History And Lore

The First Era:
Humanity made it's way onto the planet and established itself on the top of the food chain. Where we came from is unknown to many people. Some say we were created and showed up one day, while scientists say that we evolved from lower life forms. Whatever the case, we came and made ourselves known to all other living creatures. Making ourselves the most feared being on the planet, slowly separating ourselves into different groups and wandering off into the land. Yes, that was us, surviving and growing, making society's of our own. The Egyptians, the Greeks, the Romans, and many other races of people that were scattered across the globe. We all had multiple Gods and had our feet planted deep in the soil that was home. One group in particular was deeply rooted in the supernatural side of things, they discovered magic and soon became Shamans, witches, wizards, warlocks, and wiccans. Everyday the magic users, that's what we were, used their abilities without a care in the world and everybody knew of it's existence. This soon led to an outbreak in a series of wars, because people doubted everyone else's gods/god. No matter the reason, war was a way to establish ranks and we used magic to help other's in these wars, whether it be for killing or healing. By the end of the first era, though, many things died down and the society's lived in harmony by trading and treaty's. This is how humanity acted out the first chapter of their lives, but this is just where the story begins.

The Second Era:
Monogamy, a term that no one really knew about because everyone had multiple Gods. Some people believed in one god and these people were pursued, killed, or enslaved for blasphemy Over time, though, the belief in one god slowly became just as prominent as the belief in many. However, the monogamist's banned the belief in magic, saying it was the devils work and anyone who can use it cannot be talked to. This is when we began grouping together with the supernatural and created our own society. How monogamy started was with the birth of a powerful man, many people called him Jesus of Nazareth. He preached about a God, a single god that loved them all and would never turn his back on his beloved children. Everyone depicted this God in a different way and believed the many things that were said about him, but soon polygamy was all but extinct. Later in the years, science came into play and started to replace magic. People were skeptic at first, but they slowly warmed up to the idea of it, thinking that it would change them for the best. This was the second chapter of the humans life that split the world.

The Third Era:
At the beginning of the third era, a revolution sparked between the few people that still used and believed magic, and the people who were determined to destroy it. For the first thirty years of the revolution, neither party talked to each other and there were small outbreaks of skirmishes across the land. For another ten years, the magically gifted humans, and supernatural, integrated their magic with science and created alchemy. With the founding of alchemy, the two sides suddenly went into battle and the humans lost many lives, but so did the supernatural. The humans did not think that the supernatural beings would be able to hold out for as long as they did, many thought they would quickly surrender when they cut off all supplies going into the city. Soon after the end of the revolution, three elderly men came to together and united all people that still believed in magic. Wiping the memories of the humans, so they forget that magic ever existed. The elders and their people travelled to a lone island, only to hide it from the world, they all thought it was for the best. This was the third chapter of humankind when they lost all that would advanced the technology of the world.

The Fourth Era:
The humans are living out their lives like everything is normal, because to them everything is normal. Now on the island of Isis Theta, these magical beings are growing, building, and creating amazing things. These creations are far advanced to that of the rest of the world, yet they still keep hidden. Sometime in this era, a new species of humans were given birth to on the island. These people were called shape shifters, they came from the relation between one of the magic users and a dragon. All types of shapeshifters began to appear on the island, some could turn into all kinds of animals, while others could only turn into one. The ones that could only turn into one type of animal kept some physical properties of their animal, letting all others know. While these people also had the ability to use magic, it wasn't the same as the others. They had a natural affinity for one of the elements, but they didn't choose the element, the element chose them based on their personality. As they grew and changed, so did the element that they could control. This was the fourth chapter of humanity and the first chapter for Isis Theta.

The Fifth Era:
This was the most dark Era for the globe, even for the protected citizens of Isis Theta. A wizard experimented on a man who could turn into a wolf, but the experiment went wrong. It caused the man to be stuck in such a state that he was neither human, nor animal. So the man killed the wizard and left the island to escape what would have happened to him if he had stayed. The magical beings of Isis Theta did not have a name for that man, but the humans did. They began calling him a werewolf and many more began popping up around the world as he had infected them. So in order to eradicate these beasts, the Elders prayed to the god of creation and created a super being, one that was far superior to the werewolves, these beings were called Vampires. These people had their drawbacks, as the elders did not wish for them to be mortal, nor be seen by the human population. With this, the elders made them nocturnal and sensitive to the sunlight, and had it so they aged at a slow rate. The vampires, though, had found a way to make themselves feel somewhat alive, this was by drinking blood. At first the victims were drained of their blood, but they soon learned to control their lust. What they didn't know, was that they were unknowingly turning their victims into one of them, so they grew in numbers. With no more ideas, the elders let the humans take care of the vampires and werewolves, soon both races began evolving. After the incident of the escaped werewolf, the elders appointed a Gate Keeper. The Gate Keeper is an immortal man who is the only one that has the power to let anyone enter or exit the city of Isis Theta. This was the end of the fifth chapter for the world.

The Sixth Era:
This era returned the people back to the way they used to be, for the most part that is. They all fought against one another for power, wealth, and control of the many resources. Not a single human was safe from the tyranny of war and the lust for money. These things attracted a being unlike any other, these were demons. The demons feasted on the humans negative emotions and grew in power, some took over the bodies of humans and gained political positions. Other demons took on a human form and became liars, cheats, murderers, and thieves just so they could satisfy their hunger. With the demons, came the Angels, holy people that had the power to rid the world of all evil and bring peace, but they could not bring peace to all. The reason being that the presence of demons had soon corrupted the feeble minds of the humans, making them perform the most gruesome of tasks. All the while, the invisible city of Isis Theta grew and grew, advancing their technology far beyond that of todays. All the while, two of the elders created their own factions and appointed someone they could trust as the leader. With this, Isis Theta has been in a civil war for the past 5 years, each elder wanting complete control of the city for their own reason. This is just the middle of the sixth chapter, the rest has yet to come.

Religion

This is one of those touchy subjects for mankind. They all believe in a single god, whether it be God, Allah, or Buddha, they are all the same in the eyes of Isis Theta. Now Isis Theta believes in two gods. They depict both as dragons, one being gold and the other being silver. The gold dragon is the god of Life and creation, while the silver dragon is the god of Death and Destruction. Everyone believes that these two Gods watch over them since the beginning of time and they have both been battling each other, using them as their pawns. Do these citizens care about being pawns? No. They find it an honor to serve as the gods pawns, everyone has their own outlook on life and none of them wish to die, but they know that everyone must die eventually.

The Elders

The elders are the oldest people that reside in the city, for they are thousands of years old. They are also the most powerful, for not only can they take away powers from others, but they can also give them. Being able to create beings close to humans and many more things, they are the only people with these capabilities. Now each elder is out to kill the others for control of the city, but each has their own reason for it. One wants to take over the city to keep it hidden, another wants to take over the city to integrate it with the rest of the world, while the last one just wants to take over the world. Now this is all on the outside, this is what everyone in the city knows, but what they don't know is what lies beneath the surface. These three elders are triplets and the god of life and creation gave them their powers, to protect their most holy of races. Now two of the brothers have heard one of their gods speaking to them. One has heard the god of life telling him that in order to survive they must reveal their existence to the rest of the world, while the other brother has heard the god of death telling him that the only way to live is to rid the world of the disease known as humans. The last brother never wavers in his quest to keep the city hidden, for that is what they were charged with ever since they were born.

The Factions

The Grand Brotherhood: A faction group that resides on the island of Isis Theta. A group that is composed of all kinds of species, purebloods and half-breeds alike, they treat each other like family and they don't let bad blood get between them. They believe that they should expose Isis Theta to the rest of the world and reintegrate themselves with the rest of the world. Much of the public agrees with the Brotherhoods way of thinking and wish that this could be made possible. They have been pushed back time and time again when they were just telling people about their views, so they have resorted to a much more aggressive way to get their message across. The elder who founded this faction group is hell-bent on eliminating the founder of the Tyrannical Dominion. Now the type of technology they use is the same as the same as their military, which is of higher quality than the Task Force. A few of the members help out from the safety of their home by using their computers, while others use some sort of communication device.

The Task Force is the islands first line of defense. They are the peace keepers and they make sure that everything is in check. They recruit all kinds species, as they always accept young blood and find that their enthusiasm is just what they need. Now we all know that some officers are corrupt and work for other men, well it's no different in this city. If the officers can make a little extra money to provide for their families, then they are going to do it. Some of the people in the task force just want to be part of something more, but they don't want to be caught and thrown in jail if the factions were to fail. Now the technology used by the Task Force is top of the line and there is no comparison to it. From the weapons that they use, to some sort of power suit that makes navigation around the city much easier, the Task Force is the most advanced outfit on the globe.

The Tyrannical Dominion, if you haven't guessed by now, are the worst of the worst. They wish to take over the city and get everyone to back them once they do, and once that happens, well let's just say it won't be good for the rest of humanity. These people are opposed by all, but the Elder who founded this faction does not care what they do, as long as he is in charge in the end. So these people go to the extremes when it comes to pursuing power, they've assassinated people and stole top of the line weaponry from the Task Force. Now only the privileged of this Mafia are allowed to use power suits, while all of the others had to use what they were given. All of the species are allowed to enter this group, because the more people there are, the more power that they have at their fingertips. This is also the group that corrupts people in the Task Force by placing their own people within them.
