Styrke could feel a slight pounding in her head as she seemed to wander in blackness. She couldn't quite remember what happened. Why was she just seeing black. She knew that she had lost consciousness, but there was no way to get out of this black hole.

Turion

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Achilles on Mon Feb 19, 2007 12:21 pm

The werewolves attacked more vigorously, though cautiously. Turion's more independent battle mode kicked in. He now was fighting at high speed. Nine wolves were now dead and the one was unconscious. -Come on just stop, you are not going to beat me, surly you must know that- Turion thought as he saw the leader observing his troops on the outer ring of the battle.

Shraen

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Achilles on Mon Feb 19, 2007 12:23 pm

Shraen shook his head. This was not working, they would have to retreat and catch them unawares later.
He howled, calling the retreat. He warriors backed off of the attack on the Charger.
"Come." He said and the pack sped away into the trees.

Styrke regained consciousness with a sneeze. shaking her head, she whacked into something. she looked at the thing in her way and groggily realized that it was a shaggy black hoof. blinking, she followed it up where it met with a torso, and , straining her neck, she saw Turion looking down at her.

Turion

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Achilles on Mon Feb 19, 2007 12:33 pm

Turion raised an eyebrow at her. He was sweating slightly so his hair looked damp and spiked out everywhere. His look seemed to say " Sure you can look after yourself, look who just saved your butt." He shook his head before walking over her so she could get up. He started walking through the trees.

Styrke

Feeling more than a wee bit foolish, Styrke rose to her feet and followed, only pausing to pluck her two arrows from their temporary werewolf quivers.

Turion just looked straight ahead when she caught up to him. He took out his pan pipes and started tuning them pointedly.

Styrke

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Vehement_Vengeance on Mon Feb 19, 2007 12:48 pm

Styrke trotted so she was walking next to him. she watched him out of the corner of her eye. he seemed pretty ticked. finally she ventured to say "... Nice weather we have been having...." it was lame, because they had been having fog and rain all week, but she paused in both words and step, to gauge his reaction. he continued to tune that precious panpipe. the silence was deafening.
"umm...... ah... well... " her voice dropped and she muttered something almost inaudibly.

Turion's inner ear freaked out because his hearing was so precise he had to steady him self against the anslaught of dizziness. After a second or two he went back to normal. Glaring at Styrke he calculated the distanced turned and kicked her in the hind quaters.

she stumbled into a particularly wet patch of mud. she continued glaring at him until they stopped to make camp. she vetoed several options until they found a suitable area by a stream. she went upstream a while, leaving him to do whatever, and unhooked her weapons, llay them on the bank, and slipped into the stream, clothes and all.

Turion shrugged as she walked up stream. He grinned to himself as he pulled out of his packs his favorite book of poetry. The title was Elegance of the Mind. He read outloud to himself, the beauty of the poems washed over him.

Styrke

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Vehement_Vengeance on Mon Feb 19, 2007 1:20 pm

when Styrke came back to the camp, damp and carrying her weapons, she was greeted by poetry. having come from a weaqlthy family, she knew good poetry when she heard it. however, chilled by her wet clothes, she was in no mood to discuss it. she rummged in her pack for flint and tinder to start a fire. she pulled it out and attempted to light a pile of logs nearby. the logs started sputtering and smoking since they were damp, so she grumpily put it out. it would not do for the werewolves to find them now.

Turion

Turion finished five poems before he stopped. He sighed deeply and looked at Styrke. She looked somewhat irratable.
"Ya know bathing with your clothes on, considering its almost night time is asking to be cold." He said putting his poetry book away, and walking over to her. He gave her a symphathetic smile.

"You can borrow those until your clothes dry." He said
