[OOC] Maps and Legends

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby The Illusionist on Tue Sep 20, 2011 6:36 pm

*Nobody should be posting here besides me or Night.Ying*

I will be uploading maps and legends for those maps here when they become 'available'. Everyone should understand that the ship is huge, each of these rooms although looking small are quite big, for example the cryo room you are in could fit quite a few people in it if need be but it doesn't because it was built for a select few type deal. So when you walk into these rooms they will be big. The first map which I will upload either tomorrow or the next day depending how progression goes, is Deck B. Here is a general outline of the ship and its levels. (Keep in mind these are meant to be rather vague. Mainly just putting this here so you know what each level is in a nutshell. Also note, the rooms when I post the map... 2500 people on Deck B. Now some are crew members but you can imagine what size of a room we are going for when you think about it).

Deck A: The military area of the ship: Where the crew and military reside on the ship. Approx. 350 people.

Deck B: The passenger section of the ship: Where the passengers traveled, approximately 2500 people were living on this deck. Rooms are large but even then they were jam packed in.

Deck C: Storage area of the ship: This is where cargo and the likes were stored, from the cargo of the civilians to the huge amount of good to be delivered.

Deck D: Engineer deck: This is where the smaller space crafts are stored for landing on a planet and where the ship is maintained. Approx. 150 people.

Note: Just because I put an approx. it doesn't mean that is how many of the creatures are there, just how many passengers were initially there. The creature situation is basically they are everywhere, always hunting, always alert. Though more will be explained later.

Decided to upload it earlier than planned, wanted to give people a chance to see the ships general layout before we moved on. (Was to big to just put on here so you have to make the extra effort and click... Lol)

Deck B: Legend:

Red lines are sealed bulkheads which will not be removed while the protocol 11A5 is in effect.

Grey lines are sealed doors which can be opened by having such skills and spending the time to stop and open them, which is rather difficult and will take awhile. The sealed doors can also be opened by hacking into the control room computer mainframe.

Yellow lines are sealed doors which need a security card and a thumb print in order to open.

The double arrows indicate an elevator or stairs. North and South are stairs while East and West are elevators.

*- Cryo room

1. Civilian quarters- run of the mill quarters, very little space between each room and only a single chest under each bed for a few personal items, all of the other stuff is kept in storage. While you probably wonā€™t find much of use here it doesnā€™t mean it is impossible depending on what youā€™re looking for.

2. Various
a. Cleaning and regular maintenance supplies.
b. A very state of the art automatic laundry room for the entire levels use. ā€˜Hang your stuff and come retrieve in 20 minutesā€™.
c. Requisition office. A place where people can come and requisition items, basically a sort of post office where you can buy items you need which are then shipped up from storage, also where people can get things from their bags. Always back logged.

3. Shower/Bath area
a. Womenā€™s shower/ bathing area
b. Menā€™s shower/bathing area

4. Changing rooms
a. Womenā€™s changing room
b. Menā€™s changing room

5. Dining Hall- Humongous open dining hall meant to hold all of the passengers at once for a meal

6. Kitchen- Run of the mill industrial size kitchen, the food isnā€™t good but it is edible

7. Ship Bar/Lounge- A bar/lounge for those who can afford it

8. Floor Control Room- The room on Deck B which controls many of its systems

9. Headquarters- Essentially B Decks police department. Made up of non-military personnel to handle the day to day things on B Deck

10. Crew Lounge- Where the crew section of B Deck can relax when off-duty

11. Training/Recreation Room- A large room for sparring and daily exercise for the crew, civilians are not permitted entrance

12. Deck B Main Supply Room- Where most of the things on B Deck come from, such as hygiene products and other everyday things too troublesome to constantly transport from the Deck C.

13. Crew Quarters- Sleeping quarters for the crew, they are allowed more personal items and a bit more space than the civilians, though not much.

14. Armory- The B Decks armory, containing mostly pistols, snipers, and shotguns but also contains some riot equipment. A shooting range is also inside this sound proofed room. Must have an access card and thumb print to get inside.

15. Mercenaryā€™s Original Quarters- Where the mercenaries resided before being moved. May have some valuable contraband but probably not much

16. Recreation Rooms- Places for the civilians to move around a bit, spots must be reserved each day to prevent overcrowding. Contains everything from basketball courts and racquetball to regular weights and treadmills

17. Medical Bay- The medical bay on B Deck is large and well stocked but the storage area inside of it requires clearance.
