Maybe I spoke too soon. Maybe it's not time to rejoice. It seems we're out of the frying pan and into the oven. You see, just the other night a large group of Taiyou soldiers were seen descending on Wing City's own Gambit's Bar.

A battle erupted. People may have died. People may have been injured. But that's not the only point of telling you this.

We may have traded one empire for another. The Aschen leave and the Taiyou arrive to take their place. Maybe they're going to hinder the rebuilding of our government to implant their own.

Maybe it was just a visit. I doubt it and anyone who thinks they're here for anything but a hostile takeover is a better person than I.

I'm giving no benefit of the doubt to the Taiyou.

They have to earn that right.

For Wing City News Network I'm John Hartchif, Early this week recent developments have been forth coming, one of the more important things hoeever has been the sudden rise in wanted posters concerning a strange race of creatures with very valueable fur coats. What we know so far is three people are wanted on this list with a reward for each, anyone with information is requested to contact the people known as Hunter Ltd at the Underlundian Empire Resort and Medical Spa on Sol Avenue in Western Wing City room 24507. Do not call this station as we have no information on these subjects directly.

In other news today police are currently working rescue operations across the city directly in the wake of the Aschen leaving terra in the void that was l eft has kept us with enough troubles of our own. Wing City News Network is coordinating with Wing City Police Department to find and locate problem areas as soon as we are able, we also extend thanks to those who followed our advice and stayed away from those particular areas.

Currently on our list of areas to avoid are

Maybe I spoke too soon again. Maybe the Taiyou are our friends now. Earlier today they were soon descending upon Gambit's Bar, this time on the side of our troops. Maybe that alliance during the war isn't as shaky as I thought. Maybe the Taiyou have changed for the better. Maybe not. We'll see in the future.

The reason our troops showed up at the bar on Wing City's Main street? Witnesses reported seeing several old American military vehicles, hearing gunshots and seeing groups of gunmen and soldiers before the fighting began.

We spoke to Captain Aaron Vrail about the fighting:

"Hostilities between the TNG and the mysterious new UNSC are non-existent. The terrorists holed up in Gambit's were neutralized efficiently. My thanks to the Union forces who assisted us in dealing with the conflict. At the end of the day, we had only two of our own injured."

We could not get a comment on which group these terrorists belonged to or their motives.

Fireworks over Wing City after the Union declared global victory

The war is over! At long last, the dreaded Aschen Occupation has left Terra, leaving the well-being of our planet in the capable hands of the Galactic Union and the Terran National Government! In a climactic showdown, the forces of the Union and the Terran Resistance launched an aggressive world-wide campaign into Terra, landing troops in London, Paris, Berlin, Wing City, Washington D.C. and other iconic Terran locations. After a week of relentless fighting, the orbiting Aschen Fleet of Profound Solitude was defeated by the combined might of the Taiyou Empire, the Belkan Empire, the United Coalition of Nations and the Terran Resistance. With the central fleet gone, all that remains of the Aschen presence is whatever on-world Imperial soldiers that are not already captured or dead.

The Aschen Occupation was a dark time for Terra. Under the oppressive thumb of the Empire, Terrans were given little-to-no rights, subjected under the whims of a tyrrinical Emperor who had no care for anyone who wasn't of Aschen blood. Terrans were slaughtered by the thousands, often for no reason at all, or for merely being in the way. Entire city blocks could be glassed by a passing Reverance simply because rebels were expected to be hiding somewhere in the area. Our social rights were denied, our places of worship burned to the ground, our homes and places of work destroyed and set aflame. The African and Middle Eastern territories experienced the brunt of the Aschen hospitality, however. The Empire imposed strict population-control limits on the denizens of the Eastern Hemisphere, murdering Terrans as they pleased and glassing entire cities to root out Hataf insurgents. Understandably, anti-Aschen movements were particularly strong in these regions. At the first sign of Union colors, many Terran citizens took up arms against their Aschen oppressors, fighting the Imperials with whatever weapons they could find; from gardening shovels to kitchen forks. "The strangest one I found was in Cairo," a marine reports, "I found an Aschen corpse, but no visible injuries or wounds. When we opened his mouth, we found his mouth stuffed with bread down to the throat. He'd been suffocated on food."

With the Aschen gone, the Terran National Government was quick to lay claim to our world's authority once again. With the majority of Parliament still hidden among the far reaches of space, the TNG has declared a temporary martial law. The governance of the planet currenlty belongs to General Prachai Ranida, Admiral Fatih Sayilgan, Captain Ashton Macduff and Captain Aaron Vrail. The four military leaders have devoted the whole of the Resistances remaining recourses to dealing with the planet's most imminent threats. Whole platoons of soldiers have already been dispatched to provide relief rations to the places most wounded by the Occupation, primarily Africa and the Middle East. The Terran Fleet has also been put to work. Triremes have been dispatched to douse the forest fires raging across the Amazon forest, and Seraphim Carriers labor tirelessly to ferry injured civilians to medical camps. With the fighting done, our Terran leadership is devoting every effort to heal our war-torn planet.

Although Terra maintains a UCON and Taiyou presence on Terra, the majority of the Union forces have already moved on, pressing the Aschen Empire in their advance towards Langara. The TNG has not expressed any interesting in continuing the offensive against the Empire. "We need to settle down and focus on our own people," Captain Ashton MacDuff responded when asked about the TNG's continued involvement in the war, "taking the battlefront to Aschen space is a nice thought, but we didn't set out in this war to destroy the Empire. We fought to free Terra. Now that we've accomplished our goal, our highest priority is maintaining that freedom and returning our planet to a state of economic and social stability."

Whatever the future may hold, the people of Terra can at last sleep easy at night. After a year of bitter struggle under the Aschen oppression, we have at last reclaimed our homes and established our sovereignty as a nation once again. However bad things might seem, at least we once again have the power to make things right. And if there's anything we Terrans have learned in our short time as a sovereign nation, it's how to pick ourselves back up after falling down.

BEIJING: Following the liberation of Terra, and the subsequent withdrawal of the Aschen Military from Chinese homeland, and arrival of Terran officials, the National People's Congress has elected to begin the long road towards freedom from the foreign oppression that is the one world government. The People's Republic of China has vowed to shed the shackles of foreign oppression, and usher in a new age of prosperity for the East Asian bloc.

Following the announcement with the intention to secede, a parade has been held and the Military of our great nation has been reorganized and called to service, poised and prepared to fight whatever reaction the Terran Government will try and force upon our great nation. The Chinese People stand firm in their resolve for freedom and independence from the jurisdictions of united one world governments and threats of Alien Invaders. The Chinese people are ready to embrace a future where we make our own destiny.

As the Armies of the People's Republic mobilize, we await the future that comes to greet us.

“Ladies and Gentlemen… I present to you Mr. Gabriel Ereb, CEO of Ereb Industries, and Dr. Amanda Ereb, Director of Ereb Medical." Said the wiry man in the monkey suit at the podium.

There was an eruption of photography flashes and a rumble of inquisitive reporters as the two figures stepped out from the side room. One was an older man. He was clad in an exquisite midnight blue tailored suit that was adorned with onyx cufflinks. Emblazoned upon the cufflinks were open white hands formed from opal with the palms facing outward. Carved into the palms were intricate ruby triangles. An onyx ring wrapped around the middle finger of his left hand matched the sleeve ornaments. A deep purple necktie was tucked neatly beneath the collar of a snow white buttoned-down shirt and went into the suit jacket. White hair receded from his forehead and flowed downward in a sharply trimmed and groomed beard. Aged wrinkles marked his face as intelligent, observant, and lively blue eyes scanned the crowd.

Another person followed close behind the elderly businessman. She was an attractive young woman in her mid-twenties with sky blue eyes and glossy dark brown hair that fell to the center of her back. A long black skirt swayed along her knee-line as her heels clacked against the floor. Clothing her torso was a white buttoned-up blouse wrapped in a well-tailored black suit jacket. Her eyes bore the playfulness of a young lady, but also the ferocity of a woman out to prove herself in the business realm. Gripped in her manicured palm was a holographic tablet that buzzed with various economic and medical trivia that would be like hieroglyphs to the average person.

The old man cleared his throat.

“This is a difficult time for us.” He began. His voice bore an intelligent and dignified British accent. It was passionate, zealous, and moving.“We were just rising from the dark ashes of long bloody war, only to be struck down again by a faceless threat. Some of you are aware of what transpired the previous night at the Lectre Mansion, either through tabloids or perhaps even with your own eyes and ears. What happened… was a tragedy. Thousands of lives, lost within moments, all for the workings of a madman! Truly, this is a fracture that will scar us for untold years to come. However, we will rebuild. We will be triumphant in the face of this new threat – no, coward! This faceless coward that hides behind a mask of despair. I tell you now, people of Wing City, that we will not be afraid. We, Terrans, have been cast through the refining fire of tribulation on more than one account. Will we allow this terrorist to drive us into oblivion? By no means! I am here to offer you my greatest sympathy, and also the services of Ereb Industries in rebuilding our great world.”

There was a brief uproar of voices before the man pointed his aged finger at one of the reporters. “Mr. Ereb!” called out the reporter. “Can you tell us what exactly happened there?”

“Well my daughter and I were fortunate to remove ourselves from the premises before the true horror began. When we arrived, it seemed to be an ordinary social occasion – one where I wished to discuss business with a few other important figures of Wing City. However, shortly after our host had given out the drinks, he informed us that he had spiked them with some sort of drug. Now, I use the term drug loosely. Drugs are meant to heal. This, however, was a tool for Death – a poison! It was apparently designed to increase the power of a magic user’s energies exponentially until they were no longer able to control it. The poison eventually killed those who ingested it. In the chaos that ensued, the building collapsed in a terrible destructive inferno. Tragically, the majority of the guests did not survive. Fortunately, however, some were saved by the selfless sacrifice of a man we only know as Bob the Cosmic Horror. Now, do not let the title dismay you. This man gave his life to save all those he could.”

“Who is responsible for this?!” one of the other reporters cried.

“The host, or should I say mad scientist…” began Amanda Ereb,“was Elijah Alexander Kenton. His plot was to utilize the populace of the masquerade as test subjects for his deadly serum. It is believed that he may have survived the collapse of the mansion. So if anyone has any information on his arrest, please inform the Terran police as soon as possible. Also, our sources show that this drug as taken to the streets and has been labeled as Elysium, or magic beans. I advise that you not take this dangerous poison and inform local authorities on its distributors. This drug is not a narcotic. It may or may not have been engineered since the Lectre Mansion incident, but we believe it is still highly dangerous. We believe he may also be working with others.”

"Mr. Ereb, what will Ereb Industries do to combat this threat?” asked another reporter.

“Unfortunately, there is little we can do.” He replied. “I am only a scientist and a businessman – not a government official. However! I will promise that Ereb Industries will devout our full reservoir of resources to the reconstruction of Wing City and Terra. First, we will unearth the poor souls that still lie beneath the rubble of the mansion and deliver them to their families for a proper burial. Then we will rebuild the mansion. It will, however, not be the same. To honor the humble sacrifice of the man named Bob, Ereb Industries will construct a memorial in the courtyard to commemorate his heroism.

“Then… We will begin the rebuilding of Wing City. Ereb Industries will supply the city with the labor and resources needed to construct the buildings and landmarks that were destroyed during this long war. It is my dream – no, my goal – to see this world united and changed for the better. Through practical science, advanced medicine, clean and efficient energy, abundant food, proper housing, and much more… We will enter into a new day – a new age – for Terrans… For Man!”

The crowd erupted in a roar of cheers and applause.

Again, Wing City, Terra, we're no strangers to violence. To war. But what tends to be surprising is when the violence is outside of Gambit's Bar and isn't part of war or terrorism. I personally suspect this may be gang related to some extent, but at the same time...

It's Wing City. And earlier today in Wing City people at Thousand Mountains, a local restaraunt ran by one Sarah Horne and John Izumi, former leader of the Invictus turned recluse, died. And they died in bulk.

Witnesses reported seeing several young men enter the food join, heard several shots go off and saw people fleeing. Moments the local police and the Invictus were on the scene. Point for the good guys, right? Justice served, right? No.

Witnesses reported seeing a nearly naked young man completely decimating the Invictus and police officers on the street. Leaving behind him several dead men and women. Do we need a team of superheroes out there?

General Ta Hun Kwai and former Party Judge Ren Shu Ge broadcast a joint address to the Terran National Government earlier this week announcing the official secession of the People’s Republic of China.

This news comes on the heels of the Aschen withdrawal and the arrival of Union peacekeeping forces after years of war against the Aschen Empire.

“With the closure to the war that has ravaged our beloved homework for the last several years and the withdrawal of the Aschen Imperial Military from the East Asian bloc and the rest of Terra,” said Ge, “the National People's Congress has resolved to declare complete independence from all forms of foreign oppression and imperialism that would ever threaten the Chinese people with economic, political, and cultural subjugation. Aschen occupation is no worse than a single world government that silences the voices and freedoms of the Chinese people.”



He continued to add, “The glorious Armies of the People's Republic of China are mobilized and stand ready to defend against any encroachments upon our independence and sovereignty. It is time for our people to rise against the shackles of oppression and imperialism and to stake a new claim to our own destiny. We will no longer bow to the dictates of the Western-controlled Terran National Government; we are and forever will be independent and free."

Ge, formerly a judge, has been announced as the Premier of the People’s Republic of China, while Kwai is the nascent state’s military leader. China’s standing army has purportedly been mobilized over the course of the recent war. Ge and Kwai’s address promised retaliation if the TNG should choose not to recognize the Chinese declaration of independence.

Neither the standing military council, which is de facto responsible for running the planet, nor the TNG parliament are expected to recognize the Chinese secession. Some fear civil war, with renowned security scholar Nenad Drulović warning that Ge and Kwai’s speech will lead to an armed standoff with the TNG military that could result in a continuation of war.




A series of six sarin attacks have killed close to four hundred and wounded another seven hundred, says a spokesman from the National Police Agency.

The NPA is working with the Military Police and the Directorate of Military Intelligence to investigate the attacks, which may be the work of Aschen insurgents. An NPA official who asked not to be named said that a number of the Aschen former occupation officials have disappeared from the cities and are leading guerrilla-style terrorist attacks against Terran civilians and returning government officials.

Over eight hundred million Terrans have been displaced by the recent war and are currently living in refugee camps across the globe. The attacks targeted major refugee camps, including two in central Europe, three in South America, and one in North Africa.

“We’re just lucky that relatively few people have died,” said Kathryn Pettigrew, a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Social Services, which is nominally responsible for overseeing the refugee camps across Terra. “The attacks could have been much worse. We could be talking about thousands of victims. I know it’s not a popular thing to say, and I am truly sorry for those whose loved ones have died, but it can be beneficial to recognize that things could have been worse.”

Long-time TIB Acting Director Ahmad Fazari issued a brief statement to reassure the public that Terra’s intelligence agency has also contributed resources to support the civilian and military investigations into the attacks. The NPA’s spokesman said that the police agency is determined to find those responsible so they can be handed over for prosecution.

After years of imprisonment by the Aschen during the war and occupation followed by an extended sabbatical on Niihama, Arianne Drulović has returned home.

At the time of the Aschen invasion, Drulović was one of scores of elected and appointed officials who tenured resignations in protest of surrender to the Aschen Empire. She left Terra’s capital to teach part-time at the University of Texas, Dallas campus. Her daughter, Natalija Drulović, was facing murder charges at the time, and was being held near Dallas. A student in Drulović’s course on international relations said that an Aschen LDA agent interrupted class to take Drulović into custody on unspecified charges.

Drulović was declared missing by the Terran Resistance until the occupational authority later released propaganda posters featuring video stills of Drulović in Aschen custody. The video stills depicted Drulović partially conscious and badly beaten with several severed fingers, and were accompanied by captions warning Terrans against noncooperation with Aschen authorities.

After the release of the propaganda posters with images of Drulović, she disappeared from public view again, leaving many Terrans speculating the fate of the longtime intelligence czar. Some assumed that she had been killed until reports surfaced that Drulović was one of several hundred prisoners freed during an offensive on Ragnaar Anchorage.

Interim TIB Director Ahmad Fazari later confirmed that Drulović had been freed in the Ragnaar battle, and had traveled to Niihama on sabbatical, where she remained for the last few years until the recent Aschen withdrawal. Another source in the Terran military, who asked not to named because he was not permitted to discuss Drulović, said that Drulović was receiving psychiatric treatment on Niihama because her Aschen captors attempted to use brainwashing techniques on Terran prisoners.

“They had them hooked up to these computers,” said the unnamed source. “And the wires, the cables, they were doing something to the prisoners. Some kind of simulation, but they were led to believe it was real. I interviewed three of the freed detainees, and that’s what they all said. They were trapped in a false world.”

Drulović is widely expected to return to her duties leading the TIB within the next few weeks, but official sources have declined to comment.



Elysium in vial and needle

Police have been baffled by the sudden rise in Magic Beans sales across Terra.

Otherwise known as Elysium, Masquerade, or Avalon, the drug is a synthetic liquid that can be ingested or injected. Elysium is made with trace elements of several well-known barbiturates, stimulants, and opioids. The drug’s most dramatic effect is a massive increase in the arcane abilities of magic users who take it. Street sources claim that the drug’s manufacturer is an individual known only as Doctor Kenton.

Detox clinics have been flooded with addicts seeking reprieve from their Elysium addictions, while police have reported a significant increase in street calls and routine encounters with individuals under the influence of Elysium. This poses a particular problem for volatile magic users, who may inadvertently or intentionally harm bystanders while using Elysium because of their enhanced arcane abilities.

Tensions seem to be growing amongst some of Wing City's most prolific gangs. Just the other night members of the Casey Mob, a criminal organization based out of Dublin, Ireland, attacked and set fire to a small portion of Chinatown. Why? Racism and their ongoing turf war with the Yin Yang Tong, a Triad alliance that consists of two once rival gangs, the Black Hand Triad and White Tiger Triad both of Hong Kong.

Rumors have it that the Triads are getting ready to go to war, calling on their allies for favors and maybe even manpower in order to take on Team 4-Leaf.

Has Wing City exchanged one war of intergalactic proportion for one in the Underworld? Is gangland violence going to tear our city apart and make it a warzone once again?

I hate to say it, but with all that's been going on recently I wouldn't doubt that things are about to get crazy.

As you may or may not have heard CEDA is our company, our lifeline; that we are devoting to helping the community within Wing City and soon hopefully others to regain their strength and homeliness. As we speak Wing City is being torn apart slowly by violence and instability. It is unsafe for most people to walk the streets at night unless they are armed. We want to help the community come together and realise what this once beautiful utopia could be again, everything we do will first be made sure it suits your needs and not for personal gain. The company will run alongside the WCPD to help put away known criminals and eventually and hopefully lower the overall crime rate in Wing City. Making it a safer place to live for everybody. Thank you Steven. Hello people, my name is Jeremy. First of all I would like to reiterate what my fellow friend and work partner said to you all. Together we are as strong as a rock; we cannot be moved, we cannot be disturbed, but if we keep what we have going now up we are going to be like thousands of grains of sand on a cold, windy beach. They are tiny fragments of rock but are blown around in the wind like cardboard and pushed around by the tides. Together we are stronger and safer than any other community and we have what it takes to get there, we just need reforming and moulding; only after we have accepted we are each others futures we may continue living in peace and prosperity.

The short term goals of CEDA are to provide community restoration through abolishing petty crimes and other acts of disturbance to the well-being of each and every one of us. Providing aid and shelter for the shunned out, weak and unfortunate is another short term goal being achieved as we speak. Right now we have several shelters and stations based around Wing City center and surrounding areas helping those who ask for assistance. The long term goals for the company are to provide security for the growing population through surveillance and protection from danger. To provide only the best education and training for the generation growing up and learning about the world around them and finally to bring economical balance to the community. Not only the rich should be pampered and treated like royalty, those unfortunate souls who are left financially broken by the current economy will be priority. Priority for equal healthcare and education, housing and emancipation. In a stunning turn of events, Duke Lock and Duchess Key have brokered independence for the Erutin empire, freeing our grand people from the power of the Hegemony of Aligned Systems. While benevolent towards us, and indeed, a kind nation, many questioned why we submitted to their rule in the first place, under what was rumored to be merely regency, and became annexation.

Still, little matters now, as once more, we are a free and Independent Empire, in control of our own skies once more.

New Deveru, and indeed, all the empire, rings out with joy as bells call out our freedom over many world. Let all celebrate! Let all rejoice! We are once more free.

Celebrations are predicted to continue on into the next month, with parades lining capital city streets. Fireworks are a common sight each night, as all celebrate our regained independence.



In the most joyous news we know, Empress Wing lives on! The Empress, whom was previously believed dead, had been stranded instead on a minor planet, far from the colony on it, her personal Traveler having quickly gone back for more. Thanks to medical advances, the Empress has survived the loss of her twin, though she had been in a coma until shortly before the heinous attack by the evil Aschen of the imperial planet. For her safety, her death had been falsely reported, and her daughter assumed the throne.

Now, the empress is healthy and whole once more, and has returned to lead the glorious empire, reuniting her people as her daughter stepped down, and returned to the life to which she is accustomed. That this comes on the heels of the wonder of a once again Independent empire is simply astounding and proof that we live in the favor of the goddesses.

May the Twenty Goddesses continue to bless us all!

In light of her Mother's reappearance, Crown Princess Thistle, has stepped down from ruling entirely, and has chosen to renounce her claim to the throne, leaving no direct heir. The former Crown Princess instead will live life as a noble within her husband's culture, our long-time allies, the Hegemony of Aligned Systems.

While this does have the sad effect of leaving no heir, Empress Wing assures us that once the time of mourning for her husband and twin has passed, she will once more wed, and ensure that an heir will be born to guide the Empire on!

Our beloved Matriarch was cruelly taken from us by the hands of foul pirates, who shot down her ship as she traveled from the palace to her family’s home, a visit to her parents. Having denied the Emperor’s request to go well protected, she had only a few fighters with her, that cruel day.

By the time aid came, the Empress life was lost already to the cruelties of space, her ship have been damaged in the fighting. It was luck alone that the young Crown Princess did not remain on that ship. Luck alone that our young Viktoria remains with us.

We must purge our stars of the pirates who did this, and all like them! To this end, our eternal allies, the Erutin Empire, has pledged ships and men to patrol the stars, and strike down those who would dare harm the Empress.

We mourn today the loss of our Empress, the Matriarch, Sieglinde Redwing. Her death was at the hands of vicious pirates who cruelly attacked the Empress ship on a voyage home to see her family. The pirates were killed in the retaliating fire, the ship destroyed, but not until the Imperial ship on which the Empress traveled was heavily damaged, and the Empress within deceased, a shot having entered in the quarters she had been inside at the time of the attack.

Mysterious Man and Child at Palace!

Empress Wing has recently been spotted around the Imperial palace, and in public, with two figures clearly non-Erutin in nature. Who is this mystery man? Palace staff are mum on the issue, but could this mean our Empress has left her time of mourning?

If she has, then has she entered into relations with this mysterious man? An anonymous source close to the imperial family has revealed that the man’s name is Bolt, and the child, whom the Empress affectionately calls Viky, has been spotted riding on the back of Empress Wing in her natural form. The child delights in it, and the source reveals, the Empress often ends these rides by grooming little Viky.

Viky is believed to be the daughter of this mysterious ‘Bolt.’ As to where the two came from, or who they are to the Empress, it’s unknown, but it is certain that a close eye must be kept on this foreigner.

So far, sources have put them at the opera, the zoo, and even in the Imperial Gardens together. Viky’s ride are said to occur in the ball room of the palace. Indeed, they’ve even been seen on a picnic at a local playground, where Viky was allowed to play with other children, and both the Empress and this mysterious beau of hers were seen playing with the child.




Does the Empress Have a Secret lover?

Empress Wing has been traveling off planet often lately via Traveler, often unannounced and without the Imperial Guard accompanying her. What could the Empress be doing on these mysterious forays? Is she visiting someone?

Could Empress Wing have found a lover? Rumors are abounding with the appearance of a mysterious man in the palace. It seems she often disappears when the man is not here, and is often go hours at a time. It's early yet, but many believe that Empress Wing no longer mourns the death of her first husband, and instead seeks a replacement!

Is this man the replacement? Who and what is he? All we know is that Empress Wing disappears hours at a time, often dressed in foreign garb when she leaves and often she has small items, like souvenirs, when she returns from these visits to far off places.

Clearly a clandestine lover is at fault. Many times her hair is mussed and lips reddened when she returned from these visits.

The only question left now is if the mysterious man in the palace is the lover, or if the empress has found yet another man to replace her much loved husband.

We here at GNN give credit where credit is due. The Terran Militia and the WCPD have been cleaning house here in Wing City. It's good they start here, it's where most of the shit hits the Terran ceiling fan.

I've been catching up with Militia members and WCPD officers who have been the most prolific in keeping our city, our planet, safe. I was even able to get a few words of wisdom from our defenders:

"Oh, um, yeah we're jus' tryin' to make a difference and do the right thing. Normal people and shit helping maintain the law as a team." says Patchi Boy, a member of the Terran Militia.

"While I'm not a member myself, my team and I have been and will continue doing everything we can to assist the Militia and local law enforcement. We live here too." said Preston Emile, a member of the Invictus and spokesperson for an enigmatic member of the Terran Militia.

I don't know about you, but I kind of like the people who fight to keep us not dead.

It seems that the tragedy that had befallen the nation mere months before has given way to joy again, as our Emperor - the divine Josef Kampf - has not only found a woman of equal caliber that has caught his eye, but has genuinely courted her... and now, it seems, it's only a matter of time.

In a shocking move the palace announced today news that has captured the eyes and heart of the nation: our beloved Emperor is engaged. The courtship was, naturally, kept very quiet, his chosen woman going by the assumed name of Lady Sabine in order to avoid further attention from the masses - but that will be no more, with the announcement of engagement between our divine Emperor and the Empress Wing of our illustrious allies - the Erutin Empire.

It is no secret that our two nations have shared a long and bountiful history, that each nation has contributed to the other far more than any preceding relations, but this final step on the road to alliance seals our fate with that of our imperial brethren, and unites our two empires into one glorious state - one that will forge all the galaxies into one proper, united body; and who better to lead us than our Josef and their Wing?

The crown princess is reportedly one hundred percent behind the marriage, going to far as to already call Empress Wing her mother, and welcoming the foreign woman into her heart and home wholeheartedly. Viktoria was quoted as saying, according to our comrades at the Syndicate, as saying that "[Wing] is wonderful and fun and happy and mom!" Needless to say, it seems the Erutin Empress has made quite the splash in Imperial circles.





Empress Wing, like our own Emperor, was in a previous marriage and lost her husband, just as our divine leader lost his wife. In this previous marriage, she was gifted with four children.

Two of these were lost to the evils of Aschen savages. However, two children survived and migrated to the Hegemony. You may remember when Crown Prince Steel joined the Landwachter as a gesture of good will between our two nations. His sister shortly followed, and after the vicious Aschen attack on the Erutin capital, the duo abdicated their throne in favor of a regency of their cousins, Duke and Duchess Lock and Key.

They moved instead to the Hegemony of Aligned Systems full time, where the twins become Landwachter officers and married Hegemony citizens, eventually being granted a barony for their service to the Imperial throne.

With their marriages came children, whom are not in line for the Imperial throne but are still considered a part of Imperial nobility.

Lady Thistle's marriage to an NHA Pilot named Erich Brenner produced sextuplets in a miracle of birth, earning her the motherhood award with her first and sole pregnancy. The children, all age 12, are, in order of birth, Kaiser, Niko, Stahl, Tomas, Winifred and Liese.

Baron Steel's marriage to a young baroness Nixie Conner has yielded a single child in comparison, a young Annett, age 5.

This bring the total number of new additions to the Imperial family to seven new children, and four adults, thanks to the marriage. Our people are truly blessed as a nation to get to be a part of the lives of such a large and noble family.

Following a long and bloody conflict, with the sudden disappearance of our sworn Scatterran enemies, the United Coalition of Organized Nations. The United Aschen Empire has decided it prudent to call a conditional armistice with the Terran Government. The Terms of the Armistice are rather simple, and benefit both parties involved. With the arrival of CPF Forces to Terra, along with other civilian agencies to aid in the reconstruction of what was damaged in the initial conflict. The Empire finds itself in a unique position to secure it's world without rebellion from the Terrans or their weak government.

The Initial phases of the proposed reconstruction would be the recovery of damaged Terran assets, in addition to the repayment of all debts owed. During this process, Aschen forces will provide additional Security to protect Terran interests. The Empire will rebuild, and it will realize it's long sought out goal of a safe and secure society under our Divine Shadow!

To Promote the free trade and travel of all peoples inside and outside the domain of the United Aschen Empire, the restrictions imposed on Aschen international borders per the Aschen Confederation Security Reinvestment Act (ACSRA) Have been revised or repealed. * Tourism
Foreign Nationals demonstrating a valid citizenship and passport documents may obtain a tourism visa at any LDA Kiosk upon entry into the United Aschen Empire. These Visas may be obtained in the Spaceport of arrival. The following documents are required to obtain a tourism visa. Those holding a tourism visa may stay within the United Aschen Empire for a period not exceeding Three weeks.

The Process to obtain a Tourism Visa is as follows, it is recommended you start the process six months prior to your departure.

Note: Repeat visitors to the United Aschen Empire who visit before the expiration of their Visa do not need to apply or consent to a background check, simply log their visit with the Langaran Defense Agency.

1. Application of Tourism - Document stating the length and nature of your visit to the United Aschen Empire. A Tourism Visa is valid for three months after application.

2. Consent to background check. - To eliminate security risks, we ask that you provide proof of a background check before applying for a Visa. It is asked you begin this process six months before your departure to allow adequate time for background check completion.

3. Consent to registration of biometric data. - To ensure future background checks, we ask that you provide your DNA for storage and Coding, all information pertaining to you will be kept under your biometric data, including all offenses committed in the United Aschen Empire.

4. Consent to reference check. - To eliminate the possibility of terrorism, we ask you provide two references three months before your departure that we may contact.

5. Enjoy your stay! - To ensure a speedy admittance, ensure all your documents and checks have been processed, and you present a valid Visa to Imperial officials.

Those interested in working within the Aschen Empire may apply for a workers or a business Visa, a Business Visa is valid for five (5) Years from the date of approval. A workers visa, unlike a Tourism Visa enables a person to obtain a job, and reside in the United Aschen Empire for a period of up to Five years, after which the individual may apply for Residency, or return to their country of origin.

The Following is the application process to obtain a worker's visa.

1. A Valid offer of employment from an Aschen company. - To obtain a worker's visa, you must provide proof of employment with an Aschen employer on an Aschen world, the Company must also register for your visa as an employer. The Employer is responsible for conducting background checks on the worker candidate.

2. Consent to the registration of Biometric data. - To ensure consistent record keeping, we ask you submit your DNA to the central registry.

3. Valid foreign citizenship documents and passport.

1. Those with a Felony conviction of any kind are not welcome in the United Aschen Empire.

2. Those who violate the terms of their Visa agreement will be deported and registered as an unwanted person, and barred future Entry.

3. Foreign nationals charged with a violation of Aschen penal law and convicted will be deported and barred future entry.

4. Those placed on a 'Persona Non Grata' list kept and maintained by the Langaran Defense Agency will be barred Entry, illegal entry will be prosecuted as a Class 1 Felony.
