Leutinent J.G. Harrison Mitchell's walked into Raphael Winson's office. Harrison had a smile on his face. He was always like this after he had committed his favorite act...mass destruction.

Winson - I take it that all went according to plan?

Harrison - It was a bit easier than I thought.

Winson - How did Kiyoshi react?

Harrison - He was devastated.

Harrison began to laugh remembering hos Kiyoshi had acted.

Harrison - It really effected him...I started calling him weak since he killed that girl. It was great.

Harrison continued to laugh. Winson smiled evilly as he thought about Kiyoshi. The thought of Kiyoshi becoming crippled by just knowing that the Fre Foundation had returned in this way. Soon he was sure that Kiyoshi would come straight to him. Then his second part of his plan could be put into motion.

Winson - We will wait until Kiyoshi comes here. There is no way he will just stay behind on MO-V now.

Harrison - My Taurus got busted up pretty good...

Winson - There is a custom Serpent waiting for you, Commander Mitchells.

Winson smiled evilly then turned to look out the window. Harrison smirked realizing he had just been bumped up in rank a few times.

Winson - Now, leave me. You should go and prep the rest of our troops. I'm sure the }{G will be mighty upset about what you have done.

Harrison - Feh...fine.

Harrison turned and walked out of the office lighting a cigarette as he left. Harrison looked out towards the city. If the }{G came all they had was the Mercurius and team of Virgo mobile suits. Nothing the newly built Serpent units couldn't handle. There were also still several Leo and Taurus units in place. If he could make the }{G fall, the colonies would lose a vital link that could protect them. Then all the Fre Faction would have to do is avoid ruffleing L1's feathers, and all would eventually fall into place. Soon, Harrison could implement Operation: N and begin the true goal of the Fre Faction, that only he knew about.

Raphael Winson was sitting in his office when he got the word that one of his spies was on his way back from MO-V. He was quite angry at this fact. There should not have been any reason for anyone to be returning from MO-V at this time. Winson waited patiently in his office until Kyle Long, finally arrived. Kyle walked into the office and saw that Winson's chair was turned away from him, with Winson looking out the window.

Winson - Why have you returned to L3, Mr. Long.

Kyle - I kidnapped a girl who was on the Pegasus Crew Registry, sir.

Winson turned around in his chair quickly, his anger showing on his face.

Winson - You did what!?

Kyle looked nervous as he started to answer again.

Winson - I heard you the first time! Why did you do something like that!?

Kyle - I thought...I thought she could be beneficial to the Fre Faction, sir.

Winson - Bring her to me at once! You better be right...or I promise you, you will not see tomarrow...

Kyle - Yes sir!

Kyle saluted then walked out as fast as he could then brought Mia, who was handcuffed and in a wheelchair, back to Winson's office. She was still unconcious. Winson narrowed his eyes and then turned to the computer and hit a few keystrokes. He brought up surveliance videos that the ships from L3 also hacked from the Pegasus. An evil grin spread across his face as he saw Mia and Kaden interacting.

Winson - How sweet...

Winson watches the tape of when Kaden offered Mia a room on the Pegasus. Fast forwarding through the video he also saw that Mia spent many hours in Kaden's room. Winson then looked to Kyle.

Winson - Hang her in one of the cell's...we'll be sending a message to the }{G soon.

Kyle - Yes, sir, Lord Winson.

Kyle wheeled Mia out of the room. Winson stood to his feet in a twisted evil joy as the door closed. He knew he'd get Kiyoshi to come to L3 easilly, just mentioning the name 'Fre' would have accomplished that, but now...he had a way to get Kaden. Kiyoshi and Kaden were essential to Winson's plan. They both held the DNA of two of the greatest pilots and fighters ever to exist. Now...they would both fall into his hands. Kyle walked out of the office, ready to send the message to the Pegasus.

The Defensive Control Room of L3 Prime was heavily equipped. It housed at leave fifteen different specialist each at their own designated station.

Christian was born on L3 and raised there. He'd joined up with the army at the age of 16 during the draft. Due to the harsh times of war, the army had began to forcefully recruit anyone they could get, yet Christian voluntered.

The screen before Christian was blank, as usual. He sat with his cheek residing in his open hand as he lazily leaned against it. It had been a boring day as usual, he had nothing else to do rather than sit there. He turned to look towards the young female at his right. Her name was Melissa and he'd grown rather fond of her over the years that he'd been placed here.

Every aspect of her body was more angelesque than any he'd ever seen. Why she'd picked the military, he'd never know. Maybe one day he'd actually get up the courage to ask her...

The beeping on the monitor before him dragged him from his dazed state. His eyes widened as the monitor signaled that a rather large shuttle was approaching L3 Prime.

Christian - Sir, we have a shuttle on approach with no clearance for docking!

Commanding Officer - [i]Has anyone attempted radio contact?

Another Officer - Affirmative sir, no response.

Suddenly, all the screens of the Colony shifted to total darkness, only one word appearing across them. "Evacuate." This not only puzzled Christian, it intrigued him. He was only on a need to know basis when it came to matters such as this and when the Defendors attacked L3, the virus that infected the system conceiled it from him, as well as the rest of the occupants of L3 that hadn't seen it with their own eyes.

The screens shifted back to their original state, announcing that the shuttle was now closer than it had been earlier. There was one thing that now baffled them all. It seemed to have stopped a good distance from L3.

Christan's mouth fell open as the shuttle relinquished it's contents. It was something that he hadn't seen in years....Something that he feared would never return to the void of space...

Christian - Sir, it's a gundam!

-

Kaden opened his eyes, the blackness of space illuminated by the Colony that appeared in the distance. The grip on the controls had turned his hands white as he attempted to figure out his plan for battle....No, there was no plan for battle.....There was only one thing he had in mind...

..Revenge......And he and DSX were bound and determined to claim it, no matter who got in the way.

When Winson heard the report of a Gundam outside the colony, he was surprised. He didn't think that only one of them would come to L3, nor did he think they would come this quickly, nor did the possibility of a Gundam enter his mind. He had expected their Virgo mobile suits to show up, but not a Gundam.

Winson - Hurry! Send out a team of Serpents! Find Commander Harrison Mitchells. Osia, it looks like we will be leaving soon!

Osia nodded as she walked out of Winson's office to give the order.

-

Soon after a team of ten Serpents quickly launched out of L3. Five of them had powerful beam cannon's, the other's had the twin gataling guns. The pilots inside looked out at hte DSX, and even from here, it looked terrifying. The did not know what to expect, so they expected for the worst, as they prepared themselves for battle.

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Mia Siserae on Wed Oct 26, 2005 5:58 pm

Her head slowly tilted to the side as a sharp pain ran straight down from the back of her head. A low grumble followed by a moan escaped her lips as her eyes had a bit of difficulty opening. It took her longer than expected to blink the world around her into view.

Where....am I?

She couldn't move. Cold, thick metal bounded her hands and feet to the stone cold wall. She had scratches all about her, a stream of crimson from her forehead could be seen ending along the edge of her jawline. She could taste a hint of blood coming from her bottom lip, while her attention immediately shifted to a man unfamiliar to her, yelling.

Winson - Hurry! Send out a team of Serpents! Find Commander Harrison Mitchells. Osia, it looks like we will be leaving soon!

That's when she noticed the 'Fre Faction' label printed on several sheets of paper scattered across his desk. She recognized it immediately, identifying the Faction as the organization that had just attacked MO-V and the }{G. She immediately developed a severe hatred for the man before her, vowing that if she ever got out of this alive, she was going to give him all hell.

The vengeful fire within her tainted heart blazed with pure hatred for the first time in a long time.

She knew why she was there. It was obviously a trap. She knew it, and she knew that Kaden and Kiyoshi knew it. She was merely a gambit--a sacrificial pawn in this twisted man's little game. This was what Kaden had warned her about. She was caught off guard, and didn't expect it all to happen so fast and so soon.

She hoped that Kaden wouldn't fall into his trap, but she secretly wished in her heart that he'd come for her.

She squirmed to see if by some luck, the chains and locks would disappear, in her mind she knew her efforts would take her no where, but she sure as hell wasn't going to sit there and not do anything about it.

Winson looked at Mia squirming in her restraints. He walked up to her and ran his han down her cheek.

Winson - Squirm all you want my dear, but you won't be escaping easilly.

Winson walked away from her, putting his arms behind his back.

Winson - You know, you were the perfect tool to use to get that other fool here. I'm not sure which one is outside, but it is one of them. We'll just have to wait and see. Is it Kiyoshi coming to find out why his past has returned to haunt him, or is it Kaden trying to be the noble knight and saving his princess?

Winson looked back at Mia.

Winson - Either way, one of them will soon fall into my hands, and then the other will soon follow. Heroes are so foolish.

The Serpents seemed to pour from the Colony, forming a makeshift barrier before it. The DSX offered a quick overview of their weapons, not as a warning, yet as....a challenge.

The DSX lunged forwards as the DTBS, still in hand, ignited in a blaze of glory at his side. The sheer speed of DSX's arrival before the first Serpent caught it off guard, the same routine he'd done in training. He issued a quick slice up across the chest of the suit as he bursts past it. The suit leaned forwards, the slice deep enough to nearly cause the reactor to explode.

He didn't take time to notice if it did, the suit's power had failed none the less.

Two more Serpents began to move in at both of his flanks. He lowered his active cloak as they began to fire upon DSX with their beam weapons. The heavy gundanium armor easily absorbed the shots as he extended the scythe. At the speed his suit was traveling it was almost just a blur. The two Serpents in his wake then fell from their lower halves. They'd move'd in too close and a blade at each end of the scythe had met their exposed sides, granting them a quick death.

At this rate he would soon be at the Colony, yet three other Serpents formed their barrier before him once again. They all opened fire upon him as the remaining suits attempted to flank him as the others did.

A barrel extended from his free hand's wrist, energy seeming to beam from it as it began it's charge. Suddenly, the DSX disappeared from their view. THe pilots began to franticly search around for their enemy...

The three suits then errupting in a blaze of fire, engulfing the area in smoke. This granted him a distraction as he barreled through the smoke and remnants of any suits that had been caught in the line of his Buster Gun.

It seemed that someone had forgotten to close the back door. The area from where the Serpents had exited from was still open, though closing as he neared it. A quick slice of his scythe easily split it wide open, permitting the DSX inside of the Colony.

He gritted his teeth from inside the cockpit, random thoughts running through his mind....Yet one single vision stuck out.......If that man had laid a hand on his Mia.....The things he would do to that man.....Even God wouldn't forgive him for.

Oh how she longed to break that little hand of his. She took a snap at his hand, going as far as the chains would permit her. She was just about ready to punch off that smug look on his face. Her heart leaped forwards though as the mention of Kaden possibly being here was analyzed by the mad man before her. She was completely and utterly perplexed though, as all of the information that she tried to piece together didn't match up.

That..that's impossible...neither Kiyoshi nor Kaden have possession of a Gundam.

She distinctly remembered that Kaden piloted Virgo, and nearly killed his opponent. Had it been a Gundam, his opponent would've been completely mutilated. Nevertheless, she had just about enough of the man before her now.

I demand that you unchain me.

Due to the hyper jammers, the DSX was unseen as it stepped through the Colony. The few remaining citizens heard the rumbling and knew that something was close by, though there was no sight of it granted.

The DSX stopped before a designated building. He raised his eyes to the screen efore him and the signal it was receiving. It was Mia....the tracer he'd placed on her hadn't been noticed, and that was good....

The cockpit door opened as he stood from his seat. The MAG - 7 in his bandaged right hand was clearly visible. He made a mad dash across the cockpit door before leaping from it. The MAG - 7 fired a massive spray against the window of the building he was heading towards. The spray ripped through the window, shattering it to pieces into whomever was too close.

He landed in a crouch, his right knee to the ground with his head bowed. Of course, his entrance had aroundsed the interest of several heavily armed guards who now burst into the room. He quickly dove towards a nearby desk, his free hand moving out towards it to tug it over as he fell, using it as shielding. The guard didn't hesitate to open fire upon him. He sat there, his back against the desk as he contimplated his next movement......He didn't have that pleasure though.

The firing had stopped, which forced an eyebrow to raise upon Kaden's face. Something thumped against the ground and rolled past the table....A grenade! He quickly reached over to grab it and flung it back outwards through the door that the soldiers were now hiding behind.

The explosion was loud enough to be heard through the entire building. He didn't take to congradulate himself as he planted his free hand against the side of the desk. He shifted his leverage to it as he propelled himself up from behind the desk and over it.

He landed with a thump against the carpeted floor. He took a good look at his surroundings, an office building. This was the first thing he'd learned in battle....Take full notice of your surroundings and adapt to them...

He didn't really see anything that would help him, yet something did catch his eye. One of the blood sprayed bodies had a belt of grenades across it still intact. He reached down to snag them from the torso of the severed carcass and draped them across his shoulder.

He knew he didn't have time, he had to get to Mia, now. He began a mad dash down the hallway, his footsteps clattering off of the close walls. It seemed that his footsteps were growing louder, but that wasn't the case. A massive troop of men were nearing him from a surrounding corridor and their heavy steps had given them away...

He grabbed one of the grenades from the belt, interlocking his index finger with the ring. He leaned up against the edge of his own corridor that connected to the next, waiting....

He pulled the pin as he continued to listen, silently counting in his mind....1.....2......Their footsteps continued to grow in sound....3........4....He let loose the grenade down the hallway, the explosion sounding off while it was still in the air. The groans of the remaining soldiers still alive reverberated off of the surrounding walls as he dashed outwards, heading the opposite way.

The smoke had granted him a screen for his movements once more, and he was glad....He made a quick turn at another corridor and bumped right into a lone soldier. The suprise in his eyes was greeted with the sound of a massive explosion...The MAG - 7 fired it's spray into the stomach of the soldier, sending him flying off of his feet as a spray of blood went across his own body. He took a moment to propel the fired shell from it's chamber and replace it with a fresh one.

He continued his dash as he now reached into his coat to pull out a dagger. He held the weapon in his hand, the gold hilt nearly casing a glow as the light blinked off of it with his movements.

Three more soldiers stepped out into the hallway, opening fire upon him. He sent his weight flying off of the toe of his right boot as he moved through the air into a flip. The MAG - 7 dropped aim upon the closest soldier, the barrel only inches from his face. The shot sent the soldier's head awry at first before sending it to millions of tiny fragments about him and the others.

He lowered the blade in his hand as he continued to move through the air, past the next shoulder. The lowered blade made an easy slice against the neck of the soldier, sending a spray of blood outwards in his wake.

He dropped before the last remaining soldier, his eyes wide in awe as he stared into them with his own. He pulled the lever on the MAG - 7, pumping a shell into it's chamber before raising it towards the chest of the man. He dropped his weapon, raising his hands in turn as he stepped back. The sheer look of Kaden at this point, covered almost completely in blood, would frighten ANY man.

Soldier - Hey, look, I surrender.....Please, don't kill me...

It's too late for that now....

He whipped his left hand in with a wide slice across the face of the man as the shot fired into his chest. The massive hole in the man's chest, that seemed to instantly appear, revealed his innards, torn and shreded by the slug that had ravaged them.

He raised the locator once more as he continued down the hall. A certain room was highlighted on the screen. He shifted his weight to his heels as he skidded to a stop before the door. He slide the dagger upwards into the arm of his coat as it soon opened. The sight of the two of them, this man holding his weapon towards Mia's face, was enough to boil his blood....

Kiyoshi made his way onto the bridge as fast as he could. In his weakened state it to him longer than it normally would. He sat down in the captain's chair. Kiyoshi felt odd in it, but he knew that right now, that's where he had to be.

Crewman - It looks like most of their defenses have been whiped out...

Whiped out!? By what...?

Crewman - I don't know...

Kiyoshi narrowed his eyes on the colony.

Must be Kaden...alright...bring us to the main docking bay. We're going to ram through it.

Crewman - What!?

You heard me. It's the fastest way in...the Pegasus can handle it.

Crewman - I should remind you that the Pegasus is still not in it's best condition, sir.

I should remind you that I've been on this ship longer than anyone...I said...ram through the damn colony!

Kiyoshi didn't care at this moment that L3 was once his home. He knew the Fre Faction was in there, he knew Kaden and Mia were in there as well, and he wanted to get in there fast.

Have a team of Virgo's ready to launch. I'll send them the coordinates of where I think they'll be located. All hands, brace for impact!

The Pegasus rammed through the docking bay of L3 Prime, ripping through the wall in one powerful thrust. Everyone onboard was shook pretty hard. Once they were in, Kiyoshi got up from his chair as fast as he could.

I'm going out too...

Crewman - Is that wise in your condition, sir?

Kiyoshi ignored it and walked off the bridge and made his way to the hangar. The ride on the zip line had never been so difficult, but Kiyoshi had to get to his former Office. He knew that was where this man named Winson must have been. Kiyoshi opened a comm. link to the bridge.

Once I'm out, back the Pegasus out of the docking bay and have a crew begin to make repairs to the docking bay. Kiyoshi...Virgo...heading out!

Kiyoshi launched out of the Pegasus following the team he had ordered to send out. He only hoped he could get there in time.

OOC: I appologize for any random changes in tense. All of this was originally done in an AIM chat between me, Mia, and Wind...so bear with me, and enjoy. This took me a long time to edit and get ready to post.

IC:

Winson smirked as he looked at Mia.

Winson - Who are you to give demands to me?

Mia - Who are you to keep me here?

Mia’s retort was followed by an increasingly cold glare. Winson began to laugh.

Winson - You do bring up a good point, but I assure you I have good reason to keep you here.

Mia - You know...there's a distinct difference between a good reason from a good person, and a good reason from a completely insane person.

The sound of gunfire erupts inside the building, and is soon accompanied by a massive explosion. Fear crept into Mia as she wondered what the cause of all the commotion was. Winson walked up to Mia and released the restraints and in one fluid motion, grabbed her and put a gun to her head.

Winson - It would seem one of them has gotten past the defenses of L3.

With a light gasp, Mia continues to lock her eyes with his own, feeling the cold end of the gun to the side of her head.

Winson - If only you knew the truth about Kiyoshi...but both Kiyoshi and Kaden are threats to me, now. Both of them carry the DNA of two of the best pilots to ever exist.

Mia’s mind raced. What would he want with the blood of the two pilots? Then it hit her. She had done several studies over the fusing of DNA, but she has yet to come across a successful attempt. Nothing of the sort had been mentioned within the medical community.

Mia - What're you going to do with them?

Mia knew full well that the gun could go off whenever it suited him. But her stare remained cold, and she herself remained calm, as her hands fell at her sides. Winson laughed evilly for a moment.

Winson - Kill them of course, but not right away. You see, over zealous heroes can be used so easily.

Mia was glad for the moment that she was free from the metal chains, her wrists red from them. She then spoke in a grave whisper…

Mia - You underestimate them…

Winson - Have I? I've seen what one of them can do first hand...I have underestimated nothing!

Winson made Mia walk over to his terminal with the gun to her head and holding her tightly.

Winson - Play.

The terminal heard his voice command and the video of the young Kiyoshi aiming a gun at a girl near his same age was shown. It showed Kiyoshi as he pulled the trigger and the girl was shot and dropped to the ground.

Winson - See...this is part of the reason why I must do what I am doing...he, and everyone connected to him, must pay for his sins.

Winson began to laugh maniacally. Mia eyes widened as they fell upon what seemed to be a younger version of Kiyoshi. She understood now, why he always acted so distant--no one would've known that he went through such trauma.

Winson - He will pay for destroying the lives of the Fre Foundation....and once I have accomplished that, I will pursue it's dream of a pure society.

Mia knew exactly what he Kiyoshi must've gone through. She herself had her own reasons to her actions in her past that she now regrets, but there's nothing they can do to change the past.

Mia - How are you any more different then he if you are to go on killing?

Winson - He is a failure...a failed experiment gone wrong...I will not fail.

Mia - Experiment..?

Winson - Yes...that's all he was...that's all he'll ever be. The Fre Foundation designed him to be their super soldier. They continued the research OZ had done to create Cloud Strife.

Mia couldn't believe it. Kiyoshi, her laundry buddy, an experiment?!

Winson - He was supposed to also cure a rare genetic disease.

Saying this brought back Winson's evil smile.

Mia raised an eyebrow at this. She had never heard of fabricating a person to where he would be able to cure a disease.

Mia - That's...impossible.

Winson - By building him all the way up from the genetic level, the Fre Foundation hoped to create a cure. They named him "Kiyoshi", hoping that he would be pure, in all aspects. He was perfect, until he began resisting the hypnotic conditioning.

Mia - That is a flawed experiment from the start. You can't create a human being and expect him to do exactly what he is told; his free will cannot be taken away from him.

Winson - Yes, I know that now. We tried though...we tried so hard. That girl that he murdered...her name was Fiona Fre. She was apart of the experiment all along. Kiyoshi didn't realize she was using him from the beginning.

Mia’s hand inconspicuously brushed past her black pouch that was in his blind view that hung on the right side of her belt.

Mia - She looked about his age in there though...she couldn't have known what she was doing!

Winson - She was a very bright girl...wise beyond her years. She knew Kiyoshi was vital to their goal. We all believed if we let Kiyoshi believe he was in love, and someone loved him, that he would perform better. It was true. If we made it seem like his "love" was in danger, he would kill faster and more accurately. He would do whatever it took to get the job done, just to protect her.

Fre...This girl must've had a significant role in the development of the Fre Foundation, Mia thought. Her hand silently flipped open the pouch.

Winson laughed again.

Winson - All for a girl that could care less if he died in a training mission.

Mia - But if that was so...why did he kill her?

Winson glared at Mia.

Winson - Isn't it obvious!? He found out the truth about himself and all those around him. He wanted revenge and he took her life, and her father's. He tried to destroy the Fre Foundation, and only a few of us escaped!

Mia - You SAW the look on his face when he did it!! No one with that expression could have done something like that out of vengence!! He looked liked he was forced to do it!

Winson looked furious at Mia.

Winson - No! He did it out of his own free will! I know he did it, and he will pay for it!

Mia - How can you be so sure that the cerebral manipulations haven't worn off by that time?! Hypnosis varies with each person--and it sometimes has permanent effects!!

Mia’s fingers grasped onto something in her pouch as she slowly pulled it out, holding onto it to her side as if nothing happened. Winson gritted his teeth as he looked at Mia.

Winson - Kiyoshi Kazami killed Fiona Fre...that's all that matters. No one would have given the order to kill her, he would have had to have done it on his own free will. Only her father had the power to give an order like that to Kiyoshi, and he cared more about his daughter than anything in this world. She was part of the reason why Kiyoshi was created. He did not want to see the disease passed on to further generations!

Mia knew that there was a significant piece of the puzzle that was missing, and she was determined to find it.

Winson - Once I have Kiyoshi, I will make him watch the mass genocide...and let him know that it's all his fault. Then...then I will end his life.

Mia - If her father loved her so much, he wouldn't have made the very thing that could save her a blood thirsty uncontrollable child.

Mia clenched onto the item in her hand as she listened to him. Mass genocide!? This man was competely out of his mind! Winson was becoming angrier.

Winson - And you! You're with Kaden, who is very similar to Kiyoshi. Both of them have blood on their hands that hey can never wash away!

Mia - Don't. We. All.

Mia said this annunciating every word. Winson looked at Mia with narrowed eyes.

Winson - Indeed...but soon...soon all will pay for their sins...even myself. Then the world will be pure.

Mia - Sin is human nature. The world cannot exist without it. We are all created through sin--so a perfectly pure world would be a non-existing one.

Winson - Hmph...but man is plagued with disease, pain, agony. I will make it so those no longer exist...I will become god and create man in my image. Kiyoshi was a failure, but I have learned from the mistakes of the past.

Mia - Man shall never be God. And sins may never be erased. But there's always the point where we all pay for our sins—

The door to the room swung violently open, revealing the form of Kaden, blood all over his body.

Mia - Why not start now?

With the flick of Mia’s wrist, she whips out her red pocket knife. The MAG - 7 still in hand was still smoking as Kaden stood in the doorway, breathing heavily. Winson looked surprised as Kaden burst into the room with his gun smoking, and Mia drawing the knife, quickly he grabbed Mia's wrist holding it back and put the gun to her head.

Winson - Stay back, or I'll paint the wall's with her brains!

Mia cursed to herself, as Kaden raised the weapon, attempting to bluff as he watched Winson hold Mia upwards with the gun to her head.

Kaden - Only a coward hides behind a woman! Mia....did he hurt you...?

Winson - You wouldn't fire that! You'd kill us both...

"This was it...", Mia thought. The sight of Kaden made it hurt even more. She didn't want him to see her die. Kaden didn't reply, waiting mainly on an answer from Mia.....Her answer would determine the rest of this man, or his own, life.

Mia - I'm alive…for now.

Mia then forced her head back into Wilson's own. She twisted her wrist to free itself from his grasp. Kaden placed a tighter grip on the MAG - 7, knowing full well the slug would've been enough to tear him to pieces. Winson glared at Mia and pushed the barrel of the gun harder to her head

Winson - Kaden, you better tell your woman to stop...I'm getting nervous, I might pull the trigger.

Kaden gritted his teeth as he breathed a seethed breath, his knuckles turning a bright white as he slowly began to lower his aim.

Kaden – Alright, alright.....

Kaden began to crouch, acting as if he'd set the weapon down on the ground while holding his opposite hand at his back. The dagger in his sleeve slowly slid down into his hand as he released the weapon.

Winson - Tell me Kaden...who is better...a man built on the DNA of one of the best pilots to ever live...or one, like yourself, who is nothing but a clone.

This caught Kaden totally off guard....His eyes widened as he began to writhe in the fury building up inside of him.

Kaden - You're a liar....

This was quite a bit to take for Mia. First Kiyoshi--and now Kaden.

Winson - Believe what you will...but it's true.

Kaden - It doesn't matter what I am.....Let Mia go..

Winson - Hmph...Why should I? I've come to rather enjoy this fiesty woman's company.

Mia wondered if he realized that she could hear him.

Kaden - What do you want from me....?

Winson - I want the same thing that I want from everyone that's connected to Kiyoshi...I want you to suffer.

Winson - Suffer? You don't know shit 'bout sufferin'.....But I’d love to teach you...

Suddenly the whole colony shakes and the crashing sound of the Pegasus breaking through the colony can be heard. Then three Virgo's could be seen landing outside the office window, Winson turned to look at them.

Winson - Damn! They rammed the colony!?

Kaden - Ah, don't act so surprised pal, there's a lot more in store for ya'.

Kaden took this moment to step forwards, his left hand moving around from his back as he attempts to throw the dagger towards him. Mia spotted a glint of light, reflecting off of the blade as she tried to lean off to the side away from it. Winson seeing Kaden move, he fired a shot from his gun, but the knife slit across his eye, making him let go of Mia and scream in pain.

Winson - My Eye!

Mia stumbled forwards, grasping onto her own pocket knife while twirling around to look at her captor. The bullet slammed into Kaden’s right shoulder, flinging it back as it splintered through bone and flesh and made it's exit from his back. Winson held his left eye and then ran for the bookshelf in the office, pulling a book a secret compartment opened.

Winson - You'll both pay for this!

Kaden pressed on, diving towards the now released Mia with his arms open to grab towards her. His hands wrap around her, sending them both behind the office's desk to shield them from any fire the man would offer. He shoved his left hand deep into his jacket, grabbing hold of the other MAG - 7, just incase. Mia’s knife was thrown in Wilson's general direction, but hit the bookshelf as she fell along with Kaden. Winson fired a three rounds before disappearing into his escape route, the door sheilded behind him, and locked from the inside so no one could follow.

Kaden brought his right hand up to the face of Mia, cupping her cheek in his palm as he shifted his eyes to her own.

Kaden - Are you...alright...?

Mia – I am now…

Mia slid her arms around Kaden’s neck into a tight hug, shortly realizing afterwards that he’d been hit. Kaden He dropped the weapon as he threw both arms around her, tugging her upwards against his chest as he fell over to his bottom, holding her against him. He dropped his head against her own as his eyes closed, a single tear moving down his face.

Mia - Oh...Kaden…

Kiyoshi weakly walked into the office a 9mm in his hand.

Kiyoshi - Kaden!? Mia!? Are you in here!?

Mia’s fingertips wiped this tear away as she called out to Kiyoshi.

Mia - In here!!

Kaden’s hold against her never loosened, holding her tight against him, refusing to release her. Kiyoshi walked over to the desk, on the terminal he saw the video of when Fiona Fre was murdered, it was playing over and over. Kiyoshi dropped the gun that was in his hand.

Kiyoshi - I'm...I'm glad to see, you're both alright...

Kiyoshi's eyes were in pain, but they were hidden behind the new sunglasses Lori had given him

Kiyoshi - I'll...have a team come out to help you both back to the Pegasus...

Kaden continued to bury his face in Mia's hair as he finally spoke, though only in a whisper.

Kaden - We're leaving in the DSX.......Clean up the mess…

Kiyoshi - Where are you going in the DSX?

Kaden - Home.

Mia raised an eyebrow at the mention of a DSX.

Mia - What...

Kaden placed his feet back against the ground, picking Mia up with him as well. He knew she was tired and wasn't about to let her walk.

Mia - Did I...

Kaden - Miss?

Kiyoshi looked around his former office and then back at the terminal. He hoped no one had seen his past. His mistake.

Kiyoshi - Lori's not going to be happy that I went out here....but I'll clean up what I can.

Mia managed to slip out of his grasp though, telling him to hold still for a moment as she pulled bandage wrap from her black pouch.

Kaden - No, it's fine...

Mia - You've lost too much blood.

Kaden turned her around to the veranda behind them, motioning for her to follow.

Kaden - .....It's not....mine.

Mia’s eyes widened at his answer. She decided not to press the issue forwards. The hyper jammers of the DSX lifted their veil of the massive Gundam that now hovered outside of the veranda before her. Kiyoshi watched the two of them, he waited till they were far enough away. He picked up his gun and aimed it at the computer screen, holding the gun exactly as he had in the video.

Mia followed closely behind Kaden, completely awestruck at what she was seeing. A zip line dropped from the cockpit of the Gundam, landing beside their feet. Kaden extended his free hand outwards, claming the line as he turned back to face her.

Kaden - It's time to go..

Mia - Kaden...it's a Gundam--

Mia slid her hand into his own, firmly grasping on to it.

Kaden - No, it's not...

Kaden turned his glance back towards the machine that floated before them.

Kaden - It's much more…

Kaden wrapped his arm around her waist after releasing her hand, holding tight as the line tugged them both upwards to the cockpit door to land atop. Mia held on tight, not only because she was afraid of falling, but because she didn't want to let him go.

Inside the office, Kiyoshi pulled the trigger at the same time the young Kiyoshi did, destroying the monitor, and then walked out of the office and made his way to the Virgo he used outside.

The sound of the gunshot seemed to split the air in two, sending a shudder down Kaden’s spine as he turned to face Mia. He slid out of his coat, drenched in blood, to let it drop from the massive height of the Gundam as he stepped into the cockpit with Mia. He took a seat in the cockpit, motioning for her to sit on his lap since there wasn't much room as it was. Mia carefully climbed in, finding herself on his lap as she leans back into him. Kaden made sure they were safely buckled in as the door sealed behind them, the hyper jammers blanketing the suit in it's mobile camo once again. Dreadfully tired, Mia never felt better as she was sitting there with Kaden. Her thoughts briefly shifted to Kiyoshi though, and she wondered what was going through his head at the moment.

Kaden made sure the ride from the Colony was as gentle as it could be as he returned to the shuttle once more. A light whisper escaped Mia’s lips…

Mia - Kaden...

Her whisper was barely heard over the light beepings of the machinery inside the cockpit.

Kaden - Yes..?

Without another word, Mia turned her head off to the side to place a long kiss on the side of his neck. Kaden closed his eyes for a moment as the feeling of her lips brushing against the skin of his neck gave him a single moment of serenity.

Kiyoshi returned to the Pegasus and slowly walked the halls. When he had first left, his speed was determined by his weakness. Now it was determined by his mind set. From the report he gathered from the Pegasus when he got back on board, the Fre Faction had fled L3 Prime. He guessed they had gone to Auxillary Prime for now. Part of Kiyoshi wanted to leave out and seek out his own personal vengence, much like Kaden had done, but Kiyoshi also knew it'd be useless. Kiyoshi felt jealous of Kaden at this moment.

He's got the girl, the car...well Gundam.

Kiyoshi sighed and shook his head. It was stupid to be jealous. Kiyoshi made his way to the bridge, which was relativly empty. Most of the crew were in charge of fixing any damage to the Pegasus, as well as the damage done to the colony. Kiyoshi slumped down in the captains chair. He'd wait till Kaden came back, before heading to his room. Looking through his sunglasses made Kiyoshi again realize what he had to do next.

Cloud - Distancing yourself from everyone again?

There it was again. Kiyoshi didn't understand the voice. He didn't know if it was really Cloud speaking to him beyond the grave, or if it was a piece of his subconcious that was some how distorted during the battle on MO-V form the mental break down. He didn't care to figure it out either. He would have spoken out to the voice, but the few crewmembers on the bridge would have thought he was crazy, and again...maybe he was at this point.

Yes, Kiyoshi was distancing himself from everyone again, but did he have a choice. Whatever the Fre Faction was planning, as long as he could keep it so that it was only focused on him, no one else would get hurt. Kiyoshi looked around the bridge wondering if he'd have to leave here again. He'd have to go to Earth soon. He'd make sure that Lori was safe with her father. He guessed that she'd be safe with someone who surrounds themselves with Androids.

Androids...didn't the guy who attacked MO-V mention that Derek was made into an android?

Kiyoshi asked himself the question outloud, not wanting an answer. The crew on the bridge seemed to understand that. Kiyoshi decided he'd use that as a reason to go see Lori's father. He didn't like the idea of essentially going behind her back, but if it meant it would keep her safe, then it's what he had to do.

Tired of sitting on the bridge, Kiyoshi stood up and looked to the closest crewman.

If you hear from Kaden or if he returns to the Pegasus...let me know.

Kiyoshi then left the bridge to find Lori. He wanted to let her know that he was okay. Alot of his strength had come back to him. Funny. The one person Kiyoshi just wanted to be around at this moment, which he didn't understand in the first place, is one of the first people he wants to push away from him. Kiyoshi sighed before walking into his room and saw that Lori was still there. He forced himself to smile as he looked at her through his sunglasses that she had given to him.

Hope you didn't miss me...

Kiyoshi left before Lori had anytime to reply. She stared at the doorway he had just left through. Ever since he had woken up he had not rested at all - what kind of medic was she? She couldn’t even keep one patient from running all over the place. Her knees gave out and she collapsed into her chair. She tried to get up, but didn’t have the energy to chase after Kiyoshi. Why, o, why was this all happening? She had expected the fighting, but never had she anticipated the emotions she was feeling now. She folded her hands and her lap and bowed her head.

O, God, please let everyone be alright. Watch over us and send your angels to protect Mia.

Tears of frustration ran down her face as Lori tried to regain control of herself. This wasn’t like her - she hadn’t cried since high school. She rocked slightly and asked God why she was so useless at times like this. She missed the warmth and safety of being held and began a spiral of increasing self pity. A sudden knock on the door shocked her back to reality. A older lady with frizzled white hair that greatly resembled a porcupine that had tried to crimp its sharp points stood in the doorway. She had light gray eyes and a tense smile hidden behind loads of bright red lipstick.

Lady: Excuse me, I heard that a Miss Lorelei Sakura might be in this room, have you seen her?

I'm Lori Sakura.

The lady's face relaxed and several more lines appeared on her face as she smiled widely at Lori.

Lady: Wonderful, we located your bags and are having them brought to you - where would you like them?

Lori blinked. She had completely forgotten about her clothes. It was her search for her clothes that had originally led her to find (or rather crash into) Kiyoshi. She sat up and smiled weakly at the lady.

Here is fine. I really appreciate you doing this.

Lady: No problem, I know we are in an alert right now, but I know how important clothes are to a woman.

The lady’s eyes twinkled as she waved her goodbye. Lori smiled to herself. What a fool she was being. Feeling sorry for herself when so many people’s life were at risk. Her mother would be utterly ashamed if her saw her daughter in this state. Lori wiped her face and stood up. The ship gave a sudden lurch and caused Lori to slam into the wall.

OW!

She grabbed her forehead and felt a warm liquid. She staggered to the mirror and cleaned up the gash that ran from her left eyebrow to her forehead.

This is so uncool.

A man entered the room and place her bags quickly at the door and ran out without a word. Lori ran over to them and pulled out her favorite spiral jeans and her long sleeved (slightly clingy) black turtleneck. She locked the door quickly and changed. Feeling immensely better she stuffed Mia’s dirty clothes away, unlocked the door, and sat in a meditative position. She used this time to pray for her friends.

Kiyoshi: Hope you didn't miss me...

Lori looked up in surprise. She jumped up and ran over to Kiyoshi to give him a massive hug.

OMG! Your okay!

Kiyoshi blinked surprised at the hug, but slowly he let his arms down to hug her back. Kiyoshi looked down at her forehead and saw the gash.

I'm fine...are you okay though?

Kiyoshi smiled slightly in embrassment after asking his question.

Heh...I guess I shouldn't ask a question like that, you are a medic after all.

It felt awkward for Kiyoshi to be hugging someone, or to be hugged for that matter. The last time he had was with Fiona. Kiyoshi pushed Fiona out of his mind. He didn't know what his relationship with Lori exactly was, but in this moment he felt comfortable and safe. So, he stayed quiet in this embrace, realizing that it might be the last embrace he'd ever have. Finally, Kiyoshi began to speak again.

I'm glad to see that you are remotely alright. I hope the gash on your head doesn't hurt to badly. We're going to be heading to Earth soon. I would like to talk to your father on the subject of Androids.

OOC: erm, what?

Lori had been so glad that he was alright that she forgot that not everyone was accustomed to being spontaneously hugged, but she didn’t care.

Kiyoshi: I'm fine...are you okay though? Heh...I guess I shouldn't ask a question like that, you are a medic after all.

Ah, yes, but a clumsy one.

At home, she was always hugged by her androids friends - this seemed strange to some people - but they didn’t realize how human they seemed to be. To her they seemed like real living beings to her, but she was sure no one would understand that.

Kiyoshi: I'm glad to see that you are remotely alright. I hope the gash on your head doesn't hurt to badly. We're going to be heading to Earth soon. I would like to talk to your father on the subject of Androids.

Lori froze and slowly let go of Kiyoshi to stare up at him. She wanted to ask him if he had gone temporarily insane, but he seemed serious. After she had worked so hard to leave…

We are going back to earth? To go see my father? Is this NESSARY?

Kiyoshi walked over to his bed and sat down on it. He didn't want to lie to Lori, but he knew he had to, atleast a little bit, for her safety.

It's not absolutly necessary, but I would like to. Derek was Kaden's father, I don't remember much from the battle, but I do remember Kaden being surprised when the pilot from the Fre Faction told him that Derek was made into an android. I was wondering if your father would know anything about it.

Kiyoshi was glad he was wearing the new sunglasses. They hid the strained look to come up with an answer. Part of him just wanted to look at her and say "I'm too dangerous to be around, as long as your hear there's a chance the same thing that happened to Mia might happen to you, but maybe worse". But, he didn't. Kiyoshi sat there quietly, trying to think of something else to say.

And maybe we could spend some time together on Earth, there are usually better settings down there than that of an old warship.

Kiyoshi blinked. Why had he said that. Spend time with her? On Earth? He had to get as far away from her as he could. He should have said something else. He rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment, hoping she wouldn't notice.

Lori watched him walk to his bed and sit down. He was probally exhausted, and Lori was glad for the opportunity to try and make him rest - if she could.

Kiyoshi: It's not absolutly necessary, but I would like to. Derek was Kaden's father, I don't remember much from the battle, but I do remember Kaden being surprised when the pilot from the Fre Faction told him that Derek was made into an android. I was wondering if your father would know anything about it.

Hmmm, about androids? Well, they are my dad's passion... he MIGHT know something about it. Although, he is pretty cloistered he does keep in touch with other robot lovers.

She said all of this very grudgingly. Why did she always tell the truth? BLAST IT. She couldnt tell what was going on behind those glasses and slightly regretted giving them, but he was a mystery anyway. There was a minute of silence.

Kiyoshi: And maybe we could spend some time together on Earth, there are usually better settings down there than that of an old warship.
She looked up at him wide-eyed. He actually wanted to spend TIME with HER? Not just go on some mission and leave her behind?

Huh? Really? Well, I dont know if you'll like my house much... its very dirty and cluttered with tons of metal objects, tools and wires.... plus it smells like fused metal and burning objects...

She trailed off and realized that maybe he was just trying to be polite and not actually wanting to do any of that at all. Her mom's words came back to her: Always think the best of people. She twisted a piece of her hair around her fingers.

Ah...

Kiyoshi looked over at Lori and smiled. Seeing her twist her hair around her fingers was kinda of cute.

I've been in worse places that smell worse than that.

He continued to look at her as he remembered what he saw in his old office on L3. The video was perfect, in that it set Kiyoshi up as a murderer. He wondered if Mia and Kaden had seen it. He couldn't be sure until he asked, and even then, he didn't want to do that. Kiyoshi then turned his head and noticed Lori's bags.

Ah! Where are my manners? Would you like me to get you your own room on the Pegasus? I doubt you want to share a room with me.

Kiyoshi stood up and walked over to the bags.

Plus, I can get Neko521 all the info he needs on the Pegasus, while we're at it, and even show you the mobile suits on the ship.

Kiyoshi: I've been in worse places that smell worse than that.

I doubt it... but it grows on you. Kinda like fungus.

She grimaced remembering the totally disorder of her home on earth. It was a complete garbage jungle... but that was the adventure of living there.

Kiyoshi: Ah! Where are my manners? Would you like me to get you your own room on the Pegasus? I doubt you want to share a room with me.

Lori laughed and slightly blushed.

Ah, as long as it has a bed I dont really care.

Kiyoshi: Plus, I can get Neko521 all the info he needs on the Pegasus, while we're at it, and even show you the mobile suits on the ship.

Really?! That would be wonderful! I'd really love that <3

She grabbed her MPB and poked her snoozing Neko521 awake.

I cant WAIT to see the mobile suits... ah..

Lori stopped and raised her eyebrows at him.

My memory fails me again - you have to promise to rest before you go doing that kind of thing. What kind of medic am I? I cant let you frolick all over after exhausting yourself.
