Jacques continued walking down the hallway, to see a guard releasing a prisoner. He was shocked- rarely were people thrown in jail released alive. Even more shocked was he when he saw the old man from the pub- his elven eyes shifted into infravision. And what he saw was the furry cat boy as well. Gripping his key tightly, which he believed was a simple good luck charm, he snuck up upon the old man.

"What the hell is going on in here?" He asked, half hoping the old man wouldn't have a heart attack at the undetected elf coming upon him, and half-hoping he would. Jacques was an ass like that.

Things had become much more complicated in the half-minute he had been in the dungeon. Jacques began to wish he had never wanted to go into this keep in the first place.

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Raigi on Tue Aug 07, 2007 1:31 am

Raigi's eyes brightened when his cell door clicked open, Zanos had helped him. Finally a break in this bad luck! He exited the cell and brushed himself off, stretching and then looking over to isafos cell. "It looks like I'll need a uniform too....can I use the keys to unlock this persons cell as well? He was caught too and I don't want to leave him to the mercy of mortals." He said in a concerned tone at least until jaques snuck up behind them and spoke. He bounced about a foot back his tail puffed out in suprise. It was the elf from before, the one the angel was after! Could that mean that the angel was going to be following him soon?

Raigi was a bit nervous about this, he'd managed to escape Duran, an angel, and now prison somehow unscathed buthe didn't want to have to do it again. He held his hand out for the keys hoping Zanos generosity would be lasting. It'd likely make him trust the older dorai more as well.

Zanos watched Raigi look over into the other cell, when a truely terrorfiying thing happened to Zanos. A voice came from behind him, so suddenly, and so unexpectedly, that Zanos's feeble mind went to panic so fast, he passed out. Zanos slammed onto the ground, a small bit of drool already hanging from his mouth. In his dream, he was in his early years, as a boy once again. He remembered the strangeness of the world around him, he remembered his fasination with mind control, he also remembered Juliea. Juliea was the closest thing Zanos had had as a lover, Zanos had been to bed with many women, but none of them he loved. Juliea was always happy, and always smiling her glorious smile. Once Zanos reached age 14 though, everything changed, his life turned upside-down, his eyes covered with flames, his body burned like a sun, he felt death grab around him, his life was over...Then, the event which Zanos had dreamt about for the rest of his life happened, and he would never be the same again...but that was the past. Sweat broke out along Zanos's unconsious brow, small utterings of screams, and hidden moans were slightly audible...
Sanity is just a limitation

"friends of yours?" he asked the free Durai, gesturing to the unconcious man on the floor and the elf standing behind him.

As he outstretched his hand Zanos slammed into the floor unconcious. He tilted his head to the side and thought the older Dorai may have been playing dead again but he couldn't be sure so he didn't jump to conclusions. He looked back to isafos and nodded his head before taking the keys and sifting through them, unlocking isafos' door. "Yes...well I think..." He said timidly as he tried his best to hoist Zanos onto his back with minimal success. He was tired from they days escape attempts.

He looked up to the elf feeling bad for having ignored his question for several moments. "Ahm...we kind of got caught by the guards here and ahm....my friend here was helping us out of this little....situation." He replied to the thief as he tried again to get zanos on his back, finally succeeding in piggy backing him but now he had no way of defending himself without dropping zanos.

"well we need to get out." he said, walking out of the cell and glancing around, just in case of Guards. "I think I can remember the way out." he said. "we'll need uniforms if we're gonna get out."

"Just my luck. Stuck with some prison escapees. Well..... it's not like we can go the way I came from... the guards are all blocking the back entrance now that they heard something." He wasn't about to admit the fact he had stolen a VERY valuable item from one of the Lord's chambers. "Besides... you won't catch me in that armor any day." He laughed, looking at the other Dorai who had left the other cell. "Three Dorai? My luck just gets worse by the minute." He thought a moment. "If we can get the old man to wake up." He stopped, laughing at the unconscious fellow. "Then we could have him 'escort' us somewhere, find an excuse to escort us off of the keep grounds and then we could make an escape. That's only if you trust the words of a thief." Jacques smirked. He truly believed he was too smart for his own good.

Raigi had considered Jaques idea but he still had something he needed from the keep, he wanted they key that the humans had taken, to protect it himself before Duran came to claim it for his own. He sighed heavily and replied to the theif. "I don't see what you would gain by lying to us but this older man and I have come here for something and we can't quite leave that easily without it....well...I can't anyway." He replied quietly. "I don't know if either of you want to help us in attaining this item but it'd be nice to have a little help and there may be an escape route on the way." He was hopeful they'd want to join up with him and Zanos but didn't count on it, at least for the thief.

"if it gets me out of here, i'll do anything." he said. he was desperate to get out. if he was captured again, he'd be tortured and killed. obviously, he'd like to avoid that if at all possible.

OOC: Well, I'm not sure if there is a true "villain" yet, but Jacques is the kind of character who you'll never know of his motives. Hope to keep you guys guessing. ;]

Oh, and you got a name mix-up, Raigi. Aldos? xD
---------------------------

Whatever he needs better not be that chalice. Jacques thought wryly. He had came here to steal something and if he had to give that away he would have gone through all this nonsense for nothing.

"Hmmm..." Jacques mumbled, scratching his chin. He enjoyed playing with people. And if pretending to think hard about something would do it, then Jacques would act. "Why not? As long as something is in it for me, of course." And with that, Jacques made an extravagant bow. He smirked once more.

ooc: Yep haha, IM RP I've been doing for a while tried to crossover into this, stupid brain.

Raigi scratched the back of his head in some confusion, what could he possibly offer Jaques? Well...there was something...even if it wasn't his. "Well....you are a thief...there's likely to be something of value close to what I'm seeking...maybe you could take that?" He put the idea forth with caution, it was the only thing he could possibly offer to Jaques but it wasn't even guaranteed. It would be up to the thief if he wanted to try and follow the bunch.

"Glad to have you along sir." He said to the other man that just wanted his freedom. With some effort set zanos onto the floor and proped him up before channeling some mana through his body causing him to breath heavily and sweat with exertion. Ice cold water started to trickle from his palms and he put them on either side of Zanos face trying to rouse him out of his unwanted slumber. This was the first time he'd used the gift since he left his home and the amulet made it possible for him to control mana flow well enough to combine both an ice and water spell.

Name: Ari Lev
Age: 38
Race: Sprite - Dorai (Lion / Human)
Description: Long golden hair, just past his shoulders, with a long golden beard. He has red and black robes that he wears. His eyes too, are golden. He can see just as good in the Dark, as he can in the light. His natural ability for cunning he has found unmatched through the years. He longs for something, something he doesn't even know yet. He he's very tall, around 7'0. His body is muscular, but flexible in the way of a Martial Arts Master. His preferred weapon, one that he carries with him, is a Trident spear. If he is found without it, he is a master of Martial arts, many styles, his favorite, Drunken style. So along with his Trident, his natural Lion strength allows his arms and legs to be weapons too. He has an uncanny ability to take on multiple enemies.

He has tracked the keys. Most of which, he already knew where they were. Imprisoned, only because he knew there were people with Keys there, it was time for him to follow them, and perhaps join, or take the keys, pending on their reaction to him.

--

Ari easily forced a guard to free him. As one walked by, he outstretched his arm and began to choke him. In his low growl like voice he told the guard to release him, or die. The guard at first, didn't comply, which only forced Ari to tighten his hold and whisper yet again to the gaurd. "Even if I kill you, I can just take the key, so just release me." The guard realized this to be true. He unlocked the cell.

Ari walked out of the cell, taking the keys with him, and pushing the guard in there. As he started to walk down, he used the tracks left by the key bearers to tell where they went. He then sensed the use of mana being used, and ran into that direction. He saw the one using it, and made his approach quiet. "Hello?" He said to Raigi.

IC: Zanos was burning, his skin peeling off its body, his eyes bubbled, and his organs ignited. The never-ending torment of the curse called life beckoned to him once more. The flames died out, his enitire body fixed itself quickly ((this is a "dream" after all)) and a cool chill took over his surroundings. Zanos slowly opened his eyes, realizing where the chill had come from, he glanced at the hands, and looked back up to Raigi's face.

"Sorry to disapoint you boy, but I enjoy a woman's company...rather than" Zanos looked over at Raigi's right hand." So, if you would be so kind."...

OOC: Sry bout being inactive lately, went camping, had fun, im back in black.

Jacques jumped- it had been ages since he himself had been suprised. He spun around, drawing his claymore, only realizing the man who had approached was no foe, though the Sprite had been able to defeat one of the castle guards without alerting the entire force. Strange indeed. Jacques thought, putting his sword back into it's large sheath. The cat boy seriously has a magnetization for the bizarre.

"My apologies, dear sir." Jacques said, smirking and once more bowing extravagantly. "Jacques, pleased to meet yourself. Which reminds me... what are all of you called?"
So much was happening, as the newly freed prisoner yelled for them to escape and the old man was being awoken by the cat boy. "Maybe we don't have time to discuss matters further."

Sadly his infravision had not picked up the movements of the Angel.

Raigi was relieved to see Zanos starting to awaken, though he barely noticed the new person behind him speaking. He stopped the flow of mana and what Zanos said registered, causing his to frown. "I don't believe your accusation applies here, I was just trying to get you out of your passed out stupor. Unless of course you fancy dank dungeons with little actual light." He replied somewhat irritated by the older dorai's snappy demeanor. He sighed heavily and turned around only to see a very LARGE sprite right in front of him now. His ears went low and tail hit the ground at the sheer size of the creature before him. He gulped and gave a wave to the powerful warrior.

Jaques had put his claymore away so this obviously wasn't a guard which gave Raigi some peace of mind. The angel at this time having broken into a cell much further down the hall, the explosion like more of a low rumble in the way it imploded the matter around it. "Ahm, It is nice to meet you as we--" He was cutoff by The newer prisoner who suggested they escape. It did seem like a good idea but this many prisoners even with Zanos disguised would be taken as suspicious. They would need to get uniforms for themselves as well as possibly split up from eachother.

"Perhaps he's right, I saw what looked like a storage room near the exit of this place...maybe there will be some extra uniforms we can pilfer from it?" He asked curiously, wanting the groups input before running off again. The angel even as powerful as he was would have little chances of defeating this many people at once, the main reason being some were magic users.

"Let's go then!" he said, breaking into a run. he had been taken through the castle only once, but that was enough for him to know where most of the major facilities were. and the exit. he slid into a corner, running down a set of stairs. it would be best if they split up for now. he'd find them again after he got out. he shot down sets of stairs, hiding behind curtains or suits of armor when he needed to, even making a distraction once by knocking over a suit of armor, then running in the opposite direction. soon he was on the ground floor, darting towards the storage room, the two guards who should have been there were now in the throne room. he found a uniform, pulling it on over his own clothing, and heading for an exit.

finally he darted out into a courtyard, climbing up a tree and jumping over the stone walls that kept the enclosed garden from peasants. his agility never seemed to amaze any who witnessed it, but he HAD been brought up in the forest. he hit the ground, quickly withdrawing against the wall to wait for the others, finally free from the claustrophobic castle.

Jacques followed suit.
He had been a fugitive of the law many times before, usually the guards would just give up after a week or so of not being able to catch the nimble thief.
"Stop that acrobat!" A burly, plate armored guard yelled in his direction.
Jacques started running at full speed now- this was the reason why he only wore a small amount of armor.
Drawing his claymore, he expected the worst, but luckily enough for him he had been able to outrun most the guards, though he had to hit the gate guard in the head with the hilt of his blade.
With a grin, he returned his claymore to its sheath, and he climbed over the tall gates, slipping once.
"Damnit, get that bastard!" Came the call of an archer in a tower, firing an arrow that missed.
Jacques was on the run- which he usually was about 80% of the time.
Just another day in the capitol city.

The Celestial being stared Blankly forward as thousands of years of pursuit escaped his currently vacant thoughts, The magical shockwave of the exploding tracker, had not only blown a hole in a solid wall, but sent out a reasounding wave of energy, which had stunned him. Thoughts swirled, coherency just beyond his grasp.
