Silent stopped in his tracks as a sudden force flew thru him...another vampire aged with expierence. He had felt it many times, a vampire letting its power ring forth. At first he thought it to be virgil again, it rang witht he same strength as he had felt in the station but something was diffrent...a female. The wave over powered his curiousity. turning he followed it back to its source to find virgil, the half breed from the station, and the source of the incredible strength only time could develope with. Dark...he muttered in his own brain. A vampire that had been in the agencies list to be watched over for awhile, but she dropped off of it around his return to the agency. He sat and watched as the half breed held a blade in virgil, and Dark starred him down. She might just get his job done for him, well eliminate one of many now...he was irritated that so many had shown themselves in this city. The agency had to have known they were here but 'declined' to give him this information.

Virgil sighed a heavy sigh. He didn't feel like this right now. When the Slayer missed. Virgil side stepped and looked at him. "Boy, once a night isn't enough? I've bested you in battle, and in power tonight once already."

He heard the female vampire speak to him. She wanted a fight. "Strange, very strange indeed." Virgil though to himself. Most Vampiric women were not fighters. Perhaps on a rare occasion, and thats it. This was one of those occasions. Looking back to the Slayer. "Boy, I've sworn an oath not to kill, or cause anymore violence this evening, so attack me all you'd like, you know, and I know, there is no way you can kill me." He said more so as a complaint. He wanted to just kill him and have it be done with, but, Virgil, although a slave to indulgences, kept his word on things. "But perhaps, she would like a fight...I'm sure your rage would be satisfied. After all, she'll probably kill you, which saddens me...because I wanted the pleasure of doing that later on. But oh well." He positioned himself, and sat down on the stoop of the building. The windows and doors were slightly rattled. Virgil picked up on it long ago. Dark was beginning to feel it. The feeling of blood rage, or more commonly referred to as, blood lust.

Her power intrigued Virgil. She didn't seem like the friendly type though. But he wasn't looking for a type in particular, just another Vampire to be acquainted with. Finding one of age, and power, surprised Virgil. He felt her power, and he wanted to know more about it. Perhaps later, he would test her in his own way. It would be quite enthralling to battle her. Though Virgil wouldn't strike her down, the battle would be more of a handshake, a test of age and power one could say. It was done in the old days. He now sat, calmly on the stoop, with his breifcase in his hand, watching, and waiting for them to face off.

Kurt grabbed a hold of himself. "Look, I'm after that coward, not you. Maybe later, I'm sure you drink blood like a parasite, too"
He ran up to the sitting virgil, and delivered a flying kick to his head, knocking him over. "Look. your vow means nothing to me, you used innocent lives in a game to get your way. YOU WILL PAY."
"She called me late last night, to say she loved me so.
But I guess you changed her mind.
Well I should have known it wouldn't be all right,
But I can't live without her
So I won't even try...
And if I get drunk, then I'll pass out on the floor now baby.
Cause you won't bother me no more.
And if you're drinking, well you know that you're my friend and I say
I guess I'll have myself a beer."

The guy blew her off.

Wait, it gets better.

The guy blew her off.

Dark being the her spoken of.

Dark also being the her that didn't like it when people ignored her.

The small muscle beneath her left eye began to jump. Her body tensed, but she didn't sping forward and rip the new guy to pieces like she wanted to. Nay, Dark showed restraint. She ignored the guy right back, drawing her power back into herself. Like a vacuum left by sucking the air out of a container, the void left by the absence of power palatable. Dark narrowed her eyes at the guy, but did nothing else.

It would doo her no good torip him to many small pieces like she desperately wanted too. Besides, there were too many witnesses. Sighing, she turned her back to both Virgil and the other guy and walked away. It was far to troublesome to stick around.

Silent sat there, astonished that Dark had not attacked and that virgil had not either. Well virgil was of the old breed, he was not really surprised that he kept his word. ~*you know you told me you would not kill friend, if he lives at the end of the bout you have not killed him. I will keep your other friend occupied, if she would indulge into me at any rate.*~ he watched dark walking away. Antisocial, yet surprising her blood lust was evident but she walked away. ~*The ever feared Dark.*~ he came down behind her and bowed when they were a moderate amount away from the others.~*you care nothing of formailites So i will go ahead and ask my question. might I inquire as too why a pirate has been on land so long?*~

Dark started slightly as yet another vampire approached her. Too many people at once. That made it three. In one night. For crying out loud, the moon hadn't even reached its zenith yet! Sighing, Dark turned to face the man, still walking as she did so. He addressed her by her name, which was mildly surprising, but when he continued, Dark guessed his game. Not to many people would look at her and peg her a pirate. She wasn't even wearing her favorite outfit, though the one she was currently clothed in was a personal favorite, it wasn't exactly what she'd choose to wear if she was planning on going out to kill. Ah, but it seemed she'd end up killing tonight anyway. Such is life.

"When a capitain has no crew, it is a fool's gamble to present yourself to the open sea. And I am no fool."

Dark turned back and kept walking, her dark mood slowlt fading away. She had remarkable self-control really. Closing her eyes for a moment, Dark cleared her head of all residual thoughts of destruction and mayhem, choosing to instead concentrate on her strides. She was not interested in a petty squabble.

Silent grinned silently to himself as she turned. ~*Surely you could gain a crew in no time? Sail like you once had? Surely*~ Silent follwed at an equal pace, keep distance aswell. He felt her clearing her thoughts as he dove back in to talk to her. ~*ever the unsociable? Perhapes why everyone seems to believe you have fallen off the face of the earth.*~

"And pray tell, what would be the point in all that? What could I possibly hope to attain? A new crew isn't exactly an easy thing to come by, especially when you call my own incredibly rigorous standards into play. People and vampires of this day and age seem to lack the sense of responsibility, devotion and absolute loyalty that is required to be a part of a reasonably fair crew."

Dark didn't turn the face the man this time, instead she walked faster, her strides elongating to their full stretch.

"Who are you to be asking me these questions, anyway? If I choose to fade into obscurity, or at least duck out of the limelight for a moment, who are you to call back things and memories and people best left forgotten? I do not remember giving anyone free range to pester me about my decisions and quiz me about my past. And I'm not unsociable as much as everyone thinks. I just don't like talking with idiots, which is all anyone seems to be in this era."

silent chuckled slightly to himself. ~*Who am I? A simple part of the past I suppose. Silent is what they call me, and i was simply aquiring into you for my own knowledge, after all what are we without it? As for Idiots, they have plagued this world for 1500 years.....nothing has changed in that time span.*~ He had stopped walking and she was becoming smaller. ~*good night dark, I will pester you no further for tonight, but I would leave you with a little warning. As I said to virgil earlier this evening. Slayers are out in force, your a fighter no doubt but when they gather together they are a force as well, and I would remind you that we are very much killable..., until next time.*~ he bowed to her fading figure and looked around. Had virgil kept his promise or was one dead? Silent remembered a few other slayer profiles he ran across in this city, enough playinglets find these others...but where to start?

" 'm not that easy to kill boyo...." Dark muttered under her breath as she walked away from Silent.

She had gotten nothing out of the brief encounter with Silent, literally and figuratively. All she was really left with was his name and a new wave of anger. Sighing, Dark did her best to supress her growing urge to massacre anyone she could get her hands on. It would serve no productive means if she went about killing peoples. It wasn't nice, and it tended to get a bunch of Slayers involved. Not like Darkreally cared if Slayers got themselves into scraps with her, she actually enjoyed killing Slayers. T'was very cathardic. That and it made the world a little bit safer for vampires everywhere. Most of the time, Dark didn't really care about the other vampires around her beyond the fact that they were occasionally fair hands at playing chess, but she didn't like them getting killed. They were her kin after all, and kin was pretty close to crew.

Or something like that.

Shrugging, Dark found a new wall to lean on and leaned upon it. Now she would wait again. And hope that no one else came around to bother her.

( This is getting boring, i'll stop the fight)
Kurt was pissed. Virgil lost him this time. Shit, that trick is getting annoying He went in search of this new girl. She seemed to be the type to kill, but does she is the question. Finding her against the wall.
"So tell me, do you act like him back there, kill and run, or do you face the penelties before you? Or even better, do you kill for blood?"

Dark's eyebrow arched delicately. The same dude that had blown her off earlier was back and asking her more bothersome questions. She figured she might as well answer them to humor the guy and then he might leave her alone.

"I kill to kill. I enjoy ending people's lives and I don't care to run away. Blood is just a happy bonus. What am I other than a vampire? A killer. A pirate. A denizen of the oceans of lore. I hope you are not here to merely quiz me on my moral standings. Please tell me you are here to either offer blood, battle or both. If not, get your sorry ass out of range. I have no patience for people such as yourself."

Dark narrowed her eyes just to get the point across and then turned her head away from the guy. She was done with this.

Kurt laughed a bit "Your terms are quite different than mine for company. Tsk Tsk, wrong answer, looks like I have two people to hunt, Virgil, and you. So, unless you feel like stopping killing, looks like me and you are enemies. I find it pathetic you need to live off of the living, instead of being a good vampire, and stealing from the blood bank. So how do want to do this, you sound like a more reasonable vampire. We can just fight, or maybe start some 'nightly fun' before we engage in a duel. Hell, at this point, I'm willing to play a round of cards if it means you'll fight fair."

Dark's hands clenched. Who was this brat to think that he could demand that she stop taking blood from beating hearts? And now he was hunting her like some scared little animal? This would not do. Dark's blood-rage rose again, like bile in her throat, only this time she didn't bother locking it back down. The man had just practically begged for battle. Battle that he had spurned not minutes before. Apparently he had a death wish. And Dark was more than willing to comply with his wishes.

"Pathetic? Dare ye call the once and future Captain of the great ship Edge a coward as well?"

Without even realizing it, Dark's old accent had started to leak through. Her rage was growing to the point of no return. The guy would either beg for forgivness at her feet or be ground into the asphalt. There was no third option.

"I may be a pirate, but nevah presume that ah'd be stupid enough to steal what rightfully belongs to me."

Shadows reached up, caressing Dark's skin before engulfing her whole. They knew what was coming, and they knew that their master would be pleased if they did what she wanted without being asked. As quickly as they had detatched themselves from the earth, they were back to their normal positions, leaving Dark's form. Now, instead of her usual outfit, she wore the clothing she gaine her notoriety in. A white blouse, covered with a tightly-fitting black vest, the slightest ruffle of a cravat coming out of the v-neck of the vest. Her pants hung loosely off her lithe frame, and boots fitting any pirate were affixed to her feet. She wore a well-worn jacket, all buttons undone so it was free to flap about over her outfit. The edges were rather tattered and stained brown from being dragged through all manner of gunk. The cuffs were rolled so her hands were free, revealing the edge of her white blouse's sleeve, but nothing more. Atop her head sat a three-cornered had, in the same worn condition as her jacket. She wore no jewlery, however the way the fabrics that formed her clothing were cut, it gave her an almost regal air. Elegant, even.

"Ah'nd Ah'm only interested een games that eenvolve all mannahs of bloodshed."

Dark grinned, revealing nearly two-inch long canines that had a wicked curve.

"Boyo, Ah'm a pirate. D'yah reallah think Ah'm going tae fight fair?"

"It seems I've angered you with my comments of taking blood from bags. I guess your not as reasonable as I thought, eh blackbeard." He stood in his usual fighting stance, and holding a knife blade down in one of his hands. "You must want to go straight to fighting, opposed to a free meal or a trip to motel first." He continued to joke, angry vampires usually were less tatical, and less concentraited. "Well, make your move."

"What'd make yeh think that Ah'd pass up a chance tae rip a mongrel like you to pieces? Blood can wait, but trashin' yeh apparently can't."

Dark grinned lopsidely, her crimson eyes closing as her grin grew.

"Ah'nd for yer infourmation, Blackbeahd was a pansy compared tae the monstrositae that is mahself."

Dark opened her left hand wide, the shadows rising up again to wrap around her wrist, then extending outwards at her command. The shadows departed much as they had earlier, leaving behind the wickedly sharp scimitar that Dark loved. She swung it with delicate grace, the blade practically humming as she did so. Her tri-cornered hat was low on her brow, and as she ducked her head as a short sort of mock bow to her opponent, the leading corner obscured her face from view. Which was probably a good thing, because Dark was grinning like a woman possessed, and grinning wasn't exactly the most frightening things one could do in battle. Sure, it was freaky, but Dark didn't do freaky. She did shit-your-pants scary. T'was her thing and whatnot. Her grin faded, but the domaneering and palatable shadowy power was back.

Windows shook in their frames, as if frightened of this maddening presence in front of them. Dark's grip tightened on her scimitar as she continued to swing it back and forth, like a pendulum from hell. The blade sang as she swung it, a sweet, clear note that resonated alongside Dark's dark aura. Dark finally looked up, all merriment gone from her expression. Her face was as blank as an unadorned refrigerator door. But there was a spark, a light of flame in her eyes that set them aglow like an ember stoked back into life. And with that glance, Dark rushed forward, her scimitar swing in a dizzying display of swordsmanship and ability. The blade itself kept humming it's mournful tune even as it left blurring silvery after-images in its wake.

"Nae, yeh make your move!"

And with that, Dark struck. Her blade flashed up, down, to the left and right, diagonally, slantways and backwards. She switched hands and pressed the attack, sending her blade lashing outwards to kiss the flesh of her opponent, but never with enough force to cause any substantial damage to the man. She was going to beat him down. For the hell of it.

Ic: Virgil

Following the attack that was done to him by the Slayer, Virgil didn't counter. He kept his word, but if this boy kept on persisting, it would only be right for him to retaliate, regardless of his oath to Silent. He watched as the slayer decided to go after Dark. Teleporting up to a near by balcony, Virgil watched on. The two of them began to talk, and talk. He took note of Dark's accent. "She's a pirate...wow." Virgil found that quite interesting. He wondered if he may have ran into her in the past, and just not remembered. Then he felt her release her grip on the power she held back. He seemed if he was on the edge of his seat now, this was going to get interesting, and by god, he would watch.

Ic: Riker

"Man, I'm sick of waiting around." He said aloud to himself. He decided to take off without Jimmy. Walking through the office, he nodded to a few fellow slayers, and took off into the night. Reports of a bloodbath at the trainstation had come in about an hour ago. "Might as well start there..." He thought to himself.

As he arrived, he decided to look around. He found that a few of them weren't killed in there initial attack. "These wounds seem to be done, by smaller fangs. A half breed." He thought to himself. If he encountered any half breeds tonight, he would question them.

Oh, and he couldn't forget the woman from the previous night, oh no. "If I run into her, that would be the light of my night." He though, rubbing the fresh scar under his left eye. He hadn't went all out on her, but he figured she would be quite the powerful one. He was surprised she was alone, usually the powerful ones were surrounded by weaker followers.

Passing by, his ability kicked in. He could see who was a vampire, and who wasn't. He stopped a few times. Effectively, he peeled back a few vamp caps. Driving on, there was something no one could miss, a vibration. Following to it's source, he wasn't surprised to find her. She was about to face off against a fellow Slayer. This seemed more like a street fight. He pulled up to the fight and parked across the street. He noticed the Slayer was a half breed. Going into his trunk, he pulled out a blood packet. "Hey buddy!" He said to his fellow slayer. He tossed the packet to his feet. "Just incase you're hungry. Anyway, I got your back. But I wont step in." He looked at Dark. "We meet again aye beautiful?" He said as he winked at her.

As the blade drew closer to Kurt, he began playing limbo, bending back enough to let the blade cut off one of his coats buttons. He stood up straight. Son of a b****, shes good with that sword The sword came for him again, and Kurt locked it in place with his knife. "You're like a joke from Pirates of the Caribean " He said as he kicked the sword off to the right, sending it off a couple inches. "Why don't you just lay down, and poke yourself with that thing?" He noticed the man pull up. "Thanks, but I'm good, patting his pocket with liquidy sound. "As far as stepping in." He said as he dogded "Look for anthor like her, his name's VIrgil. He killed everyone in the station because I-" He jumped over the blade as it went for his legs.

Silent paused had returned to the train station, wondering if they slow s.o.s. had sent out their hounds to check it out yet or not. He caught site of a rather decent sized human, riker. He reconized him from the profiles he noticed him pause after following him for a few minutes and he himself stopped to think, did he notice me, but then he felt the energy same as before. He was to intent on watching Rikers every movement, studying him, to pick up on it sooner. It was Dark, again? Rushing along through the shadows he arrived building oppisite of virgil. He looked across to him, then down to the pair about to fight, just then riker pulled up. How did he know where to go exactly he wondered? A small audeince had gathered it seemed. Silent sat and watched Dark's blades whirl around. beautiful he thought to himself. he had a light grin on his face. Though he could not see with his eyes his other senses allowed him to remake the fight as it hapened in his head. For a moment he paused and looked on as riker tossed his companion a blood packet and they talked saying something about virgil. ~*Seems you would have two that know your name now. Will you continue showing that honorable side of you tonight virgil?*~ paying attention to the packet off blood he could taste it in the air, even through the container it was held in. Half breeds who dont feed directly on humans are no diffrent if they drink human blood he thought, with feelings of hatred towards his own kind for drinking the same thing, simply because they dont have the stimache for it, or believe they are saving some life. Where do they get off? That blood packet was taken from someone to help others survive, inadvertantly it was all the same. His mind was back on the fight, and the knew slayer, Riker.

ooc: sry for not posting for so long, busy life

Jim: Jim arrived at the scene late, he had had to go talk to the old man, and that always took along time. (Old man=leader) So he got to the scene and saw what was happening. He stopped, and was about to just sit back when he saw the other slayer was Kurt. That ass had messed him up the other day. Jim smiled, maybe it's time i got a fight. He ran forward, pulled out his pistol and fired twice, one hitting Kurt's knife, the other the womans sword. He pulled out his sword and charged forward jump kicking Kurt. (As you can see, Jim doesn't know how to handle anger very well, so he usually just doesn't get angry) He then turned and faced the vampire. "Sorry Kurt, you go chase after your love affair, I'll take this one." He pulled up his sword, "So why don't you try taking on someone with a little more skill, and a few more kills under his belt.
Let your soul Burn!!!

Life is to short to give up, never stop fighting.

The blade is a tool and a way of life.
