OOC: We'd love more people to join, so go ahead. And you don't need to read ALL of this main post (though it would help!), nor the story, most of the characters would be willing to let you know what has happened if you PM 'em.
The world is large, with two main continents, the larger split into two countries, Vas'Hilld to the south with temperate conditions, and Tundoira with a permafrost. The southern continent is Mologra, home of the great desert and hot springs and many volcanoes. Several chief Islands are Raaf, the deserted ice island, Van'Sinien, the supposedly golden city of the elves, and Fen'Era, the island of Sailors. The world is flat, with the oceans pouring over the edges of the world constantly. Somehow the oceans are always full, though. Many sailors have died trying to see what it looks like off of the edge. None have been successful. The winds are incredibly strong off of the edge of the world so anyone in a flying machine or animal gets blown out of the sky. Maybe the gods do not want the inhabitants of the planet to see off the edge. (( ;] ))

OOC: The map took me about 80 minutes, so I apologize for crappiness.
Towns and Cities info:
Frost Mountain is barren- trolls and giants stalk the entire mountain, and at the top of the mountain is the gate to the Abyssal Realm. Not a good place to hold an army, I'm afraid. Demons and stuff don't like people.
Berz is but just a small hamlet, old man Berz was a general in the great army of the Silver Age, and he lives there with his wife on their farm.
Ure'Baen, the city of thieves. This place is dirty, gross, and just as hostile. It's a cold, slummy city that few enter, let alone live in. Evil characters fit right in. Home to the Black Lotus cult.
Renadel, the quiet village. Home to the Gray family and some other so-called famous families, this town is boring for anyone looking for action.
Vanderville, the Capitol of Vas'Hilld. This city is BIG. In the center is Vander Castle, where the king and the most noble people live, along with the huge yet uncorrupt Vander Army. Vander City is the city outside of it. Filled with noble families and some wealthier peasants, you could buy anything you needed, whether you find it in a Blacksmith's shop or a dark alley. The Mages' Guild is based here as well. Outside of Vander City is the the literal Vanderville. This village is all about the little shops. It also has the Turning Point. This tavern is everyone's last stop before going on a journey.
Bak'Vaen, the melting city. You'll find anyone here- Elves, Halflings, everyone. Home of the most famous bar in the world, the Rude Wolf. Much to the pleasure of its current owner, Burkley, the place sees many visitors, and has the biggest selection of ale, grog, and booze you'll ever see. This city also has an undercity, mostly a residential area.
Tundoira city is almost as big- though it's snowy as Alaska, though not as cold. Cold Circles is the name of the bar, Ben the Dwarven barkeeper has a strict code- no fights, which also means- fewer drunks. Log cabins are plentiful, as are Dwarves and Gnomes. It's also home to the Tundoiran Military.
Mologra is your desert paradise. You can get everything, drugs, women, you name it, it's there. This place has a big separation between poor and rich. There's no middle. It's a medium sized city.
The Ruins of Raaf are a scary place indeed. Widely believed to be haunted by the people of the once happy and thriving city. The populace froze to death in the matter of a week when the green island of Raaf was hit by the worst ice storm in the history of the world. Even then, the ice still has not gone away and few adventurers are ever brave enough to enter the city, let alone plunder its treasures.\

-----------------------
It was the year 900, and for once in the country of Vas'Hilld, everything was right. King Gregor was a benevolent king, and there hadn't been a war since the year 730. The world of Angalia was prospering- including the evil side.
Jakob Gray went down the path very quickly, even at just a jog. It helped to be aligned with the air. His long, red-brown bangs bounced around, his emerald eyes taking in everything quite quickly. In his pack was an important document. It was needing to be signed by General Trect of Crenold Stronghold, for the shipment of several hundred pounds of explosives. Apparently they had invented something that could launch these bombs before the wick went low.
He went up to the large, thick wooden doors that were the frontal entrance to the large stronghold. Knock! Knock! The rapping of Jakob's fist off of the doors resounded louder than expected. He took a step back, slightly embarrassed, a flush coming to his pale skin, and stopping at his high, pointed, half-elven ears.
