Nicola knew Digit would be in good hands with his uncle, who had lost his oldest son to the Greats, so she spent half an hour catching up with her cousins, and chasing the youngest around. Then she figured they would be almost done, so she went and opened the storage hatch on her uncle's coptor. With her cousins' help, they emtpied it. The now-oldest climbed in, and Nicola covered him with blankets. Then she rounded up everyone else, and they wert back into the house.

They were led into the basement, and her cousins grabbed some explosives and extra ammo, while Nicola started strapping guns under her clothes, revealing nothing of her figure while doing so.

You two can take my coptor, it will have more room for everything.

Thank you uncle. She turned to Digit. There's storage in the bottom of the coptor, that's where the explosives are going, just in case we need them. We'll also have a good stockpile of extra ammo under there. On top of all that goes our emergency kit and trail rations, in case we get stuck. Here,

She handed Digit some trail rations for his pockets, and she put food in her own. Then she picked out enough for her cousin under the blankets. Her uncle gave an inquiring glance after a quick head-count, and she gave a small nod. She handed the guns over to the second-oldest of her cousins, who quickly brought them to the cousin under the blankets before Digit could see. Then she brought even more. They finished by piling on the emergency gear and more food. Nicola grinned at Digit.

Now you'll get the legroom, without that disconcerting view.

He chuckled, and he climbed into the helicopter...

He stretched out in the new vehicle and took count of all the weaponry. it would be awhile before he could use it all, and he quickly started to attach the "Eliminator" to the side of the 'copter. It fit perfectly, and if he closed the side door just enough, he could see without being thrown out from the wind.

He reached into his pocket to examine the food he so carelessly threw in. When he saw it, he chuckled. Seemed the perfect food for the battlefield was pocky...

Then, once more, they took to the skies. Nicola set the destination marker to the oversized Greats base and expertly piloted the machine. He kept eye on the ground below through the side door, and kept recounting his ammo. With a few calculations done in his head, there was 17 shells for each Greats member, not including the explosives.

Then the day was once again interrupted by "fireworks"

A black and white helicopter flew past them, heading much faster and was much larger, and was only a few feet above. How he missed it was beyond him. He cursed himself for taking part in the action movie type trouble he kept getting himself into, and took stand at the Eliminator. The enemy helicopter made a 180 in the air and headed towards them, and he noticed it was equipped with a rail gun and a ko-ax machine gun on the side...which started firing right at them.

"NICOLA! Turn broadside!"

He waited for her to turn the helicopter, and right as she did, he pressed the red button on the top of the gun.

Nothing had ever been so loud.

He fired at amazing rates, bullets spewing out like a flamethrower, making what looked like a never-ending ray of light shooting across the sky. It was unreal. The bullets pummeled into the front of the helicopter. At first, it was unfazed, and then, it was ripped to pieces. It exploded mid air, and fell to the ground instantly

Digit let go of the button and took a long breath of relief.
I am Digit. I am a Forum Junkie. Hear me roar.

OOC: Same fight, from Nicola's POV

As Nicola flew, her eyes took in a helicoptor that was headed straight for them. Realizing it's intent, she swerved under it at the last minute, jerking Digit out of wherever his mind had gone. As the enemy helicoptor turned and started shooting at them, Digit yelled, and Nicola turned their coptor so Digit could use the gun.

Nice shooting, She said as the enemy blew up. Then she turned the coptor back toward their destination, and kept flying.

Digit's eyes grew wide with astonishment, soon had a smile added to them

"I can't wait to see how this baby would do on a Great..."

he chuckled...how cold he must be he thought, to laugh at death...especially when he was death, and people with families may be dying...but they must pay, for they hurt him, and he must hurt them back, three times as hard, for that was his principle anyways...

Nicola was a little scared by his reaction, but she took care not to show it. Instead, she spoke, her voice clear and steady and betraying none of her feelings, at least, not to someone feeling-deaf like Digit.

We're going to get there soon. Do you want me to land just outside? There's a clearing in the forest around their mansion. Or, we could land on the roof like the last place.

Personally, she would rather the forest, but he was the leader.

He slowly nodded. It was better to have a "Sneak attack" Esq mission, rather than go in guns blazing. He snooped around for a moment, and looked into the ammo and extra weapon hatch. Sure enough was a small silencer attached to a magazine, made for the M-4. He attached the silencer, and put in the magazine.it had already on it a 4x scope, and so he readied his aim out of the side door. Right ahead was the clearing in the forest...hopefully they won't attract any company until they reach the target.

Nicola guided the helicoptor to the clearing, coming in so low over the trees that some of the top leaves were brushed back by the skis, but nothing that would upset the flight. She set down gently, and turned the motor off quickly, both for the noise and the disturbance in the trees that the spinning blades made. There was no one in sight as she opened an inside-hatch to the storage. Her cousin came out of hiding, and whispered,

We'll have a few minutes before the current watch comes around. If we take out this one, we won't have to worry about guards noticing for at least half an hour, at most an hour. By then, we probably won't need stealth anymore.

Digit nodded to her as she set the helicopter down, but the second the cousin came out of hiding he swung his rifle around and glared...but he realized it was just her cousin, and no harm would be done...

Digit packed a few extra rounds onto his body and started to creep through the thick underbrush and large towering trees. They came into a clearing where a patrol sat, taking a break. These men were definitely trained, wearing suits with masks, and large expensive rifles...ones even better than the ones Digit had. He gulped and decided not to mess with them, or risk entire obliteration.

Lastly, after sneaking through the woods even more, for what seemed at least a half an hour, they came upon a compound. What used to be a large structure housing the Greats was now a large facility that drive them and trained them, holding at least thousands. Somehow, eh figured the sheer number of the enemy would be a problem.

Paling at the size of the compound and the sheer numbers of people, Nicola signaled that they should draw in. Her cousin spoke, keeping his voice to a whisper and turning hard s's into th's.

The boss lives in a mansion in the middle of the compound. This time of day he'd be in his swimming pool, so if we set off explosives around the perimeter we can cut down on the people we have to fight without risking hurting him.

Nicola nodded, and thought for a minute, then wishpered, following the cue with the th sound replacing s.

If we put the explosives into place without being seen and plac them close enough, we could wait at one point, set off a chain reaction and enter at another point just before or just after the explosions. That could confuse them as to which direction we'd be coming from. What do you think?

She turned to Digit as she whispered that last bit.

Digit Nodded. The idea was okay, not anything too tactical, but working. If the men were trained well however, they'd know exactly where and when they'd came...luckily, most of the men were but boy's recruited with intentions of money.

"Nicola, you stay here, and take a long range rifle, you...whatever your name is, you come with me and hold the explosives, I'll set them, and you head to the north area, I'll head south. The first explosion would knock down the wall, and most likely send an alarm off, and the trained men will head towards the hole. We need a way to head over the compound walls and sneak past, taking out the untrained confused men quickly, and getting into the mansion. Nicola can cover us from a distance. Can you do that?"

[b] The plan was basically the same, but with a few more thoughts involved. Unfortunately, they didn't have all day, and would have to act fast. [/ic]

Nicola and her cousin both grinned and nodded. The cousin pulled out a rope with a grappling hook, while Nicola picked out a good long range rifle and some extra shots. Her cousin introduced himself as he handed the rope over to Digit to inspect.

Name's Richard II. Friends and family call me Ricky to avoid confusion. Will this get you over the wall?

He grinned and grabbed the grappling hook out of Ricky's hand, and handed him the explosives. Nicola had the necessary weapons already, and he pointed her to a tree atop a mound in the distance. He nodded and him and Ricky ran nimbly towards the wall, staying out of the way of the lights that hang from watchtowers.

He ran to the east wall and pointed Ricky where to set the explosives and gave him a good time to set it. He then ran towards the south wall quickly with the rope. The door entrance was on the north, and so, he waited for the sound of the explosion...and also Nicola's shots.

Ricky set the explosives as Nicola headed for the tree Digit had pointed out. Ricky waited until Nicola had climbed the tree, and then the explosion began. Ricky ran to the north with another set of grappling hooks. All guards within the compound immediately began heading for the area of the explosion, and Nicola started picking them off, sighting herself a route to another tree for when they figured where she was. Ricky figured he'd create another diversion by noisily taking out some guards away from where Digit would be. He knew he could count on Nicola's shots to keep Digit covered, and she'd expect him to cover himself.

[b] Heading towards the south he immediately threw a hook over the wall. With a burst of agility he climbed over the wall, stealthily jumping to the other side. One guard saw him, and he reached down, sitting on one knee, grabbing something in his boot. Pulling out a knife he raised it and threw it with extreme accuracy, taking out the man left eyeball. He grinned and stepped up, running towards a pair of locked double-doors to the mansion. This was a little harder than he thought, but where there's a will, there's a way...

He raised his rifle and stepped back, firing at the locking mechanism of the door, continuously. A few bullets ricochet and a few more stopped dead in their tracks, but the majority hit the door lock perfectly, busting it until nothing was left. He raised his boot and kicked in the doors, sending them flying back and hitting a guard on patrol inside.

To his left he saw movement, but a bullet whizzed past his head, hitting the shadow square in the chest. The body lurched forward, and he smiled, tipping his head to Nicola.

Finally, as the final part of his plan, he breathed deeply and ran forward, unlocking the north entrance to the mansion for Ricky to enter through. If, of course, he was still alive. He kept his gun in hand and stood in place for his back-up. He silently cursed himself, however, for not bringing his communication device. Nicola might just have to come to the mansion herself, whenever she felt the need.

Nicola saw Digit go over the wall, and jumped from tree to tree until she got close enough to be on the wall. Then, she kept up with digit by sticking to the roofs, taking out a couple guards that he didn't see. When he stopped, she stopped on a roof directly across from the door he was firing at. Ducking to avoid a stray bullet, when she came up she felt a guy in the corridor take aim at Digit and fired a bullet striaght through his heart. Digit tipped his hat at her, and went in. She jumped to the roof and made sure the place was clear before landing lightly on the ground and walking through the door. Seeing Digit realizing his lack of communication, she grinned.

Here!

As he turned to see her, she tossed him the device she had picked up. Then she pressed the button to call her cousin.

Ricky?

I'm here.

We're in. Stay outside and get ready to cover an exit if we have to get out of here fast.

Will do!

She looked to Digit.

Lead on.

For a moment's notice, he forgot his goal. He was here for revenge, not petty games. He nodded and his energy sprung into action. Through the corridors he ran, but he slowed down...there was no one. All the enemies were outside, and most of them dead, Ricky picking off a few more. Nicola kept up with him easily, but he sensed something strange in the air. There was something wrong, and he didn't know what it was.

Before he could turn around to see what happened, he heard Nicola yelp, her rifle falling to the floor. His eyes widened, but before he could react, it was dark....the last thing he saw was red eyes, and a man with a long slit between his eyes.

The light that shone through to his eyelids woke him, and with a start he jumped up, looking around. It was a cell....he cursed and kicked the wall. No use though...he was trapped. They stripped him of his weapons and clothes, leaving him only in his boxers with a black sleeveless shirt. How lucky he must be, he thought, they didn't take the shirt of his back.

He walked silently to the bars that constrained him and peered to his left. The hall way had a few cells, and he could see Nicola in one of them. Ricky was nowhere to be seen. To his right was a shadowy figure....very familiar he was, with a look to him that spelled dead already. The most noticeable feature was his red eyes...maybe contacts, but he was too naturally evil looking to consider it.
What the guy looked like was the last of his worries. He noticed Nicola was still asleep, and he didn't want to shout to alert the mysterious guard, so he waited. Only when she woke up could they devise any plans.

While he was thinking of a plan, he remembered the guards face from before. The one on the rooftop, in which he threw the knife into his forehead.

"Wasn't he dead...?"

He whispered in confusion....

Digit ran through the corridors so fast Nicola didn't have time to scan for people. By the time he realized something was wrong and slowed down, it was too late. She tried to shout a warning, but it was cut off when the person she sensed hit her in the back of her head. I'm going to have a major headache... was all she thought as she fell to the ground.

She woke up slowly, taking care not to groan. She didn't need to think, she remembered everything. She played dead as she probed around her with her mind. She found Digit, still sleeping, and knew she'd have to wait for him to wake up before making a move. She found the guard, and something else. There were people behind what looked to be a wall, and they could see everything. She opened a link up to Ricky, who took stock of where they were and moved to the closest exit to them. She knew he'd come in if needed, but would avoid capture for the moment.

When Digit started to wake up, moments after Nicola, the other person came in, and she realized it had to be the man she had hit between the eyes. The other two people behind the "wall" were definitely the leader and someone very high in the rankings of the gang. As soon as Digit was fully awake, she sent him the emotional readings, hoping he would understand.
It's a good thing I know how to do a link without the other person knowing...

He jumped quickly, hearing a voice of sorts....but much more. It was more like an emotional link, and if he knew Nicola enough, he could tell it was her. He quickly turned his head to her direction. He couldn't see the higher rankings form his position, but he could tell the mystery man was watching the higher ups, and not the prisoners. That could've been their chance, but something else came up.

He looked upwards when sensing something else, and noticed Ricky above them, very inconspicuously located hanging from the ceiling. A vent in the roof was his means to get there, but he didn't move. Not yet. he couldn't get caught. If he slipped it might cost them all, and he was hiding high enough up that no one could see him but him and Nicola.

One of the higher up men came into view, nodding to the mystery man, sending him out of the room. He walked to the door, and stared at them. Digit knew this man. He was definitely the target they were searching for.

Nicola felt from Digit that the man who just entered the room was the leader they were looking for. Only problem is that he's on the other side of the bars...

Good morning boys and girls, I'm afraid Gordon may have given you a scare. But now that you're all here... I might as well deal with you myself.

Well, there's no point in pretending to be asleep anymore. Nicola sat up and looked at him, still keeping the contact with Digit and Ricky, shielding all of them from the man inside the room. This is Digit's mission, I'm just back-up. I'll let him deal with this one for now. She sent a feeling of slight submission to Digit, hoping he would understand that she was asking him to take the lead.

Digit felt s submission come towards him...he closed his eyes. this may be it...

The man walked slowly over to Digit's cell. He was tall...black hair, sort of short and choppy. It was much like his own, but messier. Digit got the feeling this was the boss...but he didn't seem to have authority. even Gordon seemed to smirk as he left.

Digit sat up, and walked to the bars, facing the man. He smiled.

"So uh...you going to let me out, or what?"

"Ok, play stupid young man..."

"Now now, let's not start calling each other names."

If Digit was good at anything, it was intimidating the enemy.

Digit balled up his naked fist, being derived of his gloves, and swung at the bars. His fist amazingly just scraped the one bar, and his entire forearm was able to fit through before punching the man directly between the eyes. Digit grinned and pulled his arm back as the man buckled backwards, holding his bleeding nose.

"Now will you let me out?"

"You idiot! Now instead of killing you quickly, I've decided to TORTURE you a bit!!!"

Digit smiled, knowing he'll be able to live a little longer, and maybe have a better chance at escaping...but as the man trudged off, he didn't expect him to hit a switch and leave. The sound of fans entered the room, and Ricky fell to the floor. The invisible gas hit him first, as he was near the vent. Digit closed his nose and beat on the bars, watching Nicola and silently crying for her to do something as well....
