The Old Gods of Arcanum are dying in their world as Steam Technology and the Master Builder take root in the very souls on that world. Naar, the Old God of Death and Decay fled from the world by unknown means and attached himself to Terra in the Sol System. Desmond Bornholdt the Avatar of Naar begins to seduce and manipulate those who he meets in order to begin building the foothold Naar needs to spread plague, famine, suffering, and death on Terra.
Naar builds his strength and waits to tip the balance of the scales, bringing mass death to Terra, a goal he never achieved on Arcanum.
The Shadow of Naar does not go unnoticed. A Group of adventures, new acquaintances and old friends, have begun to gather after sighting a mysterious meteor that had crashed into The Ruins just outside Wing City.
They begin their journey to defeat and remove the evil taint of Naar on Terra, but first they have to defeat a more important task: Dhaelhel (a fallen god of Arcanum) refuses to give Nachytsm (a one-armed demonoid man) back his pet chicken, Nel (a normal chicken), and Jarlas (a zombie) battles his lack of blood flow in order to indulge in his womanizing habits while poor Curtana ( a shy half-elf girl) wishes she had never set eyes on the meteor leaving Maree (an elf wizard) and Al'Kaera (another elf) to spend time together catching up with each other after not seeing each other for fifty years.
How will the balance be tipped?
Will Naar spread his taint and become the new God of Death on Terra or will the hodge-podge group of people shed light into the eyes of Evil?

That is the basis of the story that has begun so far in The Multiverse. I am looking for players who have a darker side to their character to interact with Desmond Bornholdt and Naar. However, if you like playing a more "good" aligned character, I am not opposed to adding more characters with the group already formed.

Note: This is not a fast paced game. This is not for players who like multiple responses in one day. Many of the players already involved have full time jobs/careers and do not have hours upon hours to spend writing. We are patient and we all take turns posting so that everyone is included.
