Howdy! On to my idea.
So, as most of my fellow roleplayers have observed, some users of RPG mistakenly think that the name they choose as a username will be the name of their character. I made that mistake, and ended up going with a rather bland name, Joseph Bennett. Some users, like Arminius, for example, are named after their character.
But why shouldn't our characters be named after us?
I want to get some authors, make some characters in the MV, and basically make them us. I think having a character that knows a decent amount about the MV up until the point of creation would be cool, and you wouldn't have to create a cool backstory to explain it off. It would be, in the most literal sense, a self-insert.
You can agree with me or tell me why this idea is silly in the responses, I'd love to coordinate this with my fellow authors. :)
Yours Truly,
Joseph Bennett
"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."
