Say for example a sledge hammer type weapon which uses solid force fields rather than actual weight to deal damage to opponents. In this manner it is lighter, can still be damaged, and if the user doesn't wish to kill someone with a final blow they can halt the operation of the forcefield, or grow it to the point where it doesn't deal direct damage and acts moreso as if they ran into a wall.

I ran across this roleplay last night just before I was getting ready to stumble to bed, but I didn't have time to read all of the text on the front page (It's rather impressive, by the way). Now that I've come back and had a chance to look over it all, I'm now certain that I would like to join it, if I may.

My only concern is, as other people have already brought up, is the frequency. A month or two ago, I would have been able to post daily, but with current situations, I'm really too busy to post that often. In the rules section, you stated that 1-2 posts a week is the acceptable amount; while that sounds do-able, I must ask that you can accept me posting once a week or so occasionally. I'm a student, so I have a hectic schedule.

If that's acceptable, then I'd like to join as one of the three soldiers for the Black Wolves.

The weapon is indeed approved. I really like your idea and look forward to see your character's weapons ;)

This will be a "slow" roleplay and people has to respect having to wait from time to time so that everyone can keep up. The minimum is 1-2 posts a week, and yeah that means if you can only post once a week it is still fine. But as the rule also stated, we encourage you all to keep looking at the OOC and contact us with anything you might have on your mind. Remember that we are here to have a good time together ;D

My character's profile is up now.. or at least the part my brain managed to put together. I will be going over it tomorrow when I have had a chance to sleep properly. On another note though, I will just paste the raw "weapons", "armor" etc text into it so you can see how I have built my character in relation to outfit and weapon.

Edit: posted the armor and weapon stuff there... I neglected a proper picture for the army, but I will be editing the standard one for that area... it's not quite done yet :)

I have more questions, but I will just create the character and you can tell me if his equipment is acceptable or not and I will edit.

And sorry if I stole the rank you were wanting Leli, I just love leader roles. But, I think our characters always make a good team anyway, so if we both get accepted, I will be a nice boss. haha

Socs I didn't want the leader position, I said I wanted to be your bitch. Y'know, just like in F13, and in EGB:DW, and possibly Cont... And now this~ :D

No one hate on the film picture for my character. It's grainy cause the film is like 3 years old.

I just wanted to say that there might go some time before we start accepting characters. I just want to give people who really like using a lot of time on their character a chance of submitting their profiles as well.

I will let wolf1992 answer the question about the chakram-type and high caliber weapons.

Just wanted to say my character has been submitted and a few things about it.

1. I was wondering if it was ok if I flesh my character's history and bio as we progress in the RP? I ask this because I am terrible at writing histories and almost always end up straying from it as the RP progresses. However, I do have basic idea of what I want to go with, if you would like me to include that.

2. In the abilities section, I was sure of what you wanted, so I listed what I thought was acceptable. But, I did leave the description blank. I will fill them in if the direction I was going in was correct. Plus, I am just too tired to continue writing for the night.

3. I assumed a lot about technology and what my character could have, so if it is not acceptable just let me know.

I guess both weapons could work as long as we still maintain the illusion of this being a "sport". Maybe your chakram (I'm not really familiar with exotic weapons, but tried reading a bit about it) stuns it's target rather than cutting it to pieces? If you can incorporate the weapon into a state where it could be used as a weapon suited for this sport, then it would be no problem.

High caliber sniper rifles tend to be used against materials. There's no problem there either as long as you use it realistic (Although some high caliber sniper rifles are used against humans in the real life too, many were used against SCUD missiles during Desert Storm). Besides, the high caliber will (most likely) only be used against the spawn... it's mainly paralyzing and stunning bullets against people.

If you have a basic idea for your character's history that you could include, it would be nice. While it does not have to be fleshed out like I did with mine, it would be nice just to know a few things about your character. However, you could just flesh it out as we get along, changing that basic history?

Hey guys, sorry that I haven't been much online the last two days. Things have been a bit hectic around here :)

It will get better from now on, I can assure you!!

I'll begin the final work on our "locations" tomorrow, and then begin work on an introductory post ^^

Are all your characters coming along nicely?

EDIT: Locations are ready to be uploaded when it is possible (roleplaygateway doesn't support several GMs yet).
Also, to those of you still waiting for confirmation of some part of your character (ÆSIR) I will make sure that it is seen to very soon. Roleplaygateway decided to spazz out today, removing all character links from the roleplay overview, so I haven't been able to check in on them today. sorry ^^

I just wanted to tell that I have send a pm. to everyone that have made a character so far (even those who isn't ready yet). The accepting of characters have begun, and I am really looking forward to everyone's character. I would like to hear from those of you that is making a character at the moment, to get an idea of how many there is. Either make a post here in the OOC or send a pm to one of the Game Masters.

P.S. I know this is a double post but some people don't check up when I just edit the other post.
