the family crest on the chest of the P.T. it self. Attached to the torso is a black cape, capable of absorbing quite a bit of damage. When the cape absorbs an attack, it captures some of the energy. This, however, is incredibly hard to do and the cape ends up mostly being an aesthetic feature of the mech.
Arms: The arms of the mech are, again, mostly black. The blue which was on the shoulder part continues down a little and into the fore arm, surrounded by gold as it fades into the black. On each hand there are three plasma stakes used for the famous âJet Magnumâ attack.
Legs: Has practically the same pattern as the arms.
Weaponry/attacks -
Vulcans: This model of the Gespenst has weak, but useful vulcans attached to itâs helmet. Itâs one of the only distance attacks the mech has, being able to penetrate armor just enough to be able to cause substantial amounts of damage when hit with other attacks.
Reinforced Hands/âBlack Knucklesâ: The âBlack Knucklesâ basically allow the mech to use melee combat with itâs hands only, being reinforced enough so that they take practically no damage from being used as a weapon. Using the Direct Motion system that the mech has installed, it allows Tanzer to truly take advantage of the mechâs movement abilities.
Reinforced Boots/âBlack Bootsâ: The leg and boot parts of his mech have also be reinforced to allow maximal damage output in close combat. Using these, it does not handicap the mechâs ability to move in future combat unless it has come in contact with either a incredibly powerful shield, or a practically impenetrable metal. Fortunately, there are ways around this...
Jet Magnum/Double Jet Magnum: The Plasma stakes are charged and set, allowing them to be used as an unbelievably powerful and effective attack at close ranged combat. Unlike other Gespenst models, this one has plasma stakes on both hands, and is able to use it on both hands for maximum damage. These are also custom stakes, but Tanzer is not entirely sure of their full power - more research must be done on his part to understand his fatherâs work.
Gespenst Kick: An attack that is capable of dealing enormous damage. It is similar to the Jet Magnum as how it is executed: Energy being charged throughout the leg parts of the mech. However, the difference is quite obvious when damage is being looked at. Plus, the attack is amazingly hard to pull off.
Plasma Blast: The Plasma stakes create enough energy together to create a beam attack. While it is not amazingly powerful, it certainly outclasses most beam waepons a Gespenst will be able to wield. It drains considerable amounts of energy from the mech, though.
Gespenst Blitz: One of the attacks that truly makes this Gespenst stand out; The Gespenst Blitz. It is a series of charged attacks, finally ending with both plasma stakes creating the Plasma Blast previously stated. The fact is, this attack will completely drain any remaining energy in the P.T., making it absolutely useless in battle. It is a desperation measure, that can even cause the machine to self destruct.
Defensive capabilities -
Torso: The torso of the mech is slightly bulkier, but is covered with a very weak energy shield, allowing it to take a little more damage when it is getting to that close range necessary. And with it being a melee P.T., the plating on it is stronger for that very purpose.
Prototype Energy Cape: As stated before, the cape CAN be used to absorb energy based attacks. But it is incredibly difficult to do. The cape it self has several holes and tears in it as to where the ability failed.
Speed Thrusters: Adding to the weight of the mech (as well as the general size of it), it was given extra speed thrusters to allow it to go faster in battle.
Tesla Drive: Unlike other Gespenst models, this one has a built in Tesla Drive that was specially made to allow it to have average flight combat capabilities.
T-Link System: Why this was included, Tanzer doesnât know. It seems to be disabled, and is a secondary system.
Direct Motion System: The abilities that the Direct Motion system gives Tanzer allows him to take advantage of his own combat abilities, and gives him the ability to react immediately to attacks he sees. Everything he could need is easily accessed by saying a voice command. (Such as âStatusâ will give him damage and energy levels remaining.) Also, using this system requires him to say certain commands when he wants to use attacks.
