@Saya I completed the assignment. Decided to go with an actual mook from Bloodborne, though I think there's only one of them in the game...but since they look like mini Cleric Beasts, I made them into mooks. They'll be in the area Irie will show up in as a lead-up to my next boss. XD We had an animal and a human so I combined them into a beastman. Beastmen are always necessary mooks to me. XD

@Guardian Daichi seems to be slightly interested. Though a lot can happen over the course of 5 days. XD

That's interesting. Rare that I see a post-game that allows access to Unova things. From what my friend said, DNA splicers aren't even available in 6.5 yet.

@Scythe Beastmen make for interesting mooks regardless. So I take it that you'll be writing the entrance for the next boss then? Terrain is tunnel network underground so even if it's not yet Nighttime, it's perfectly okay for a boss to move about.

I was a bit busy with family and what not but all is good, don't worry. I have almost too much free time and don't quite know what to do with it. XD For now, I conducted a sort of challenge for myself. Leaf Green, Soul Silver, Emerald and Platinum; I wanna try to beat these games by the end of my three week break. XD I've already beaten the first gyms on all four in the span of 2 days but that's not exactly an accomplishment. XD Also, I might be writing a Hotaru Art College one shot. XD

OOC post came a bit late because of me trying to learn His Theme + Bergentruckung/ASGORE on guitar, and hunting for icons to spruce up the AmaZaki pair's icons...aside from turning my Kamukura icon to a Hinata one. XD

About my boss, yeah, I plan on throwing him into the Bestiary soon. AmaZaki is ready for any challenge...well, as soon as they get back together that is. XD

EDIT: Now I even changed up my signature. Sorry Lancelot but the HinaNami game too strong ~~and i just ended up loving chiaki more than i admired lancelot's awesome armor~~

@Saya I uploaded Sewer Vanguard to the Bestiary and settled his introduction post. First phase will probably be escaping to the Ironworks (Kurona and Irie), then we can have them all meet up and find a way to kill Sewer Vanguard, like the Pinwheel fight. Also, I might introduce the mechanic I've been talking to you about in this fight if that's fine.

So Isshiki's afflicted by ~~despair~~ a frenzy, Daichi's being a nice guy- despite Kouhei not believing in the power of hope- and Irie is wounded! All in all, all according to plan. XD
Irie's forearm wound is a reference to Chiaki's wound in her DR3 execution. Would have had it on the upper arm, but I decided to be a bit more merciful and let her deal with a forearm wound instead. XD

@Aeli-chan Hmm...Cousins tend to get less annoying once they start growing up fortunately. It's just a little disheartening to see all your relatives going places and opening big presents for Christmas Eve while you're stuck inside the house with nothing to do. (Don't intend on building my other Kotobukiya kits as I don't have the right paint yet)

@Scythe Yep. Nothing--just wanted to do something dark but I don't really have problems otherwise...Actually, I've got a bunch of problems; they just don't have anything to do with you guys. XD

A bit of news though: I may not be able to post from 28 to...January 2, I think? My grandfather from my mother's side just passed away this Christmas morning so we'll be heading home in the province during that time to attend his funeral.

Post news: There it is! I've been waiting to make this post for so long! Here's the mechanic I was talking about- the Corruption Meter! The Corruption Meter is a way of justifying Isshiki's ~~protagonist powers and plot armor~~ skills and ability to defeat boss monsters. Remember that dickbag in his brain telling him to kill stuff? Yeah, that's him.
Pros:
-Ability to commit ~~protagonist powers~~ extraordinary feats against boss monsters
-You look cool doing it
-Saving your waifu is now easier
Cons:
-Using it too much will trigger a bad end for Isshiki
-Only works at Nighttime and boss monsters
-You may become a monster who has a thing for blind girls

So yeah, no Daichi post for now because my computer internet died and it's hard to code. XD

So it's been a very long while, and since Saya's out I'm just gonna be leaving an update on what I've been doing: I've mainly been playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky (too lazy to get Time and Darkness). While I would have wanted to document the entire thing as I did with Conquest on the 386 OOC, I sadly got too engrossed in the game and kept playing...and playing...and playing until I realized "oh shit i did not document it" and freaked.

But in any case, here's the few things I got:
So I started off as Ridou the Treecko and Yurin the Vulpix. (YuRidou mood) Yurin is still a massive coward- thanks to the partner's dialogue- but while she can be OOC at times:

She can also be hilarious in character:

"yurin what the fuck"
"HELP!!!!"
And these two fools became an exploration team! (mainly yurin wanting to go exploring and ridou suffering in silence) They took on many challenges together!

"NOBODY LEAVES HERE ALIVE!!"
"Eep! No! I wanna leave alive!"
They triumphed over Legends (somehow):

They met many friends:

Ridou met many ~~love rivals~~ companions:

~~"grovyle the fuck u doing stealin my bae"~~

And this is where it gets serious: The only part I managed to document really well, actually. So we're on a mission to stop the planet's paralysis and shit, and of course we gotta run into Grovyle's pursuer and Dialga's agent, Dusknoir. I knew I shouldn't have trusted him, holy shit. XD So after a long-fought battle (the Sableyes made it hard, and Dusknoir had a shitton of HP what the hell) we beat him!
But wait! What the hell is Dusknoir talking about? We're going to disappear if we change history? ~~but wait does that mean im only going to be born if we dont save the world??~~

~~damn right she will grovyle~~

~~ridou what the fuck you're not hajime hinata~~
But Dusknoir tries to kill us again and Grovyle finally ends up:

~~no wait grovyle fuck man i didnt mean it just dont steal my bae wtf nooo~~

GROVYLE NOOOOO
~~but hes apparently yuridou shipper too~~

So we set out to beat some sense into Dialga, who's apparently going apeshit because of the Temporal Tower collapsing. You'd think as a Legendary who owns his house he wouldn't be affected but nuh. XD So after using certain tactics to beat the hell out of Dialga- mainly having Yurin and Ridou both swallow down Violent Seeds to max out Attack and Sp. Attack, then beating Dialga with Flamethrower + Brick Break (AKA Ridou's super secret technique) and tossing Sleep Seeds at him whenever he pauses, we finally manage to beat him!

So Yurin goes ahead and installs the Time Gears, Temporal Tower is collapsing, Dialga returns to normal, shit happens, oh and did I mention ridou's dying??
No I mean literally- he's fading out of existence.

No but seriously this is one of the saddest scenes I've seen in Pokemon. Seriously. I mean look at this (double hurt for me because YuRidou is my second favorite hetero ship- with myself-, bested only by AmaZaki) This isn't the complete conversation but try to make as much sense of it as you can:

Your partner (in my case Yurin) breaking down in this scene is the saddest part of this entire scene.

Yurin now has to carry the burden of Ridou's last wish for her to keep on living and:

Goddamnit Ridou why you gotta die. XD

So months pass, guild goes back to normal. Yurin decides to go for a walk at the beach because why the fuck not and starts reminiscing about her memories with Ridou:

BUT WAIT

~~"haha just kidding im not dead i just played fireworks and left for a couple months"~~
No but Dialga brought him back because he did not want Yurin to despair I guess. XD But at least the story ends on a happy note!

~~haha no just kidding these two did not have a child~~

I'll leave it at that because good god do I need to calm myself from all the YuRidou feels and shit. XD

But overall, Explorers of Sky was a damn fine game. The story was engrossing, the community of the guild was very amusing- shit, now that's a real community- and I had fun playing it in general! A lot more fun than Red Rescue Team, I'll say. The stuff gets very emotional too- Grovyle's sacrifice was one of the saddest scenes- and also hints at romance every now and then- Sunflora and Loudred, plus Grovyle and Celebi- so it came off as a lot more friendly to me. Overall, great game 10/10 would recommend. XD

With that, I'll leave to you this tiny YuRidou scene I managed to derive from my scenes:
The entire town was cheering- the situation was almost dream-like even as a Cranidos's arm slung around Ridou's shoulders, Rano flashing him a cheeky grin.
"Three cheers to the guy who came back from the dead!" "I-I wouldn't put it that way, Rano."
"Y-Yurin! Ridou!"
Another voice piped in. Turning, they spotted a familiar Chansey running over. "W-What's wrong...?"
"T-The egg you two had-- It's hatching!"
Awkward silence settled over the Juice Bar for a brief moment. Ridou, stunned, stared blankly ahead before a few words tumbled out of his mouth.
"...Y-You mean I'm a dad?"
"...H-HEY! RIDOU! WHAT'S THIS ABOUT?!" "Seriously?! Yurin! What's going on?!"
"E-Eep! It's not w-what you think it i-is!" "IT'S NOT OURS! MAGNEZONE GAVE IT TO US!"
im sorry i just find it hilarious that magnezone gave me an egg for arresting a natu and good god. XD

Rather weak post but, I think it's enough to move us along. It's a little difficult to write with horns and firecrackers blasting all around you.

@Aeli-chan Thanks. I'm doing fine but it's just been a very stressful week. There's my grandfather's wake which is in the province so we needed to drive there. Then it's meeting relatives and cousins (complete with comparisons and teasing of course. Not as bad as it was last time though.). Then there's the procession where we marched a long way and back. The day after that we needed to go home and I had to pay our utility bills. Then it was shopping for the food we'll be cooking for the New Year.

As I said, really tiring. I guess holidays aren't that much fun once you're the one preparing for it. Especially if someone's breathing down your neck all the time.

@Sai Plans are good. Also, congrats for finishing the first half of the game. I still recall the times I played Red Rescue Team on my GBA. Rather nostalgic. It's fun to play Pokemon again without worrying too much about stats and whatnot.

Well, I should be back to my full writing capacity after New Year so we'll be picking up the pace again! Besides, even if the holidays just passed by in a drag for me since I just felt so tired all the time, I did manage to get something out of it.

Hope you guys enjoyed your holidays! Soon, we'll officially be members of RPG for three years. That's something to look forward to, at least.

And while you guys have been busy, I've been doing a fat load of nothing. XD Whether it's Huniepop, Pokémon, Animal Crossing or just MySims Kingdom, I've just been playing video games interspersed with 5 hour naps. XD It's really not as fun as it sounds mainly because I want to write but my brain keeps making me be lazy. Mrgh. At least I'll have some form of writing done next week. XD

@Saya Yeah, three year members is a pretty big accomplishment~ Honestly, I didn't think we'd get this far. But we did. XD I feel you on the stressful planning of the holidays thing. Dad, Mom and I practically scrambled to make our plans coherent enough so all of our family can go through with them. Hopefully you'll be able to recover from the stress later on~ Simple is good at some points.

@Sai And there's your other couple shining through. XD Gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with that small combo. It compliments each other quite nicely in my opinion anyway. XD Still, now I wanna play Mystery Dungeon or at least another Pokémon game. XD

@Aeli-chan Thanks! In my case, we didn't really have a lot of big plans--just a bunch of tiny things in going through with simple plans that add up. My mother was a bit too OCD at the time (I reckon it's the stress of losing her father; my grandfather) but, that doesn't make it easy on me which was on the receiving end.

We always have this tradition of eating some good old deep-fired pork shank for New Year's (my father's recipe for it is out of this world) but, I guess I kind of wanted to throw in my own two cents on the menu for the year. So I decided to make mashed potatoes. Would totally do it again but all I can say is that it's hard to make it without a potato masher (I used a giant steel spoon). XD

@Scythe Grass and Fire huh? Ran a Normal/Fire combo myself with Eevee and Torchic (both girls). Still, just finished post-game so...got any idea where to get evolution stones? Been looking around Mystifying Forest. No dice. XD

Well, the holiday of late capitalism is over and, though it had been very stressful and tiring for me, I was able to get some stuff, mostly from cash presents from relatives but I did use some of my own savings to buy it.

Of course, I immediately got to work on this one just a couple of hours earlier. HGs are rather fast builds; mine just took some time to complete what has been finished now because I've been painting and detailing.

Still needs his legs but even so, he's a mean looking fella:

Used three shades of gold for the highlights on that one, all with different applications. Sharpie Gold Marker for the hidden "bronze rings" under the shoulder armor, Hand-painted Tamiya Gold Leaf on the wiring in the arms, and Tamiya Titanium Gold spray paint for the pistons on the torso. Silver details were done with Aluminum Silver.

Hehe, I hope I can finish him up tomorrow! What did you guys get for Christmas (and New Year, if any)?

@Guardian Small combo of YuRidou being Ridou spiking Yurin with Violent Seeds and her going berserk on everything...because that's exactly what's going on with my game right now. XD Froslass fight had me hiding behind Yurin and giving her Oran Berries the entire time. XD

@Saya Well, I suppose you could look for Wonder Mail S for the evolutionary stones if you're desperate, but I suggest you keep looking in Mystifying Forest. I got a Fire Stone, Water Stone, King's Rock and a Metal Coat all for 1000 each...but I have 44,859 currently so. XD
